Government of Technocrats as a Solution for Peace and Stability in the Republic of South Sudan
This is a recording of one of several contributing to a one-day conference on the theme of ‘South Sudan at the Crossroads, Election or No Election - What is the Prospect for Real Peace for South Sudan’. In this recording Ambassador Emmanuel Ajawin presents: Government of Technocrats as a Solution for Peace and Stability in the Republic of South Sudan.
The conference was convened on Saturday 2nd November at St Antony’s College, University of Oxford and was organised by The Sudanese Programme in collaboration with the Middle East Centre, St Antony’s College and the South Sudanese Community in the UK. We organised the conference as a hybrid event, with participants (speakers and audience) able to join us in person or online through ZOOM.
Dr Ahmed Al-Shahi, Dr Richard Barltrop (Trustees of The Sudanese Programme) and Professor Laurent Mignon (St Antony's College) chaired the conference.
We are grateful to all conference participants who kindly gave their approval for their contributions to be included - everyone was given the option not to be included and to let the programme organisers know if they preferred to opt out.

I can say that you are a Political historian for South Sudan🙏
Thank you for the presentation.
Wait 'til you dig back to the pre-colonial era and discover the use of violence, demographic engineering, native administration, divide-and-rule, and civilisation discourse was used then too.
What utter nonsense. These people are just freeloading wasters, as are the liberals supporting this.
This's my few comments.
You are right, South Sudan is country. @) In my point of view; they want to distroied people tribe's and caltures. And, @) About the state's, everyone has/had His/Her origin birth places. @) His God creates each an individual's right and protect with the plan and purchase to lead, rule and to control ans management their own wealth.
