Exactly. Always tweaking when there's available time - yep it's best to play with mouse and keyboard, I do think gamepad is difficult (you can still use it if you like), especially the game's leaning toward higher difficulty.

Thanks for the interest! the early access will probably launch in the 2nd or 3rd quarter of the year with the first chapter of the game if everything goes smoothly :) the project is relatively huge for a small development team like us so things takes time - if the early access goes well then we might be able to release later chapters faster hopefully :)

Thanks for the interest! we're doing our best to get things wrapped up for EA as soon as possible - a demo is still to be decided yet, due to the fact that we have tons of special mechanics and a demo's length might not even cover all the tutorials for providing the best experience representing the game in the best way possible. When you play the game, you actually pick things up bit by bit so it's a lot smoother and the pacing is so much better. But it might be still a bit too early to tell, in case we got some extra time and find a way to package a demo we'll be doing it :)

I guess is probably most big studios think this kind of directions are niche... lol most of them are looking for directions that allow them to maximize the range of potential audience... for me main stream games do feel a bit boring these years, that's one of the reason I quit my job and start something mysef. I just choose whatever I like the best - probably won't get a lot of chances making a game on my own, so I won't compromise anything lol Hope I can find my audience in the end, but what's important to me is always the journey toward the final goal 🙂

Yeah teaming up with a publisher hopefully it gets more targeted audience noticed :) I'm giving everything I have into this game as I have been willing to make it happen since more than 15 years ago. Regardless how the game performs financially, I'll finish this game. I think we have some really unique stuff that you won't find in majority of shooters today :) and the more I work on it the more I'm confident about the gameplay too :) whether people like it or not - I guess time will tell!

Graven has potential, I think it was basically put out and not finished.. That's not a point of a development issue it's their backers rushing the game. Not enough time in the oven..Teams have been using that older 3D realms engine which is fine. You need more substance, style is fine but you have to fill in everything else..

@@yuancui4305 , welcome!!! Honestly think your project deserves a whole lot more attention! Not a lot of games cover this particular type of grit and horror aesthetic, especially in the action-focused space.

@@PsychoRavager Yeah I'm really enjoy what I'm doing and literally making my dream game, but I do think this kind of theme is a bit nitch for the market, however I'm working with a publisher, hopefully they will bring the game more toward the public eyes~

Thanks! Hopefully, yeah at the current moment some publisher might be involved so things will get a bit more complicated, but also publisher will help on the marketing so after all it's a good thing.
