I have a 2021 Raptor XL and a 2021 XD. I have put 1,000 hours on the XL! yes 1,000 hours on the XL. the right side transmission started getting weak at 900 so I had it replaced $925 for parts and labor. I paid $3,699 for the XL and $4,299 for the XD in 2021! These mowers are AWESOME!!!
I am starting my build using your trust design can you show me the truss details more closely please.
That's great! If you haven't already watch the five month review of the Cedar pavilion and we should have some more close-up shots. Let me know if you have any questions: 5 MONTH REVIEW! Timber Frame Cedar Pavilion Build ua-cam.com/video/SBZskYpMCOI/v-deo.html

Awesome man, it was really helpful.
Great to hear!

It's nice for it to look neat and tidy, but plants are good things! Stones should be accents, not filling up a whole bed's worth of space. I don't mean to demean your work, of course, just the way you talk about the plants like they're inherently ugly.
If the homeowner has time to manage bushes, flowerbeds and plants then I agree. But there is something to be said for those that prefer to have nice looking flowerbeds with low maintenance/time commitments all year long. Put the flowers in nice containers to create low maintenance color and creativity to your beds. If you drive around the average neighborhood, half of the flowerbeds are not being maintained or taken care of. Its partly because we are not simplifying the flowerbeds to begin with to make them sustainable for some people's schedules.
Size 10 safety sandals looks good
Probably $500 for a load
Close. A bit more for us.
Look like 15 Tons
They fooled you hard. That gravel looks wet, they do so to make it weight more, and if not, make sure to not buy dirt, sand, gravel when it rained in the earliest days. That don’t look like 20/25 tons trust
Why not just tell us how many yards you bought instead.
I asked for a full truck load. I am pretty sure that is what I received. Full truck load should be over 20 tons regardless of the rock material.
I made pee gravel once. Got arrested.
Little foot :P
They lied to you bubba your getting about 16-18 tons depending who you get it from you may find a honeys guy who’s just staring out with his own truck and hasn’t broken anything hey he may bring you 20 buy ain’t no damn way your getting 25 nothing
25 tons my ass, only the largest super dump can haul that with triple drops, heavy steer, twin drives and the strong axel off the back.
You got too much time on your hands buddy. You just took some of my mine!
@@carlwilliams6977 lol
Why didn’t u ask for the ticket from the scale house? Woulda told you exactly what the load was
I know the guy that delivered it to me and didn't feel that to be necessary.
This sounds stupid but is it possible for that to be hosed to a area if you can't get it there? I do want that in my backyard and my driveway is sloped and I can't dump on public road. Just asking if they do that.
Yep. If you got the money. You can also use wheele barrows.
Great video!!! Great ASM!!. You are as good a narrator as you are a builder. Id love to see the pavilion with the lights on and the boat under it.
We created a short video that shows just that here: ua-cam.com/users/shortss-XuGsS7FoA
I have an Echo PAS-225. My brushcutter attachment came with a blade with a lot of teeth. It cuts saplings and small reeds, but it didn't cut the thick weeds enough. I have been looking around and I keep coming back to the Echo 3-Tooth Grass & Weed Blade. The only thing that I don't like about it is the price of $31. I wasn't sure if I should do the three tooth or try out the blade you are showcasing.
Personally, since nobody asked I'd put a membrane under the rocks. Of course that can be omitted if the soil is already heavy clay soil. The larger rocks also serve well as cobblestone, long before the square granite blocks came to be, the widest part pointing up for foot-travel and the thin end up for wagon travel.
SOIL is heavy clay here to your point.
i have a xdx i got for my mom 60 in deck and i belive a kawasaki fx 730 and it sucks tires get no traction engine is way under powered reason i got it is to mow our hill and it cant do that
copy
I have that mower and it’s good but it gets no traction and tears up my yard would not recommend
We did have a similar experience but got use to it. Also, you can swap the tires out for different types and we did that on one of the mowers with good success.
🔥🔥🔥
Who would’ve thought a thin metal band that breaks when hit with a hammer would snap under 3000lb loads haha I wouldn’t have thought that beforehand! Seems kind of obvious after the fact
The reason it snapped was mainly because there was a metal lip on the dump trailer and the band hit it a certain way when it came off. I agree in hindsight that it seems logical it would break regardless, but bundles have been dumped like that and stayed in tact so it caught me off guard.
it looks kinda out of place to me
=-(. It looks better now after we dressed it up with boulders and did a few more things
About $277/ton next door in Ohio.
I bet that stuff is 'spensive
Update the kit is now close to 80.00
I found one you can get on Amazon for under $40 instead of Home Depot: a.co/d/buId4bk
Thank you for this video. I've got a strap that I'm working on right now. This really should save me some time.
Glad to hear!
I’d like to subscribe but your videos are incomplete

Why does everyone feel the need to pour tons of concrete into post holes when backfilling with a clean pea gravel is enough. Pea gravel is self compacting and I not only cheaper is strong enough. And self draining.
I have not had the best experience with pea gravel on a horse fence we had installed using that method about 7 years ago. All of the post are fairly loose at this point. Have you had good experience that has lasted for many years after install.
@@troxelservices Yes. A fence is an unfair comparison because it contains no cross and lateral bracing which eliminates wobbling. I currently have a 24 x 36 shop with 12 foot ceiling and a concrete floor which wraps the posts. No problems after 6 years and I don't expect any anytime soon.
i had a dude to tell me it will take him like 4 hours to replace them. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Apparently, he didn't know that i knew better. Smh
Hmmm. If you have the right tools and know the process it should take less than 2 hours. However, it can take longer if you have a bolt that is not lined up and hard to remove and don't have the right tools.
Was it expensive?
A job like this can range anywhere between $4,500 and $7,500 accounting for a material, Direct Labor, overhead and profit.
Good job. My pully spring on the deck was a bear tho!
Yes! There are tricks to help get it on and off but it always seems a bit uncomfortable to do so.
I used my motorcycle spring tool and a pull strap
Riprap sounds like a sound cloud rappers name. Lil Riprap coming out with his new album selling them rocks.

Be sure to constantly check the bolts for the wheel motor brackets I’m about 700 hours into my SD with the 60 inch deck and it’s a 2018 model and the bolts keep breaking and sharing off good thing. I have extra ones. Took a while for them to figure out the wheel motor bracket issue was pretty frustrating, even though it was under warranty. I had to pay out-of-pocket and then they would send me a check in the mail🤦♂️I went through several pairs and a bunch of frustration, but it has been a great mower overall and it is easy to work on. Also, I live in a sandy climate on the coast of North Carolina and my deck is getting eaten up pretty good from the sand. I do run my mower commercially. also the deck bracket upgrade where it shoots out The grass is a great upgrade. My 60 inch deck with a four year extended warranty that I bought at Lowe’s was a little over 9000$ definitely going to upgrade my mower for next season. I’m looking at the hyper drives now. Great starter mower though. For sure💯
We just bought another XD(newer version of the SD) We have two of them now, a 2022 year and now a 2024 year. So far these have done well for the $5,400 price point. We tried a bad boy elite and we like the Hustlers SD/XDs better
@@troxelservices nice I hope they work out well for you. I put every single hour on that mower since I’ve had it and I have to say for not even being a commercial unit and me running it commercially and putting it through its paces even with the defects of the wheel motor brackets Im still very impressed with it. When I do buy a new commercial industrial unit, I’m going to keep this SD. Just because it’s super easy to work on and I know it inside and out. The grass grows extremely vigorous where I am, especially when we have a lot of rain. Even with all the hours that I have put on it it still runs very strong and spits out grass 6 to 8 feet out of the deck with my shoot open wet grass will shoot out about 4 1/2 to 5 feet and that’s soaking wet. Pretty impressive for sure. The only thing I don’t like about the XD is the rear tires are not as wide as the SD because the ground is super wet here where I am for a lot of the summer unless we are in a drought. It’s a lot less of rutting up the yards and still making impressive lines and not leaving wheel tracks imprinted in the ground. So many decisions, I almost thought about not getting a hyperdrive because the tires on it for how big the unit is don’t look too wide and I’m afraid it’s going to be too heavy.
Great Video! Very well done!!
Man up
Will do
Are you putting any dead men on those walls?
Good question. If it were a layer higher and not being anchored in with Rip Rap Rock and half inch rebar then we would. But there is no need for a dead man on this design and specs.
A lot towns have banned them smell chemicals
interesting
1 metal nand isn't gonna hold that weight. If you thought it would you need a new line of work
@@dallasdebord4070 I almost responded to your comment but I'm not sure it's worth engaging...

Just curious, but how much would you charge for something like this? Labor, material, hardscaping?
$33,000 - $38,000
I don't know about 1m x better.... maybe 900k x better. 😄
Wow!!!
I know!
It's called helicoil. Very common to Ford's. We did them for $400.00.
To be honest I wish I found a mechanic that would do it for $400 every shop including small shops I called around here it was several thousand dollars and they didn't want to handle it unless they replace the entire cylinder head
