Ok don't laugh. I played Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen up until two weeks ago on my Xbox 360, I debated getting Xbox X when Dragon's Dogma 2 came out and heard about a new Fable game coming out. I came across something and realized that I don't have to commit to Xbox or PlayStation because I can do games on a PC. I got a gaming PC, installed Steam and Dragon's Dogma 2, then I learned that there is a thing called MODS. Love the MODS idea but the videos I keep finding with instructions on how to install skip many things because they assume people just know, well...I don't just know, I'm completely new to PC gaming and MODS. Your video is good but I have a questions, where do I put the REFramework, ScriptCore, XYZAPI and the others that I can't recall at this moment, the tools needed for the MODS? I think a complete MODS install for dummies would be awesome, I can't imagine I'm the only one out here completely new to PC gaming...plus I'm 52yrs old which means I need detailed step by step instructions without assuming I know anything. I sure hope to get a response so I can get my game working with MODS.

I installed this mod at the very start of my very first ever BG3 playthrough a few days ago. This mod is absolutely fantastic! However.. there are situations (battles) where the camera gets completely stuck facing down towards the ground and when it happens I'm not able to look out ahead of me, or look up if mobs are on a roof top etc. when I'm at ground level. Because of this problem, it's causing quite a bit of frustration whenever it happens. So far there's been two different battles that I've engaged in that this problem has occurred. The first time it happened when I was entering a town called Blighted Village.. When you enter that town there's goblins up on the roof tops and instead of it being a simple fight, my entire party wiped for the first time because I couldn't get the camera to face any direction other than down at the floor and could not look at, and could not target the goblins above. I also pressed "O" (tactical camera) to see if I could correct the problem but it didn't help. Anyone else running into this problem? And if so, what are you doing to fix the problem? Even when I restart the game or if I load a previous save, if I restart those two particular fights, the camera ALWAYS screws up! Any help would be great!

This has ben mostly helpful, I'm still having trouble updating to the non mod fixer items (it kept trying to open vortex mod manager until I got fed up and deleted), but now it won't let me download it. I also seem to have to find alternative choices for some of my mods (I previously had Gold Weighs Zero, and it didn't let me update). What can I do so that now if I download or update mods it actually goes to the right spot?

Someone help me, I put a mod and then it says "the mod is not official", and now I can't start my world

So to see what the file is on nexus without downloading (there have been a lot of malware going around on Skyrim lately) is click on Preview file contents, and it will show you wants in the file. This is the best way to do it because if a mod seems like it would be a hundred+ MBs and you look at the preview and it's like 2 files it's pretty suspicious. You can also do your method but this adds an extra layer of "security". If you're new to modding get into the habit of doing this even if you know the mod author is legit.

I'm freaking out. I got a super high end PC, and a 4K monitor, but when I rotate the camera, it looks kinda choppy. It feels like the ration is not going through every pixel, it feel like it's skipping pixels, so it looks choppy. I got G-Sync compatible enabled, and the game runs at about 100-140 FPS. I don't know what to do. I'm looking for a mod that fixes camera movement with FPS outpuit I'm getting, but I don't know where to look. Helkp

OMFG...this might have saved me from never really playing the game. I bought it off all the hype and rave reviews, but I couldn't stand the top down camera view. I hate it. Especially being a big DA or ME fan. When I tried BG3 I literally got to the part where you first land on the beach and never touched it again. I just couldn't do it. Now if only somebody could mod it to play more like DA in battle...where I can fight in real time and not paused...lol. Ty for this.

I'm having an issue recently where the In Game Manager disables all of my mods(I am using BG3MM from LaughingLeader). However, this is more than a minor annoyance. When I have to reenable my mods with the in game manager it puts the load order into alphabetical order and breaks some of my mods. How do I fix this??
