I did the Landmark in 2010 recruted from an American friend in London she was very involved. I was at a low point in my life. Thinking I could do with some life coaching. On the third day I had figured out it was EST from the 70's know one mentions this. After the group high on the third day they are selling you courses. I have a very strong beleif in my identity and who I am, I was 53 and had lived in California and done lots of therepy and self help really I was just going through a rough patch. It was fun meeting people, where are the " Friends" 13 years later not here ! I had never been in a room with so many broken people and so many women who had been raped or sexually abused all with hope and thats what Landmark uses as fuel. I lived in California for far too long and had heard every story while serving food or making drinks. Landmark helps humans who have a lack of self and self esteem with a package of made up Linguistic BS and borrowed phillosphy serving helpings of packaged sermons to the needy and the lost. It did not stay with me nor impress me. I really wanted to find somthing, all I got out of it was it lacked humour it was controlling and it was a money maker it really didnt care about you. Welcome to Scientology for the poor ! However that said I find anyone from Con artist to Dictators how humuns follow them and what makes them so wonderful fascinating .

It's amazing that what the est Training and then Forum are still totally relevant today. I took the Training in 1/84. Since then, I participated in at least 30 seminar series. I haven't done anything with Landmark for the past 11 years...and just listening to Werner here makes me realize how much I miss participating. (To me, situations in my life always worked out easier and faster during periods when I was participating.)

But we cannot forget physics and reality… And there’s a lot to be said for trying to align ourselves with what is actually so outside of our evaluations.

I am a 1976 graduate of the training and also participated in the Forum and the seminar programs. @2004 was the the last Forum Review I participated in. I have participated in The Hunger Project over the years. I’m 72 now and was 26 back in ‘76. I got a lot more out from taking and assisting than I put in. Thank you for posting.

I took the Landmark Forum in 1991 and completed the Curriculum for Living, ILP,bin 1991. TMLP came later. It has been an adventureous journey on being human and being aware of the distinction between Inner Dialogue and Actual Thinking, being in control of my thoughts for the last 32 years. It is the road less traveled that few take. May we all never be the same again.

I took est in 1976, and am still getting value out of it.

Most of the "negative comments' are from people who have not tried it - not participated in order to gain your own perspective and be able to judge if it is valuable. It's like $400 and 3 days of your life to see if a transformation is possible right in your own commitments. We have all wasted far more than $400 and 1 weekend and things that we're entirely unhealthy and are not really complaining much about having done that. Go ahead - take a chance - trust the person who introduced you. Worst that can happen is you won't get much out of it. Best that can happen is an incredible freedom and liberation right in your life.

Nothing but a bunch of gobblydegook strung together made to "sound" like it's supposed to "mean" something. Total BS!
