Those fuel filters were put there to determine what was going on with the fuel before we fitted new filters underneath before the electric pumps. This exhaust came with the van/bus, the engine is a 2.0 and it has a couple of 44 carbs on it. So when the van/bus goes in for tuning I'm sure they will tell us what the best set up is regarding jets, bore size for carbs and exhaust system. We will obviously do some research before we go to the tuners beforehand on various bits so nothing is too much of surprise. Thank you ever so much for your comment 🤙

You can do it bud, evrything is harder on your own but, time, patience and perseverance is key. These are old vans, they want to die so desperately so they will always try there hardest to be as difficult as possible and that's why we have to fight harder to keep these marvels of engineering going 🤙🤙

We found out the hard way 🤣 he has ordered another Klokkernholm panel but he is only using the swage lines and manufacturer sets in different pieces rather than one whole panel. Thank you 🤙

Good evening mate, we searched "fire retardant self adhesive sound proofing foam" we had the 20mm we found it best to work with, the van unfortunately is still not running as we are concentrating on the body at the moment. We also used the fire retardant heat reflective foil from ebay. Thank you ever so much for your comments 🤙

Good evening, no we haven't at the minute but we will do when we come back to rebuilding them, we are going to leave that till everything is ready to move, rather than them being sat in the garage while we are filling and grinding

I cleaned out the crap between air filter and inner wing on my t4 van it was well clogged up !

Same, I've got plastic arch liners in mine too. The fitment isn't great but they do a good job of keeping the crap out. Then, every year, I jetwash all the nooks and crannies and rewax it.

@@ChlorophilG we're looking at making some and sealing all corners and just keeping on top of it. Luckily because it will be in the garage we will be able to get a good look at it when we get back from trips 🤙

Thank you ever so much for watching our video(s) for legal reasons i can not tell you what to do or what not to do but i can tell you what it says in the haynes manual. It does say to use sealant sparingly, we had a conversation about what sparingly meant / how much sparingly is. So we came to the conclusion that it is best left without any sealant as there was none on it when we split the crank case and with it being a machined face and with the bearings being half bearings. It does bare the question, if you were to put sealant between the 2 crank halves will it make a gap between the half bearings? It may only be very miniscule. But when your engine is doing thousands of rpms it does get you wondering what damage you may be doing to your engine. Where as if you don't put any sealant on at all anywhere you know that the faces will mate equally. We have had our engine running four half an hour (just at idle) *SPOILER* and we have got no leaks. As I said I am not telling you what to do or not to do. Anyway thank you ever so much for watching, i hope you enjoy the episodes 🤙
