awwwwee. thank you so much for subscribing and joining the fam. 🥰 i do like the program online because, i am able to study and do assignments comfortably at home and i personally feel like its less pressure online vs. in person. there are still job opportunities but mostly in person i haven't seen many remote cj jobs since i began the program back in 2018 but you can always connect with your professor via email, blackboard, or set up a time in person (if that's an option), ect. i hope this helps. 💕

Well first off congrats on school! 🥳 secondly, I would say go for it! If it doesn’t require any experience, is there a way for you to do some work in the field while getting your degree? just so you can have a feel for it to see if it’s something you would def want to pursue. I know sometimes you can’t but it’s always nice to ask and find out. I also think that degree would be good to have in the event you want to branch off and do other things you have that on your resume. ☺️ idk if i’m correct but it seems as though you’ll be doing more to help inmates so you probably won’t have much to worry about. I hope this helps!

I am a criminal justice major that is almost done. I applied for several jobs that asked for transcript and did not hire because I had not finished my Bachelors. So yes some criminal justice jobs require a degree. One job was Juvenile Probation turned me down because I had not yet graduated.

It would be helpful to take a or a few public speaking course(s) to gain knowledge and experience speaking in front of people and to gain confidence when you are fighting in court. The last thing you want is to lack confidence when presenting arguments.

I am currently in school obtaining my bachelor’s I started this fall so I have a ways to go! I am also pursuing a career as a CSI. I will be uploading actual college content on my channel really soon (filming in class, day to day job search ect.) I hope you stick around to watch!

@@josephb4086don’t spend too much on your degree. It’s some low costing school to complete your CJ degree. Don’t want to gain a bunch of college debt if you don’t have to.

Hey! first and foremost congratulations! I would definitely recommend a desktop/laptop of course so you’re able to access your courses, write papers, ect. depending on how many classes you are taking I would get either a notebook ( for each class) or a binder to separate classes and to stay organized A planner Pens and highlighters Headphones. And some folders in case you want or need to print out syllabuses, assignments, ect. a quiet area to study and do your work and a comfortable chair. online compared to in person is completely different but you got this! Stay focused take lots of notes and ask all the questions you need to. I’m rooting for you girl! let me know if you need anything. 💕

Hey! It all depends on what is required by the state you live in. Some states require you to have a bachelors or a hs diploma and some type of background in law enforcement (ex: police officer, court clerk, finger print technician, ect.) you should research your state’s requirements. Some would even hire you on as you are still enrolled in school. (as an intern) that could be helpful with getting your foot in the door. Hope this helps!
