@@fergal2424 oh man!!! Have a great time. You’ll have to check in and let me know how they do!!!
Thank you dear for taking us along. Can't wait what the LYXBAGS queen picked up Fend
Great video tour. Was there in 2009. What camera did you use to film?
This is on my GoPro9 !
This backpack is stylish, comfortable, and safe for commutes because of the hidden zips. It worked as a carry- on luggage, although the bag protruded a bit when I put it under the seat. I wish that it had a pocket on the flap for flat and light items like passport and receipts for extra storage space. Despite the limited pockets, I highly recommend this as EDC.
Totally agree! One more pocket and this would be a great EDC-er
St. Peter at 5:55 Too early for Jessica Tarot, No Mark Football statue, no Kodak man. Thanks for the vid! lovin 4k
The French Quarter is one of the best places on Earth to get shot. How.many dead bodies did you come across? Hope you wore a helmet? New Orleans is the filthy sphincter city of the World where the power whites still celebrate slavery with parades in the streets.
You forgot
I have this backpack and I wish Fjallraven would used a beefier bigger main zip maybe a no 10, and a softer shoulder straps. In rest its a very good backpack. PS. On the side small zipper I put a small carabiner to secure the zipper to the side compression strap.
How's the sole grip on slippery surface?
It's alright - I can't remember any particular incidents of sliding, but maybe not as good as much more expensive boots...but I have always trusted them!
Thanks for the great video. I'm interested in buying one but would it be comfortable at 33F-68F?
Hi! Yes it will definitely work for those ranges. You might even be a bit too hot in the 60s! But this is a great jacket. Many times this winter I threw this on just over a t shirt to run out quickly. Of course it’s more comfy with an extra layer between, but yeah it will be great for that. It’s all I bring now for real cold days! (Also disregard my deleted comment in case you got a notification about it, I mistyped in that one!)
@@181Days Thanks so much for the reply. It was a shot in the dark on a year old video.
TGV 44😅
Nice review! I just ordered one of these. Would you please link the info on the wallet you were using in this video? I’m looking for something similar.
I have a question- I just bought mine and there small tabs at the top of the zip on both side. You can pull them, do you have an idea what it tightens or does?
Great review and I love the bag❤
So 2 trains needed from Brussels going here next weekend
Hello✋👍👏
Hello.Privet✋👀👍
Great museum in a city that’s got a lot to offer
Interesting method but seems to work quite well!
Very nice ❤
I have the same bag but in the Xpac version. Call me superficial, but I liked the orange interiors better. I'm a very short woman. only 5 ft. and found this backpack very comfortable while wearing it. But when it is fully packed, it can get a bit heavier than I like when you're putting it on or off. however, the excellent harness system takes a lot of that load off and doesn't feel heavy once it's on my back. During my flight, a flight attendant told me my bag might be too large to fit under the seat, but at the moment I had it standing vertically because I was taking out my headphones and iPad. Once he saw it DID fit under the seat, he gave the o.k. The zippers issue is solved by simply closing the bag's three compartments on a different side each. That way they don't get tangled or look too clustered.
The "shoulder pulls" are usually called "load lifters". "Chest strap" is usually called "sternum strap". The "side straps" are "compression straps".
Thanks! You taught me something today!
Great video!
Thank you!
Thanks. Out of interest what month was this?
Hi! It was March!
They need bring back the Performance version of the Better Sweater
I agree! I got a new one and it’s definitely not as strong as the old one
Awesome!!!
Wonderful trip, thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed!!!
Nice hair bro
What the heck is a prayleen? You pronounced Neuhaus right, why not praline?
I would love to know how much can you crunch it down and pack it small?
It packs down flat if you fold it over itself! I can usually fit this in between the sides of my carry on, like sandwiched in the middle.
I have just got this jacket after reading a lot of reviews about it. I am a bit disappointed. It doesn't breathe at all. I start sweating in a few minutes, even when just walking in -2 C. Cannot imagine climbing somewhere with backpack wearing this jacket.
Sorry to hear that! It is certainly a warm jacket, but it has kept me cold on some seriously cold nights too, so I guess there is a balance
You can wash the factory wax off in a washing machine to make it breathe way more. At least I know it can be done with the non-padded pants.
Is the chest strap removable?
I don't believe so!
Just got one and couldn't agree more about the zipper. I'm also having a hard time zipping it on first try but I guess I'll get more used to it over time.
You will! I’ve definitely gotten used to it (this jacket goes everywhere with me now). I’ve noticed two things. 1) if you hold the little space at the bottom of the left side and just pull the zipper (not with any crazy strength but just normally) it seems to “catch” better. And 2) when I pack this and zip it up to fold it I just hold it upside down and connect the zippers. Silly, but easier haha
@@181Days Good advice here! Thanks a lot :)
Nice! I'm going to Nepal in 15 days, I'm about to get these. Hopefully they'll be suitable for a bit of snow in the north (not extreme snow), plus the dry areas in the south with around 23 Celsius.
That's awesome! Have a great trip, and let me know how the boots work!
Update of the shoe in nepal?
I used this boot in mud , 10 cm of snow , and they are VERY waterproof but the are even transpiring the sweat I use this in summer winter and mid season. Is an awesome product
@181 Days In Belgium How’s the Jacket holding up so far 10+ months after making this video??
Hi! Surprisingly well. I take this thing everywhere with me, throw it in the bottom of a bag, or lately just sandwich it between the sides of my carry on because it compresses well and it shows no damage or wear at all. It’s really great! I just brought it on a trip with just my Patagonia sweater in 28° weather and it was perfect
Hi, I'm travelling to France for a month. I hear it hit -2 degreed C there today. I have a few merino baselyers that i'll use too. Should this be enough for the winters in France?
I was just in -2° and wish I had this coat! I think with base layers you would be fine!
Just bought a pair here in the UK for £50. So pleased now I have seen your review. Off on my first hike with them In 3 days!
Nice!! Hope you enjoy them. Let me know how it goes!
how'd it went?
@@giovanissimoadam so far so good thanks. I thought I detected a slight leaking of water into the right boot toe area but needs further investigation!
@@garethcumming667 i’ve been using them in the oriental dolomiti in italy for intermediate trekkings and trails and they’ve been pretty good
Another question: I’m normally a medium. I’ve seen people comment that they order a size down, what do you normally wear a jacket?
I’m normally a small and I bought a small. I’d say it fits me perfectly and leaves enough room for a fleece or sweater under it with no problem, or fine by itself. For me, I think a size up would hang off me!
Great video. Does it come waxed? Any issues with the wax washing in the machine on hot?
It does not come waxed! I haven’t tried waxing this one so can’t speak to how it machine washes. You might love some breathability with this if it got waxed!
Thank you for doing this review mate. I’ve had these in my basket a week or two and this review has made my mind up. Im going to get them now. This was a big help so cheers buddy. 😊
Thanks for the comment, that makes me happy! I’m doing some work right now with some thick steel toe boots and really wishing I could wear the Quechuas instead. You’ll love them!
@@181Daysyou’re welcome mate. Well I already got the boots and have worn them on my hikes. I bloody love them. Did a half size up so they’re mega comfy and so far haven’t leaked in any 👏🏻 So thanks again for the heads up. They’re a brilliant pair for the price.
Love to hear it!! That's fantastic! @@mj-cd9lk 😄
I like the jacket but the length is a problem, it's too short. It doesn't cover your backside and the sweatshirt you're wearing underneath can also show at the bottom.
It definitely can happen if you have a longer sweatshirt, you’re right. I do like that it’s a little extra longer than most though
How tall are you?
@@branton957 6'2/187cm. I bought a large and the fit was great, just a bit too short so I returned it.
5'9"!@@branton957
I went there with my late father a few years ago. Wonderful place for those who like seeing real military equipment up close.
Agree! It has a crazy large collection!

What color is yours? Black?
That is the Nickel color and believe it or not I just lost it in an airport! I bought the new “stone wash” color instead of nickel again. Both are nice!
Thank you so much for the video.. 😊 I think I'll buy one for my trip to finland this december. Do you think It's warm enough for -15 C?
I think if you bring another layer under it, something somewhat warm it will be a good outer layer, but that’s cold!
Just bought one! Thanks for the video
Hope you enjoy it!!
Adding Greenland wax will NOT make any of those resistant jackets waterproof, just more resistant.
Good to know!
