Other side of the country. Almost all of the national league player interviews sound like that as well. Mouth slightly open, entire long sentences done in one long exhale, words sort of slurred and pauses replaced by the neutral "aaaaah" sound. If someone talks this way, you ask them what team they play for.

@Per Capita Absolutely rotten and failing youth hockey system. Nepotism, ice time dictated by parent sponsorship, kids groomed into thinking they're owed a chance in North America. It all needs to be burned to the ground before reinventing itself.
This shows us what makes hockey so great. The players come from so many diverse cultures and languages-- but all make peace off the ice. Well Done.
