How long does it take for a scolopendra Galapagoensis to grow into an adult?

Okay so can anyone back me up on this? But of all the Dehaani color morphs orange legs are by the friendliest dehaani out there. I had an orange legs and he didn't bite me once ever, in practically every Dehaani handling video it's mostly orange legs, in a lot of the groups I'm in people who free handle Dehaani always are holding orange legs. Anyone else notice this or just me?

So I have a question I own a Dehaani. Orange leg variant and I've owned him for about 2 weeks now. I've been free handling him quite a bit at least for 10-20 minutes a day, he cleans himself on me and once started cleaning himself while I was in the process of picking him up. He eats super good, has 0 signs of mycosis either. He's not super fast, he moves at a decent speed but not super fast. And he's never once tried to bite me. He's incredibly placid and calm for a Dehaani. Do you know why this is? Sometimes he itches his head with his legs but has no parasites. Idk I mean I think it's unusual how mellow he is for a Dehaani. He very very very inquisitive and has to investigate literally everything. Do I have a tame centipede or do you think something is wrong with him? He acts perfectly normal except for having 0 aggression and doesn't speed around like a bullet. Hes definitely not sluggish or slow

I was always wondering if you can handle them. I know if I had them as a pet I would try haha. Thanks for explaining.

I know this video is old as hell but I’m doing my research on getting a centipede, but my question is could you put it in the fridge or freezer to make him go to sleep like all other insects?

I've got a yellow and an orange. My orange leg is extremely chill I want to try it. I handle all my Tarantulas including pokies but the pedes still scare me lol

I don’t know that water is that great…..I think I would rather use CO2. If you only use it for 5 minutes, the centipede will come around after a couple of minutes, long enough to sex it without drowning it.

is there any chance of them drowning/ recommended amount of time to submerge them for?

The way he handled these centipedes straight out of the container after being shipped and surely uncomfortable is a huge sign of confidence and knowledge. I’m new to the hobby and could never. I heard these guys are always angry, and if they’re not, it doesn’t take much to tick them off. Props to you, brother, and thank you for the videos!

Really awesome man. I've only had the Vietnamese Giant, and it died during the molting process - or so I think. But it's really amazing how used they've become to your touch. I remember mine being almost hyper aggressive
