10 Bands Reviving The Nu-Metal Genre
Переглядів 14 тис.3 роки тому
Korn, System Of A Down, Slipknot, Linkin Park and many more bands were booking great success in the late '90s and early 2000s. The nu-metal genre was at an all-time high. The bands in this list still draw inspiration from those years and we can safely say the nu-metal resurgence has begun. Ofcourse, calling something nu-metal is open to discusssion. The bands in this list have a nu-metal sound ...

How about summer breeze, Obscene Extreme Festival, and Brutal Assault?
Bloodstock
Bloodstock is better than Download
Summer breeze 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
You make worst list ...Brutal Assault No 1 for every person who visit this festival and other fests.
Back at Bloodstock next year for the 3rd time in 4 years.
Personally I prefer bloodstock over all of these
Summer Breeze and Party San are better than wacken in Germany
Wacken is a metal fans Christmas
WAAAAAACKEEEEEEN!
Tolminator!
Number 1: Reload Festival!🦁
Graspop ist definetly one of the worst festivals I've ever visited. You can only bring one case of beer, prices are beyond good and evil, and the organisation is one of the worst I've ever experienced. Wacken is one of the best. Even though it's expensive as fuck.
you forgot 2 festivals 100xs better than all of them bloodstock and obscene extreme!
My favourite festival is Brutal Assault which takes place in Czeck republic
That's just the list of biggest metal festivals, not necessarily the best.
5 OF the best, not necessarily THE best. It's a list with what we think are 5 of the coolest metal festivals in Europe. A part 2 is in the works.
@@TheHeavyHunt ok, thx for clarification. Brutal assault better be in part 2 😃
Going to Tolminator this year for the first time, can't wait to see it. The location itself is just amazing,
Hope you had fun! I surely had!
@@soaringblackbird4431 damn straight I did :D
@@hunterkiller9991 Likewise it was awesome!
You didn't even mention the best one: KEEP-OT-TRUE!
Brutal Assault is the best festival in the world
Great interview! Eric is an awesome guy! Such a great dude!
Eric is so nice, love him.
One of the reasons i love this band so much! They are so down to earth and amazing to there fans!
So down to earth! Nice interview :)
Eric is so nice ❤❤🔥
Switch ressurectionfest with brutal assault..... ressurectionfest is a poorly run shitshow. Great lineup great location but the festival organization is non existent 😅
The big problem with Wacken is that you can very easily have shitty weather during the whole festival (like last year). For me, Hellfest is #1.
Even tho my legs felt like they would fall off the last day.last years wacken was still a blast! You get what you put into it.
@@wimble39 I'm 55... when I was 35 I'd agree, now I'm a bit too old to spend four days swimming in knee deep mud ;) Hellfest and Motocultor for me !
Sweden Rock, Tons of Rock, Fuji Rock, Masters of Rock, SummerBreaze, Rockstadt, MetalDays, Tuska, CopenHell...
Bloodstock in the UK is so much better than Download.
Considering the absolute state of Download for the past few years, Bloodstock is absolutely the better choice in every way. Download Festival is just corporate shit now, such a shame.
so glad Chaoseum didn't make this list, they're literally just a cover band at this point.
Nu metal was THE thing back when I was a teenager, late 90s - early 2000s and I still love this genre more than anything... so happy it never died!
Judas y Ozzy, el resto me sobra, la mayoria ni canta. Quizá Metallica también.
Jij bent sowieso nederlander maat 😅🤟
Nu metal Forever!!!!! 🤟
Yo! Don't sleep on HOPE or .bHP y'all be missing out if you do

graspop is so much better than wacken ,its not even comparable
I went to my first metal festival ( Copenhell ) and had an absolute blast 11/10 would recommend
I was in Germany from 73-03 and in 80 they had a Summer Nights festival that traveled around Europe, 7 bands in the show and it was mostly Rock & Metal . Than came The Monsters Of Rock I've been to 5 of those that I can remember of hand. But there where always good bands at those shows at least 7 per show and 5 where legit headliners.
my favourite is Dynamo Metalfest Eindhoven and Into the Grave in Leeuwarden (both in the Netherlands). Both small festivals which adds to the charm for me. I used to go to Wacken alot but it gets too expensive for me.
My top 5 would be: 5. Dark Easter Metal Meeting 4. Masters of Rock 3. Trveheim 2. Metalheadz Open Air 1. Keep it True For me the point of a festival is to see Bands you don't see otherwise and not the stuff that plays everywhere or the big names (which are better at a regular show than at a festival anyway).
Bloodstock is a great Heavy Metal Festival not far from Donington in England A compact Festival its an enjoyable weekend and you don't have to walk miles to get anywhere Well worth a visit
10 is called crazy n sane not crazy unsink
There were bands who brought back nu metal Attila dark complex backwordz smoke signals
Summer breeze!!!!
Brutal Assault is one i have attended the 2019,2022 and now in 2023. Great line ups, not a huge festival but enough and compact. They still have better prices then the rest of Europe which makes a big difference. Lots of good food as well. I am very much satisfied with that festival.
A metal festival best of without Obscene Extreme is not a best of.
Download is great if your a newbie but real experience is in Europe
Wacken has been slacking recently with the lineups, and I’d honestly switch its position here with Hellfest.
Ur just missing a big headliner. Wacken aint about that. Their mojo is having a wide variety of bands and they r accomplishing that with 200+
Download is the worst festival, just corporate rip off, so expensive, crap facilities. I like Bloodstock
Wacken is neither the biggest nor the best metal festival. And a significant number of metal fans would not even call it metal festival anymore but during the last couple of years the organizers were trying to get rid off some of the party tourists. I have witnessed several different metal festivals and you hear a slight fear of things becoming wacken like surprisingly often (as in more commercially oriented, less metal oriented) Underrated gems in Europe are for example: party san (the best German metal festival), in flammen, obscene extreme, brutal assault (which unforunately is at the same weekend as the party san) just to name a few
The best I've ever been to is Bloodstock, Furyfest (now Hellfest) and Dynamo.
