Wow, this is the best question I’ve ever had since I started YT. No….. unfortunately. I wish I could play NY or somewhere. But no choise. So that’s one of the reasons I started YT and instagram. I feel this kinda music is still alive and has some audience abroad. In Japan….. nope!!!!

Still, concerning the setup, allow me one more question: For strings, I am still wondering if you’re using 10s, 11s or 12s (as DAddario labels various of its string sets as ‚Light Gauge‘) - and respectively Bronze, Phosphor Bronze, or the DAddario Gypsy Stings EJ83? Your sound is rich and superb, I am longing to achieve a sound like this on a Dreadnought!

@ thanks! Ok, on this guitar I equipped it with EJ16, but now I prefer to use NB1253 Nickel Bronze Wound Light. I really like this one not only because Julian Lage likes it but it sounds more old style and a bit like archtop guitar, in addition, I think, it sounds more responsive and resonant in terms of string’s vibration, I mean, it has lower tension which enables guitars to resonate more. This is my opinion, as I’m doing so on everything concerning about guitars, “error and trail”, try everything you might think of, then find ultimate answer. However, to me, in the end, you will come back to ordinary things! Please let me know when you done with your trials!!!

@@old-fashionedmusic6606 Yuji-san. No. I just remember very little from when I was in Japan many years ago for a business workshop in Ebina. After the workshop, I went to Fuji-kyu Highland, and climbed Mt. Fuji. Beautiful country. I was a drummer in two (rock) bands, but always loved the sound and tones of guitars -both nylon (classical), and electric (archtops). I have one of each, and your videos (and with Hirofumi-san) are very nicely done. You both should make a CD, and get Yano-san to join.
