Closing Day At Snowbird
Skiing Snowbird closing weekend on May 27 2024. They could easily stay open till June but they closed for some reason. Didn't do anything crazy, just some straight airs off some stuff.

Skiing 1 Foot of Powder In May
Переглядів 3806 місяців тому
Skiing powder in may at solitude after a foot of blower powder. it was the best powder of the season which is awesome and also kinda disappointing. We spent the first half of the day skiing powder and the second half of the day we jumped over a tree. Filmed on a GoPro Hero 12

Late Season Cliffs And Powder
Переглядів 1,3 тис.7 місяців тому
Skiing Powder at Solitude and Snowbird in Utah. Watch till the end to see my crash at 40mph and break my helmet 😬. The snowbird day wasn't really deep pow, but still soft. The day at solitude was deep but there was a noticeable ice layer below the new snow. There is a possibility of getting more powder days in a couple weeks but the chances are low. What length do you ski the black crows in relation to your height / weight? Thanks!
@@uncledabob i am 5'11" 160lbs. My skis are 178cm tall but i purposely got them longer so that they'd last for 3 seasons. They still work perfectly though. I usually prefer the length of my skis reaching to my eyebrows but my skis currently reach to the top of my forehead
@@spencerethington Sweet, this is super helpful, thanks for the detailed answer. Just to be sure, you're skiing on the Black Crows Atris? What were you riding in your previous videos (lengths also)
@@uncledabob I am using the 2024 Black crows atris. are you talking about my older skis?
@@spencerethington Right, what you were skiing here specifically: ua-cam.com/video/I8Dt2SoNUes/v-deo.html

Hey man! Really like your videos!! Quick question (I am starting to want to get into some more advanced skiing), when you are going into that expert terrain, are you or is anyone you are with bringing any saftey eqipment with you? I am not sure when it is appropriate to bring that stuff with me? Again, great videos!
@@olivertodd5022 I never bring any safety equipment with me when I ski because I am inside resort boundaries. it is 100% necessary to bring safety gear if you are not skiing at a ski resort. If you are at a ski resort then it probably isn't needed because of ski patrol triggering avalanches before opening terrain to the public. It is probably a good idea to have it at all times though.

Yo man nice vid, I am curious though, I've been looking at buying some black crows but have heard that the build quality, specifically the top plate w the design often isn't great. How do you like them and have you run into that issue?
Glad you enjoyed! I love my black crows, I will probably keep buying them in the future because they are awesome. For me, the top plate does get plenty of scratches and a couple chips, but the bottom is usually very durable, I've never gotten a core shot on them. hope this helps
@@spencerethington Oh awesome thanks man!
Do you use the max lens mod or just have the fov at max
I use superview, which is the second highest fov. I don't have the lens mod either
Nice. Come ski with us at Solitude!
Nice!
Would love this video in 60 fps! Amazing skiing!
I accidentally exported it in 30fps instead of 60fps, then didn't realize it until after i deleted the project 🥲
@@spencerethington i feel your pain 😭 LOVED the video though!

There's a place in sweden called riksgränsen, its 120 miles north of the arctic circle, since its so north you can have powder days in june lol
that would be so fun to ski
Hey Spencer 😁my name is Ben Harris and I’m a big fan. I’ve been watching your videos for a while and would love if you could pin me. Keep shredding Spencer 🤙
glad you enjoyed!
Reupload! Was the thumbnail inspired by Henry Zakowski?
Yeah i reuploaded cuz the old one didn't have enough clips haha. didn't realize the thumbnail was like Henry's until after making it 😂
Have you also been watching unrailistic redbull this year?
