I bought a water wave headband unit from Unice in March. As of early May it was unwearable. Yes the water is nasty brown everytime you wash it. You probably get 3 or 4 washes between wears out of it then the water starts to run clear. Now the hair is super dry, starts matting, clumping and tangling together while you wear it. The hair looks exactly like yours now. After heavy detangling so many times it’s just overly processed looking and thin when all I did was wash it between wears. No heat nothing. My last resort to try to look decent to go to work was pin it up in a clip. Still matted on my head pulled up off my shoulders. I highly do not recommend Unice. They first offered $40 to buy better hair products- I already use expensive good products. Then they wanted me to pay to send it back to see IF they want to refund or exchange. I need something on my head to go to work so I said no. They didn’t guarantee my full money back or guaranteed exchange. So the most offered me $60. On a wig over $300. They said they only make the wigs to last 2-3 months with “excellent” care. My wig from yolissa hair had lasted over a year before I had to replace it.

Girl been their my horror stories I stop putting money in the garbage I make my own wigs from previous extensions I learn from UA-cam I know who you are talking about she does a lot of wigs reviews shame on her I bypass all her video and unsubscribe

Whoever told you to boil it??? You can’t boil hair. You get damage from really hot water so boiling was an assassination to it.

If you couldn't grt the smell out you should just throw the wig into the garbage

I started to research ethical hair extensions a few years back and I realized part of the reason for the inconsistencies in hair quality is because the hair isn’t all sourced from the same place. Some companies use fallen hair from salon floors, animal hair, and they even assault women and cut their hair off. Violence against women for long hair is prevalent in some other countries. There are not always enough donors to get the amount of hair they need at the price point they want. I personally try to make sure the hair I buy is ethically sourced. I have found ethically sourced hair is better quality. It costs more so I can’t buy as much hair as I use to, but I see the difference in quality and it lasts me much longer. There are no regulations or ways of knowing if the hair actually came from where they say it’s coming from

The curls were beautiful, had no crazy scent and was absolutely gorgeous!!! I believe partially due to your experience. Thanks for your integrity. ❤

I purchased from them them and straight out the box I knew I received crap. I packed it back up and requested a refund label. Its been 4 days no label and many stall tactics or no response at all. I will never buy from them again. I guess you get what you pay for. The best hair does not cost two hundred dollars. These wigs are all a synthetic blend and chemically processed.

bought from unice a year ago and the hair was not curly at all!! I was looking at reviews on youtube and the curly were curly and thick from root to tip, but when mine came it there was no curl it looked more like waves and the hair was very VERY thin at the ends. I was so disappointed, it was my first time buying bundles and I saved up to buy those but they ended up being un wearable

There's always a chance with buying hair some hair you have to wash first but based on price vs LuvMe Unice in my opinion is superior. I didn't have to wash mine but I'm so sorry this happened

I just got w a wig from them it was terrible and the box it came in was dirty and had fingerprints on it the wig was way to big for my head and Rhein. I believe that they sent me a wig that was already worn! I will never do business with them again

I am mot a UA-camr either, but I was thinking of doing the same thing. The hair stunk to high hell. I spent a whole day trying to get that stench out with the same methods as you (except the boiling). Girl, you are in for another very unpleasant surprise. It MATTES and TANGLES. Because it is so matted, when you are detangling it sheds like all get out. I removed a fist-sized chunk of hair last night. I was afraid to get it wet because it started “detangled” hair was retangling as I was picking it out. Touching nothing but itself, it was turning into a ball. I let it soak in conditioner last night, but I am still half-ass afraid to touch it for fear it will matte up again. I have only worn this wig for 6 days, and it is already garbage. I wouldn’t recommend this hair even if they were paying me.

I’m wearing a unit from them now, I’ve had it for a month. It is pretty and I get a lot of compliments. It is deep wave, but the shedding is HORRIBLE. definitely not worth the $300 plus I spent. Also I gave them 4 stars on their website, and they deleted it!! Thank you for this review!!

I’m so bummed I was going to purchase from their because they offer wigs for smaller head sizes whereas most others do not, I’m glad I found this review before wasting so much money like I have on luvme and other sites. I can’t understand why they don’t make wigs for head circumferences smaller than 22”…all the bands do is cause bulging/gaping

Most of the wigs I’ve gotten from Amazon have a strong stench that’s very hard to get out.

The smell in most casts comes from the perming process. When perm or chemically process our hair it stinks for a while. THATS WHY YOU HAVE TO WASH BEFORE WEARING. MAYBE not to the extent. Lol
