I've never seen a good mechanic more interested in a flashy ride than a rock solid reliable haul my a$$ from point a to point b for years without issues grocery getter. His credibility just leaked out like the oil from a BMW. 😂

on my 5th Highlander, no issues, only oil changes and tires, you can not go wrong with Toyota .

A Mercedes SUV is only good till the warranty runs out then it instantly becomes a money pit, Audi too and BMW is the worse. The Highlander will out last the Mercedes, BMW and Audi 3-6 times by just changing your oil every 5000 miles. Highlanders are expensive because they're one of the most reliable cars you can buy, 400,000 miles ok? Edit: the Highlander has a timing chain that never needs to be changed until the engine breaks 👌

It sounds like a lot of these issues could have been avoided by doing a test drive to see if you were ok with how it drives? As for including more options as standard, I'd refer you to the other premium competitors (e.g. X3 and Q3) and see how much stinger they are in comparison.

OMG. Look at all the fingerprints on the screen and the piano black controls below. I don't like touchscreens only, therefore did not consider this EV. Too bad... because it looks quite nice otherwise. Give me a dial control knob or hard buttons.

I own a Highlander ( XLE 2019) my oly real complaint is ..that last row is tight But I don't use it everyday I'm a solo camper ..Bike rider so this is perfect for that ...worst case I can lay seats down and sleep like a baby

Disagree with you. I’ve owned an Audi A1, A3, Q3, A4 and now the A5 Sportback for just over a year now. The car is a joy to drive and has been completely reliable. Every now and then I scan for faults with the obd11 but it’s only tyre pressure I get back. It’s an automatic diesel. I also have two kids and space is enough for them in back. My only negative is when driving boy racers like to try and intimidate on the road, but that’s nothing to do with the car workings itself. But yes for me this is the best car I’ve owned, next one is an RS5.

My cousin had an Audi A5 sportsback, only had 1-2 small problems and actually lasted quite close to 95k-100k miles. And yes it’s not cheap and it’s low to ground and it uses premium fuel, IT IS A SPORTS CAR 🤣🤣. Look at Acura, their 4 cylinders also use only premium. Also it’s not a coupe, it’s a sportsback, it’s a mix of a coupe and 4 door sedan . Your review meant nothing
