Titan Overdrive (On Sega Magic Drive Pro(China clone))

Titan Overdrive (On Sega Genesis 2)

Time Trax - Briefing (Tim Follin) (Sega Mega Drive)

The music from the prototype of game Time Trax, which has long been considered hopelessly lost. This is the only game for Sega Mega Drive, for which he wrote the music Tim Follin.

Temazo
i'd love to know what settings tim follin used on this game since they all sound really good
i got them
This is such a crazy good track. I keep coming back over and over, just to get my mind blown every time.
Listen to waterworld dive snes you not gonna regret it
@ oh wow! Thanks for the tip, that track was A-MAZING!!! I didn’t know the snes could sound so GOOD! (Well, I did because of donkey Kong country, but you know what I mean)
@@FredrickCarlsson YE SIR 🗣️🗣️
God i wish i was born earlier. Far earlier. i'd have loved to have tim and geoff to play at my wedding. Especially something as sick as this.
Nice.
So, this guy can make good music for the Z60 (or whatever it was), the C64, the NES, the SNES, and the Sega MD. What else?
@@thatviewer-4142 *for the Z80 ;)
@@SinedKMK Thanks! Also, nice response time! Especially since you posted the video 11 years ago.
@@thatviewer-4142 Follin also wrote the soundtrack for PSP, Dreamcast, PS2. He now has his own studio Baggycat, which has released: Contradiction: The Interactive Murder Mystery Movie and At Dead of Night.
@@SinedKMK Wow... That's impressive. Really shows how far you can get from simple beginnings. Even though I wouldn't exactly call that "whole bunch of instruments on one beeper" a simple beginning.
RIP.
Fun fact: the Mediterranean sea is dry in this image
HOW DID HE NOT RELEASE AN ALBUM OF HIS GAMING OSTS
lol is the breafing typo fixed? nice.
the bass sounds alot like i feel love by donna summer ua-cam.com/video/nTNcCKq6V2c/v-deo.html
follin casually making the most rad ass music without ellaborating further what a chad
giving me chills
3:20 This is an pictionary reference ?? Song please
Incredible
The bass is really impressive, you can see in an osciloscope how tim basically clipped the waveform to create a great sounding distorion effect. This is some next level stuff for FM. He was very adapted to every hardware he worked on.
this game isn't lost anymore btw
This is my favorite Tim Follin track alongside Akrillic
That someone could make a groovy this smooth, this tasty, this raspberry preserve JAM on the god damn Genesis soundchip is a work of legend and myth.
TIM FOR THE LOVE OF GOD YOU CAN'T JUST COME, MASTER A SOUND CHIP AND GO.
breafing ): where did it go it was my favorite
To think this came out of a genesis sound chip. A chip notorious for sounding like ass in most cases.
Im pretty sure you can hear a part of the solstice main theme at 2:00 until the end (i am horrible at music so maybe im just hearing something thats not there)
@SinedKMK download link not working :(
So interesting how it always sounds nothing like the console it's composed specifically for...
Commenting 1 year later, still good
0:50 so dirty, MMMMm!
Smells like cognac
Tim Follin can bend any sound chip to his will.
5/4 banger
Gussin'
Man, the first 45 secs of this sent my head jamming all the way to Saturn. Holy fuck such a smooth composition...and the rest of the song is such a banger too!
You spelled briefing wrong, hehe.
Thanks for the feedback =)
screaming crying pulling my hair out scratching all of my skin off.... definitely going on the nut playlist
😭
Hope your happy then plok bud, I wouldn't be if I was your nuts
That organ actually resembles a Hammond organ somewhat.
Knxwledge
It has a little with the Plok boss music.
3:00 was is just pictionary moment tim!!!!
Listening this piece of high art free feels wrong follin brothers should make live concerts
I gotta say we miss those TVs. For gaming only, I still prefer watching shows on our big modern screens.
Sure, old CRT TVs for retro games are the best
huge epcot vibes
Tim Follin's remarkable compositions truly leave me breafless.
PERO BRO
He hecho chistes peores, @@Gatito_23, supéralo.

>walks in >masters a console and makes the best music imaginable with it >leaves Tim Follin

Pier Solar é um dos jogos com trilhas memoráveis, tanto no cartucho como no CD.
“See ya, folks.”
the maestro. like Koshiro everytime he composed these 8 bit or 16 bit epics, it was like he strapped the infinity gauntlet on to maximize the system's sound power. i can't think of one composition he ever did bad for any system, which is sadly lacking in my videogame experiences these days.
This song evokes nostalgia in me that I never knew I had.
Sounds like a SONIC level
I used to watch the show,,, never knew there was a game for it,,, sounds like the roller coaster levels in DKC2..
The Genesis version was cancelled, though I'm pretty sure the Super Nintendo version was released
