Trail Kings

Приєднався 8 тра 2020
At Trail Kings we are all about family and sharing our passion of UTV trail riding. Trail Kings is focused on bringing value through explaining why we bought a product & providing feedback on the ones we use for our personal machines. We do this so you can better make decision on what products you want to buy for your machine and not waste money getting something that isn’t a fit for you. The focus for our Trail Kings Channel will be 2 main types of videos. The first type of video will be things I wish I knew about products before buying them. The tricks I learned while installing the products. I’m hoping this can save you time and help you decide if the product is right for your machine. The second type of video will be a Vlog style episode that will take you on our adventures to show you our experiences of laughter & those moments of “oh s**t”. We hope you’ll enjoy the fun shenanigans that happen along the way. Please Subscribe to follow along as our family journey unfolds.
Plan A is for overachievers!!!
In this Video, Travis and Doug look to finish the last item on the Pro R by installing the radius rod. Doug has a great idea to make removing the radius rod bolts simple that may or may not work out as planned. Stick around to the end to learn if this step will make this whole process easier. As always, please show your support by hitting the subscribe button.

Episode 7 - Enclosed vs Open Trailer: Which is better when pulling your Side by Side?
Done a loop around the USA in a SxS several times using the TAT and BDR’s - got the route plotted on LeadNav with every turn and gas stop… …around 10,000 miles and 43 or so days… …probably do it again this summer and you guys are WELCOME to ride with us….GOOD TIMES!
I have the same two batteries wired in parallel with a Polaris dual battery kit. I usually hook up my battery tender three amp to the primary and it used to charge both of them. Now the problem is these Odyssey batteries require a floating charge of over 13.6 V. Most battery tenders are around 13.2. Do you know what the float is on the Noco?
Enclosed for security and dryness, open for day trips so you can pull up to a self car wash place to clean off the mud and dust as easily as possible.
I live about 10 mins from Gilbert and that town is usually busy with trail riders. Riding can bond a family. I’m one of those stubborn locals who hasn’t rode the trails. Don’t really know any locals who have because we can go elsewhere and ride for free. Don’t know if u heard of it but Ritter Strip is a good place to ride and it’s free. They use to have free music and beer but too many drunk rednecks ruined it. But back on Ritter u have plenty of space and hillclimbs. They are stripping back on top of my dads holler which leads to Ritter and my uncle got cussed out because some out of state trail riders wanted to go through but they have the road blocked for liability reasons. He even told them how to go around another road and they was still pissed smh. Don’t know if u have tried it but if u are in Gilbert again they have some awesome pizza. Everybody calls it PizzaMingo but they renamed it Trail 12. Glad u got to see Mountain Momma and had a good time. Don’t know if u heard of Wilmore Dam but it can take u to Ritter. Be careful on those roads and trails my guy.
Never rode the trails and really don’t know any locals who ride them. We look at it like this, we have plenty of roads to ride for free so we ain’t paying lol. And I think the tourist are figuring that out and riding the trails u don’t have to pay for.
My secondary is stuck on my kids rzr170, any ideas to get it off. Tried kroil, a giant screw driver, then a pry bar, with an impact and it won’t budge. Tried hard taps with a 3lb mall as well.

Thanks for sharing. I am selling my open trailer and going enclosed. I need/want my garage back and I don't want to expose my ride to the harsh Arizona sun. I figure I can also store all of my gear in one spot. A lot more pricey but I get my garage back.

Would appreciate any suggestions. 2012 Polaris 800 Razor EFI hesitates at 45-50 mph. 45 is about 6350rpm. Not really a sputter or cough. Repairman just cleaned throttle body and fuel injectors and said idle air circuit was partially open causing a misfire at that speed. None of the work performed solved the issue. One person suggested the primary and secondary cluthes might be fighting each other. No idle issues. Need to get it fixed pretty quick so we can sell it and move, but I want it to be right. I should also mention that it has full power no issues 0-45. No codes, no engine light. Always at that speed only.Thanks. Appreciate anything.

Excellent video and very useful information. Well done Travis. Thank you for sharing your time, experience and expertise. Pretty new to the ATV world but now have my son's 2004 Polaris Sportsman 700 EFI twin and seems I'm getting exposed to needed repairs pretty darn frequently. Currently getting ready to replace fuel line from tank to filter, fuel pump, foil on fuel tank (don't know what purpose it serves but what's there looks partially missing), a couple of outer CV boots (or maybe do complete replacement of the axles). Most every bushing I can see is either cracked/hard or missing so plan to replace them as well. Will be changing differential, transmission and engine lubricants too. Sure hope I'm not taking on more than I can handle but thanks to youtube videos I feel pretty confident that this old man can do it. Thanks again for sharing.
2019 Rzr turbo s with dynamix eps stopped working and steering exclamation came on after power wash. Fuse is good, all connections seem dry. What else can it be?
Same my steering exclamation came on after I washed it, did you find out what it was ?
Great vid! Thx
Was this the icon you are referring to????... .it occasionally showed up on the last ride but has not come back since and was only on the Ride Command screen on our 24 Pro R and not on the speedometer screen..... it is a yellow icon with the ! just to the left of the gas pump percentage. This was out first time on the trail with it
You don’t average two spring rates in series guys. Think for a second, if you have one spring that’s 300 lb/in and press it against a wall you’ll feel 300 lb/in of force. Now if you put that spring up against another spring, it wi always feel softer than 300lb/in because the second spring is compressing some, even if the 2nd one has a higher spring rate. So two springs are always lighter than any individual spring. As another posted, the correct formula is to use the product divided by the sum for spring rates.
I live in Gilbert, very close to those “outlaw” trails that you guys were on. Even I had to follow someone to Wilmore Dam my first time, because they had been there before. Just “winging it” on these trails around here is just asking for trouble, and headaches. They constantly get severely washed out, or tree blocked. Local knowledge is everything. It’s honestly a miracle that things went as well as they did, for you guys…..
Your videos are awesome, headed to Hatfield and was tying to get your gpx file I clicked on your link chose Hatfield maps and entered my name/email but nothing came up after that. I’m sure I’m doing something wrong, can u help me out?
Funny how guys are, the haves and have nots, you go for a ride things will break, tools, parts, gas and most important the knowledge of how it works, some go with nothing but a phone to call for help. Enjoy the trail guys.
Hopefully you got a better recovery rope than just that strap!!
Where is the link to the Snorkel Kit ?
