I actually take breaks like you! I lowkey have conditioned myself to keep reading or doing tasks by giving myself a treat every time I complete a task XD OR HAVING a treat like ice cream or snacks while reading makes me read for longer. If that isn't working, I read for 20 mins, then do something I don't like, such as schoolwork. This makes me NOT want to do assignments and use reading as a way to procrastinate. So a little brain hack in my part XD. Thank you for being nice about my hair! I actually miss my long hair but its whatever 😭😭❤️

The E-reader has saved me money 😭🫡. I currently have the Kindle Paperwhite Gen 11 (this is the one released in 2021). There is a new 2024 release but it has issues, so I would recommend getting a refurbished edition of the old one. If you are new to e-readers, The kindle basic is the best choice. It's smaller, but it basically has the same stuff. This was my baby for a while until I upgraded since I wanted the waterproof function of the paperwhite (basic doesn't have waterproofing).

Once all the tests and due dates are done, you can give yourself a reward! I bought a lot of smiskis as a stress buy XD Highly recommend! Retail therapy! I also invested in a mechanical keyboard that sounds DREAMY ,and it actually made writing papers A LOT more manageable and fun!

I know a lot of people find it scary compared to high school, but I found it really freeing in a way :) My #1 tip for reading is to read during your commutes or while waiting for classes (I know doom scrolling is RLY addictive, but having more books on goodreads feels a lot better in the long run :))

tytyty for the good wishes! DEFINITELY starts the second and third books fo the poppy war trilogy! The third one is my 6 STAR absolute fav! Babel starts slow but you will feel so intellectual when reading it, since it's heavy with teaching you about linguistics and the etymology of language.

Hi MIMI! I am giving you a warning if you pick up these dark romances, they are SO SMUT heavy that you will see them in every other chapter so pls just be warned! Also look at trigger warnings! LMAO plot wise from Blood and Ash is really fire! Like it is one of the romantasys that I have read that has SO much plot building but ughhhhh our female lead >:( I mean many it's just me but when your by book 4 of a 400-600 page series, the little stuff will eventually get on your nerves at some point XD I WANTED to love the Seven Year Slip so bad! Job Hunting is literally so hard, they take MONTHS to even reach out and doing nothing at home can really take a toll on mental health. TBH i was in this situation a few months ago and I did a little side gig of rover (so dog walking) it got me out of the house at least.
