No, use painters tape.

I think they sound pretty good in my Keychron V1 and that’s an all plastic case but everyone has their own likes on what sounds good

@@phrenictypes This is just from my view. I own an amazing salvation 60 and it sounds soooooo good with my tangerines because it has an aluminium case. Honestly, you may like a plastic case with tangerines but it just doesnt radiate its classic clacky sound signature it hides within itself. And that unique signature is only revealed on aluminium cases...one switch that is great with plastic or aluminium cases is the gateron ink black v1/2. They are ridiculously good but a pound more expensive than tangerines...

@@phrenictypesit’s prolly just your microphone. Cause tape mod and case foam would definitely change the sound to a more fuller sound. I think I can hear a slight difference in the alphas.

@@phrenictypes buying a syringe of lube off kinetic labs, to inject lube directly into the stab for fine tuning - also tx stabs are really good

I just got 1 mm foam and you can try just that to start and then add more if you want / if it will fit, their is a link in the description for the foam I used

I didn’t do a great job recording the difference in the audio but their is definitely less rattling noise and feels a lot better when typing
