Where I live there would be some idiot in left lane going 50 mph every half mile.and police riding behind half of them as if they're doing nothing wrong.and the engineers at Dot can't figure out why traffic is so bad.their solution is always to spend several years and billions of dollars to add more lanes.traffic is no better.I have an idea,if you catch someone NOT PASSING in the left lane write them a 500.00 ticket for the first offense,1000.00 for the second offense and suspend their license for a year on the third offense.no more traffic jams, problem solved.

The shaft is exposed with this mod. What's the point ?

If anything the wider rear tire probably adds a few degrees to the lean angel on the V-Max, because it brings the outside edge of the 240 tire closer to the footpeg, instead of being closer to the center like a 180 is. And yes on standard sportbike lean angles the 180 does perform better, and even gives a greater contact patch on the sides, more similar to the 120 front, but the wide V-Max is not designed to lean that far over to begin with.
