Atheism and Materialism is the trap. Attacks on religion are always used by the Left to position the State as the Highest Power. You can go higher than religion, and go straight to God, as intended as a way out, but you can't go down into the Material world. That's just another cage, just one with invisible bars that many won't even see.

What you might not know is that the book is truly based on the Bible. Whenever God makes a new rule, Matheson cites chapter and verse. As another reviewer of the book has said, to paraphrase: If you want to become an atheist, read the Bible. If you want to become an atheist while laughing hysterically, read this book. Clearly those who claim that one must believe every word of the Bible absolutely must filter out what they don't like about it first.

So excited about this book. It covers the history of Theory, and that has been a revelation. I know I will continue to be intimidated by the circular talk talk talk. Chapter 10 helps but I would love to see some role plays. If I had a stock of standard phrases to signal my secularity, gives me some dignity, before I troop off obediently to another diversity workshop!
