For me, I enjoy this version so much more than what made it on the record. I went to see them a few years ago in Tampa's Amalie Arena. I'm not sure if Joe had any type of machine/autotune help, but he belted this one out with such power mixed with grace, I was really impressed. The band seemed to do a hybrid of this demo and the original that night. They rocked all night, could feel the adrenaline flow through the crowd, and then Journey came out and everything ground to a halt. Journey picked things up at the end though and got the crowd going. I mean no disrespect to Journey fans, I enjoy them very much too, it's just the facts of what I observed.

Just discovered this version and like someone posted, this has Love Bites vibes. Whether or not it was on purpose, it's amazing how parts of songs influences another. As much as i like the album version, this version rocks harder! Imagine if Steve was still alive today.

This why I love Def Leppard and this should be done again but only Bass and drums and the guitar solos yet it's a cool way to hear the synths mimicking the guitar with the vocals

This one is great!! I stumbled on "live at oxford" 1980 on their official site. Sounded like they tried to dub in 8 modern guitars with those new guys, the timing wasnt good, and would make Clark roll in his grave.
