I killed Genchiro already and also already puppeted the kited before moving Blackhat to Mt Kongo. I made sure he said he would move there as well. But he will not show up on the cliffside where he should spawn. I hate FromSoftware's quest with a passion.

Biggest issue is the availability for me Obviously things like flame vent, divine confetti/lazulite barrel are any time i want them. the abduction lasts for like 1 strike after the follow up. Which is a shame cause that effect is so gorgeous. The bestowals are such missed opportunity with two being locked behind such an uncommon enemy type. if there was at least something like the divine confetti item for each of those different effects to be able to make use of witj main bosses it would be a dream come true

Steps, since so many people seem to be struggling with this: 1. Warp to Old Grave, go left from the idol, drop off the ledge to land on the rooftop below. Drop through the hole and find Blackhat. Talk to him and purchase all of the unique items he sells. 2. Talk to Isshin in Ashina Castle after defeating Genichiro. This will cause Blackhat to disappear from the Old Grave location. 3. Warp to Senpou Temple, Mt. Kongo. Exit the building and head straight down and slightly to the left; you can find Blackhat standing by the edge of a cliff. 4. Acquire the Puppeteer Ninjutsu by defeating the Folding Screen Monkeys. Warp back to Senpou Temple, Mt. Kongo. Exit the building and drop down 2 ledges to right. Use Puppeteer on the Assassin. He will activate the crank controlling the shinobi kite. 5. Talk to Blackhat again, in the same location as before, just up the hill from the crank. 6. Warp to Shugendo. Go back through the cave towards the open area with the 2 twinblade monks, grapple to the rooftop of the nearby building, and then grapple up to the huge tree next to it. Go to the end of the tree branch and you will be able to grapple to the shinobi kite which is now flying there. Grapple across the gaps down to the cave across the valley. 7. Talk to Blackhat. 8. Choose "Break the Iron Code, stay loyal to Kuro" when confronting Owl in Ashina Castle. 9. Defeat the Divine Dragon to trigger the second invasion of Ashina Castle. Go to the Old Grave and jump down to the cliff side just before the archway leading to the bridge that connects to the Ashina Outskirts. You will find Blackhat sitting next to a tree near the cliff. Talk to him to receive the Mibu Pilgrimage Balloon.

Idk I've been very fond of high monk lately even on my plus 3 all skills unlocked it's extremely versatile even canceling the combo and just hitting the posture damage into deflecting or prosthetic fallow up, and the fact it doesn't cost emblems is incredible

I read that supposedly you can't summon Chesire in the 2011 remaster version. However I figured out that you can still summon him (though not very consistently) by spamming C right after jumping. If that doesn't work, spam C during the jump until he shows up. I don't know if this is common knowledge at this point, as I don't really lurk in any Alice fan communities, so I'm just letting you know if you didn't know already. Sometimes you don't even need to jump, spamming C while moving works too

i dont know why but he wont spawn for me, that is after speaking with him in the cave about his kid. Anyone else know why? It might be because its not night time for me, but idk. For me it is evening.
