    Another great video! Two questions. Have you ever tried using a bobber stop to hold down your bead to the split shot? My other questions is, what size split shot do you use? Thanks for great content!

      @@rodericknelson8371 Never tried that. Don't see why it wouldn't work so long as the hole in the bead isn't too big. Mostly using a #5 split shot. 🎣🎣

    Insane to me how you're able to catch those fish so close to the boat..for me it seems like anything closer than 20ft the fish are spooked by my FFS and turn away almost everytime

      @@MrVuhuynh22 Appreciate the add. Right now I would look at Creek arms and ledges in that 15 fow range. If you have side scan use it to scan water in that range. You'll likely pick up bait fish and therefore also find the crappie.

      I normally use 6 to 8 pound braid, think I can feel the thump better, but if I could get by with 20 pound test, I wouldn’t loose as many baits.

    I tried the 8mm beads. They work great! Caught 12 in hour and half. Actually, it seems to slow the fall on my 1/16 oz jigs and helped me identify jig quicker. Great tip my friend!

    Really appreciate your videos! Couple of quick questions: Re: how you string your beas. Could you please show that sometime. Are you running line thru it twice from same end to create that loop? Why the 7.5' ACC Crappie Stick, instead of 8'? Just preference? Do you shoot docks with same pole, or do you down-size to something loke 6.5'? Thx again for all the great content.

    I've recently been direct-tying to 5-8# braid. The sensitivity is awesome but it's next to impossible to fish with in the wind due to tangles. It doesn't like spltshot either.

      @@ri-jm5tn I don't usually cast but rather pitch shorter distance so the wind isn't really a issue for me. Split shots are more challenging on braid. 🎣🎣

    I also fish with braid, I see you fish with 20 pound test mine is 6, but to each his own, I wouldn’t trade braid for anything, been using it for about 2 or 3 years now livescoping.😊

    I have the LVS 34. I have the hardest time finding my jig. Going to try the bead above the split shot. I mainly fish High Rock. Buddle Creek area. What are you running your gain at ? Really like your videos, thanks!
