You are right about supplements; however, even meat eaters are deficient in the same nutrients. We use a raw vegan iodine from Peak Performance. It's from organic kelp. I am disabled from a progressive neurological disease that causes different organ systems to dysfunction. My gastrointestinal system is particularly affected. I had to stop eating red meat because of it many years ago. Now I am lactose intolerant. I have depended on beans, peas and lentils (with rice) as my protein source for most of my life. Learning about lectins and phylates recently, I think I know why my vitamin and mineral levels have been off- a lot! Where I live, we eat those things every day and we don’t do anything but a single rinse before cooking, and sometimes not even that. I am washing and soaking them meticulously now. It wouldn’t be a problem for a normal person but I am far from that! 😁 Thank you for posting videos that are invaluable for people like myself. Nearly everything I have learned about being vegan has come from watching UA-cam videos, reading the comments and then researching what I have learned. I have always wanted to be vegan because I don’t like the way animals are treated in the food industry, plus that industry doesn’t respect the environment. With the challenges of the illnesses I have, it wasn’t practical. Now it is mandatory! Thanks again!

Yes, any nut, seed, or legume can irritate the gut lining. Soaking raw legumes overnight and then sprouting them is best. Eating them sprouted and raw on salads is the healthiest way to eat them. Water should be fine to soak them, but a splash of lemon juice helps. So sorry you have a severe case. That can’t be fun. We appreciate you watching!

I've found a Minimum of 30 mins twice a day Really helps.. be sure and Drink plenty of Water while Grounding and pour some on the ground under your feet if it's dry there.. would Love to hear someone in my neighborhood playing the Cello outside.. 😊
