The Texas Rancher
United States
Приєднався 23 жов 2022
Follow my day to day life on a real working cattle ranch in rural East Texas. Hi there and welcome to the The Texas Rancher UA-cam channel. My name is Joe. As you may have already guessed, I'm a full time cattle rancher. We raise beef cattle. Actually, we are a cow/calf operation for Angus Beef and recently just added a registered Aakaushi (Waygu) bull to cross with Black Angus. Besides cattle, we have a variety of animals on the ranch. We have horses, a Donkey named Candy Ass, a Llama named Carl, my Border Collie named Maggie and Dak and Melody our livestock guardian dogs. Oh and we have chickens and quail too! What can you expect to see on the channel? Anything farm and ranch related from workin cattle to the equipment we use to work the land. When I'm not working I enjoy hog hunting and fishing. Basically anything to do with animals or outdoor stuff you can find it here. Thanks for stopping bye. I hope you will consider subscribing.
How To Build and Setup a Pig Pipe
In this video I will explain the parts needed to build a pig pipe. The idea behind a pig pipe is to keep the pigs busy trying to get small amounts of corn from the pipe. This can help keep the pigs occupied for long periods of time in one area rather than destroying your farm land. This may also help keep the pigs away from your deer feeders.

Our First Hay Cutting Is Done
Переглядів 593 місяці тому
We got 850 bales in the first hay cutting. I’ve spent the last few hauling and stacking hay. I still have a few hundred more bales to haul and stack before it’s all done. This single cutting should be enough to get us through winter and have a little left over to sale. #texasrancher #farming #ranching #agriculture #hayseason #hayharvesting

Cattlemen’s Vlog - Episode 1 : Preparing for Winter
This is NOT a Jake's Wire Tightener!!!! This is cheap junk made from across the pond and sold in the USA by Amazon and maybe some other low-budget marketers. UNLESS IT SAYS "JAKE'S WIRE TIGHTENERS-----------------do NOT waste your money !!!! The Post Man LLC
@@rodhuse8793 if you watched the video you would know that I mentioned in the video at approximately 2:20 it is a knockoff of Jake’s. I met the owner of Jake’s at a cattle conference a while back. I’ve tried to contact him and still have not received a reply. I want the real Jake’s Wire Tighteners. These knockoffs are not nearly as good but it’s what I have at the moment.
The miracle of life! ❤ A good momma. 😊

❤ Aww, such a good Mama. 😊 I love the way you care for your animals.

@@beenana9533 thank you. I have some new content on the Facebook page.
Awesome.
Please don't say "I hope the quality is ok" and apologize for roosters. Viewers just want to see the content. Just a friendly suggestion from a fellow video creator.
Wow! That’s a lot of hay! Congratulations on such a plentiful season!
Eta cowboy bom. Não precisa de cavalo. As "meninas" vêm rapidinho. Parabéns a esse texano.
The screen is so small. Is there anyway to put the video output on a larger screen?
@@ziqif3407 the screen is smaller than I would like, however I have used it in the field hunting hogs a few times. I only use it to scan the area out in front of me as the camera is mounted on the bumper of my Kawasaki mule. It’s actually pretty good in this application. I did some research and did find the same connectors and adapters online. The video connection is common in the auto industry in infotainment systems. I don’t have a positive answer to your question. I do think if you found a monitor and the right inputs you could use a larger external monitor. It would require more research before I could say with certainty.
