School Creek

A couple of get offs and just riding at School creek Milford lake
shit like this must be real good for sales
Two things, why not do the plugs at 19,000 miles when it calls for the valves to be checked/adjusted (everything is exposed then) and why not show the front outside plug which is by far the most difficult? but thank you for your effort
I drove this in a jeep. Wow
Check the Lamda 😉😉
Tried that. Nothing. Disconnected battery half hour. Nothing. Charged battery. Nothing. Checked fuses and bulbs. Nothing. Refusing to yet go to dealer, I searched for something wrong. Found that hose came off. Fat hose top left side, looks like a head vent hose maybe ? Reconnected and MTC failure warning left but engine light stayed on. Rode bike down street and this time it would rev past 5K RPM to redline. Great now why engine light won't go off? Pull back into garage and shut bike off. Go to restart bike and MTC Warning is back. Thought sure it was the hose, since it went away after reconnecting the hose. BTW exhaust valve seems fine. Not sure exactly when this started. Was riding home from work. Turned onto my street and bike hesitated. I thought it stalled, doing about 30mph, when rpms dropped, but twisted throttle and it seemed OK. Rode about half mile home and parked it. Next morning MTC Warning and wouldn't go past 5400rpm. Reluctant to take it to dealer and get screwed. Had a popular problem a lot of people get, with my last Toyota Tundra. Kept searching for two months until I realized I had no back up lights, and that caused transmission to jump in and out of gear while in reverse. ABS and 4X4 lights on dash. A 20 cent fuse fixed the problem. A dealer probably could have told me anything, costing a lot to fix. I'm frustrated with this KTM but gonna keep searching some myself to fix it. I had considered many possible causes but reconnecting that hose and warning going away for a bit, I'm wondering now what? Does anyone know of a diagnostic tool that isn't expensive? I had the $400 one for my BMW, but seems with KTM there's only the dealer/shop kind costing several thousand dollars.
Follow up. After hearing the MTC Failure is almost always the servo flapper, I got a car obd2 scanner. Code was the exhaust valve. The same guy that said that's always the cause, also said the dealer sets the tension of cables within a parameter on their computer scanner. I played with cables and after several code on code offs, the end result was I re-loosened lock the nut closest to the valve on the top cable until the tensioner was sloppy enough to wiggle it. Code is off, engine light off. I ordered the ES Eliminator from Rottweiler and gonna trash the servo. Apparently undue resistance on cable/s can throw up the code. Frustrating to have to ride home short shifting with max RPM 5K so thought I would share info. Loosening cables might work as a temporary roadside fix.
it's a shame you never followed up with the cause of the problem and the solution to get the lights of the instrument panel?
It does come with trolling motor mount
Yes it does come with trolling motor mount
Buggering up the rim in the U.K. has a different meaning 😂👍🏻
Good job, i like your style...;)
Can you show us how to cycle the throttle body?
what sort of spring is that?
What phone mount is that you have above the dash? It looks perfect!
I changed to universal fuel pump with a kill a toggle kill.switxh It was the in the ignition system. The toggle.switch ans universal fuel are very cheap and easy
I'm having a similar problem with my Kubota 26 HP. What did the issue turn out to be? I'm suspecting a fuel issue
Ready to race???...noooo....ready to shit...Yesssssssss
Loose Battery Connection...
Thanks for the video. It would have been helpful, for some who don't know mechanics that much, like me, if you would have shown what manually cycling looks like and means. In any case, you have given me some hope.
Thank sir
*I installed this on my kayak and it works GREAT>>>**allabout.wiki/4m7o** Nice and small ... doesn't take up a lot of room on the kayak. I installed the transducer from inside the hull.*
*Works better than expected>>>**allabout.wiki/4m7o** In spite of having to drill through the back of the boat, it was fairly easy to set up. The shallow depth alarm is perfect for protecting the prop!*
Worth the investment.
Greetings. Nice bike. How did you get that colour scheme?
I stripped all the parts off, prep'd the parts, primer, paint, and installed new graphics. Total cost $650
@@precisionpredators ohhh... Good job.
Good job. Thanks.
How do you like it?
Is this tank made out of plastic or metal?
Haveing the same issue after installing bazazz tuner and Rottweiler airbox temp sensor plugged in have everything zip tied unsure how it would interfere with throttle
Did it hurt it any?
Longest 2 minutes of my life. Start the camera "hey, I bought INSERT BRAND, model INSERT MODEL, the don't fit on INSERT BIKE MODEL/YR, don't buy them"...but nooooooo.... wanted to be a producer....
Yep. I've been there not long time ago. Have you ever remove inner the spark plug sleeve to adjust the valve clearance?
It's ok, its your bike? Then you better not ever sell it to anyone or if you do you should sell it cheaper than value because it's that kind of attitude that there are so many bikes hacked with stripped threads and missing bolts, damaged components due to lack of knowledge and shouldn't be working on their own shit, but still do anyways, and then say it's my bike I'll hack it up if I want to. But then sell it with broken shit inside that is only discovered once the next owner goes to work on it. I've had so many bikes like that because of fuckheads like you and ask for full value. go to hell
Dave, what is the brand and type of brake pads you are using?
Wind guards for your camera are cheap.
Well the front sprocket nut seems easy to loose for you, I use a 2meter lever and can't loose it
How to get the front ones out ????
From where did you get that spark plug socket ? I need one too
I can hear the frustration in your voice...I’m not looking forward to doing this
For the load setting to work the bike has to idle. DO NOT sit on the bike as you can damage the servo doing the hight adjustment.
freakin' awesome paintscheme and rumbux bars
can you reshoot video now that you have learned how to use it , how do u like it after nearly 2 years?, im thinking about getting one
How does slime work in with the tire pressure sensors, doesn't it work its way into that ?
I love the way your bike looks
Any vids on valve clearance
Do the wings heat shield under your seat really work?
this is a good video.
this is a good comment.
this is a good video.
this is a good comment.
my 73sv cane with a trolling motor mount, the 93sv should have came with it too.
Had the same. It was a faulty brake switch. Messes the entire electronic package up. Best part: I got three faulty switches. Made in china...
Hi Patrick, which switch are you referring to? The one that triggers the brake light or the sensor at the wheel that senses wheel speed? Front or back? Thanks, Dave
Mine superduke doing the same thing
@@krissmith2321 I think it's a feature of all Ktm .
what the hell have you done to the DB killers in the exhaust can ??
Good video. Personally I leave the rear wheel on the ground before wrenching the front sprocket loose, that way you dont need to leave it in gear and create stress on the internals.
Hey Dave nice Gamin, How long is the transducer [ inches] I"m thinking about buying one soon, Before I buy one I want to make sure it fit on my trolling motor, I heard you say it was pretty big..................Nice Video.
Did that heat wrap on the exhaust do anything to help with the heat under the seat? Thanks for the videos it's given me the courage to wrench on my own bike.
