Glock 26 Gen 5 MOS, a Better Sub Compact.
The Glock 26 is a classic pistol, and the current G26 G5 MOS made it an even better firearm. Arguably one of the best guns for concealed carry of all time. #tarantactical #surefire

Glocks = still the best, CBP got it right.

Glock still takes the throne for handguns. Customs and Border Protection, (Border Patrol,) recenty picked up a suite similar to this. The next few vids will go over my Glock 26, Glock 19 and Glock 47. All Gen 5, all MOS. Comparible handguns I've tried, (likely more but for the sake of rememberence): RUGER: LCR (.38) LCP (G1) WALTHER: PPK PDP c CZ: Shadow 2 c SIG: P365 320 M17 226 226 Legion SAO...

What holster and belt are you running with your G26?
Love it with the dbal d2
Thanks, helpful info
What optics plate are you using?

Where you get the grip tape??
Rogue fitness, it’s goat tape
I’ve got the gen 3 now can’t wait to get the 5
Shit if a Ranger and a couple SEALS advocate for it, that’s a damned good reason to give it a shot. I always avoided it because in my head I pictured it being uncomfortable, but I guess we can used to anything if we practice enough.
Will a glock 19 gen 5 performance trigger fit in the gen 5 26?
@@GoToSleep-i4z idk about the performance trigger but the G5 19 & 26 trigger are the same.
@@REDSTRIKE175 thanks I been trying to decide on the 26 gen 5 mos or the 43x mos I already have a Glock 19 gen 5
@@GoToSleep-i4z 26 is the better option if you already have a 19 imo.
@@REDSTRIKE175 okay bet that's what I will end up getting then especially since it shoots as flat as the 19. And it conceals really good
How do you get a hold of this company they dont pick up phone don't answer e mails they ignore messages on the answering machine. Can they even be trusted 🤔
No idea, care to share the issue in question?
Where you get that grip tape at tho?
@@allenguerrero7696 It’s goat tape. got this from rogue fitness to troll fat dudes but you can get it off of Amazon too. Works better than hockey tape and grip tape imo.
Glock is the only one who actually have the RIGHT grip angle for shooting handguns fast and accurate.
I agree
please keep making more videos. We need this End user shit videos to get us away from the Goobers bullshit
I have a few coming soon, I also take requests so if you want anything specific…
Magpul 12rd mag is a good balance between capacity of 12 rounds and concealability of 10rd mag
Oem 12 rounder in the video..
Why is the TLR6 a piece of shit?
@@serapheogen Piss poor light output, laser that won’t hold zero, wonky attachment method and batteries = not worth the added bulk when you could just carry a flashlight.
small pad looks like the ones that came with the gen 1 storm
Might be, they’ve been around for a few decades now
Thanks so much for the video my guy also love the omega real 007 vibes ❤
Glock 26 is peak glock. Shoots like a much bigger gun
Had the Glock 26 Gen 5 MOS for few months and it's my favorite carry gun hands down. I shoot the 26 better than my 19 so absolutely love the 26 .
*What brand Toaster Oven is on the G19? I think I could fit a frozen pizza in it no problem!*
@@UncleFjester aimpoint acro p2, solid so far but we’ll see how many pizzas I can get out of it
Subbed. I shoot my 19 halfway decent and will definitely pick up a 26 at some point. Good to know the TLR6 sucks.
It compliments the 19 perfectly, it’s all in the ecosystem
Nice, I love my 26. Think I might get the MOS version at some point. Also have the 43X, which feels great in the hand and is more comfortable to carry, but I shoot it worse. I might trade it off, just keep my LCP Max for those true “deep carry/max comfort” days, I guess
Always a give and take deal. As for myself, I can shoot much more aggressively with the 26, and I don’t feel “outgunned.” The LCP is an excellent pocket gun that doesn’t try to be something it isn’t, like the 43 etc.
Get the lasermax gripsense for your 43
Even worse than the TLR6
Best piece of kit here you didn’t mention are the darn tough socks!
While I agree, One Hundred Concepts came out with a light cap.
Tape exists too and it’s still not good (although as good and cheaper than a light cap.) 100 concepts is a bunch of goofball airsoft kids designing shit that will 150% go out of place the second any true assaulting or moving through harsh terrain occurs.
Solid. Good to see you posting again.
Appreciate the support for sure!
can anyone reccommend a mid ride glock 17 p80 holster for left handed shooters
I’m not really familiar with any of the P80 stuff, assuming it’s compatible with Glock holsters, Safariland ALS series, or if retention isn’t needed the Blade Tech classic line has always been solid for me.
I have bad experience with ACRO P-2. All of my units manifested some particles/debris on inside glass.. I got rid of them.
Have about 4k on the 19, maybe 800 or so on the 47. Haven’t had any issues yet but will be on the lookout. Hoping some of that was growing pains.
Great Video, I only trust Glock and Sig 365 (not a 320 or 220)
Appreciate the support, and yeah don’t blame you one bit lol.
Great video! I trust my Glock, I don't trust others. Can't wait for more!
Hello again! Any plans on doing more videos? Or be on other social media? I think you have much to share :) Also curious about your philosophy on kit setups, like rifle, belt, plate carrier, bags, training and nutrition, etc.. Btw I got offered a surefire 300 and modlite, not sure which one should I buy. What were/are you running and why? Thanks again!
Hey dude hope all is well! Yes I am, I was actually a K9 handler at the tail end of being in 1/75, and ended up adopting one of the pups, has some PTSD issues so put everything on pause for a while but here soon I’ll have something more refined and a bunch of new stuff. Everything relevant for fighting dudes or guys who just want to be realistically prepared. As for the lights, I run a lot of the IR Surefire heads but I have a modlite (PLHV2) and it’s pretty knarly, power of the sun for sure. I’d say whichever is cheaper though and fits what you’re doing. I’d personally be fine with either.
Have you upgraded helmets? If so would you sell this maritime?
Still running the maritime.
Have a surefire vampire setup on mine, was wanting to go pressure pad out of preference. When would you recommend actually swapping to white light in a situation? Would you have it switched off for home defense? thanks
Definitely would have it on for home defense, off is really for external movements, anything where white lighting could be fatal.
A lot of people are huge fans of separation of white and IR. I wonder how much of this is a function of "what was available during GWOT", vs how they would have formed opinions and SOPs if they had 2024's commercial market, UNITY, Cloud, light caps, etc. I remember when Surefire's saying was "no clickies in combat". Clickies used to be such a no-no.
Asking all the right things, and I’m sure to a degree things would be different, as obviously guys are running everything and anything under the sun now, but I will say just anecdotally I’ve had issues with unity taps (and some similar systems) particularly with flickering and power draw issues. Some of the clicky stuff seemed to stem from older SF tail caps and pads having power draw issues as well. That being said I think it’s largely a non issue, it’s just my personal preference that if I’m using a pad the head can be rotated to off. More of a me “ism”. Minimalism is also a trend in a lot of these areas, some guys want that very deliberate action of activation via cap etc.
what pressure pad do you use for a peq
The one it comes with, just a standard L3 Atpial pad.
Interesting. I see You’re using paracord to attach the sling. How/were have you attached rear sling part and whats your Overall philosophy of rifle sling attaching? (What, where, how and why) Thanks! Also, If my barrel is longer than my handguard, would you still recommend 300 or then 600 would be better because of the “shadow”
So I’ll make a short on it, but I almost always have a loop of paracord tied to the gun, and then clip in with a magpul paraclip. On the rear I either direct mount to the opposite side of the stock, or have a 550 loop on the sling I can girth hitch to the stock. On the front I like the sling to usually be just behind my hand placement on the weapon, off just enough to not make contact with my hand.
As for shadow, I think it’s a bit overblown. I don’t like much more than the light head extending past the end of the rail if I can help it…as you basically just cantilevered it, which can catch on doorways etc and snap the mount or jack shit up.
This is very interesting and helpful. Thank you for the fast reply. I hope all is well for you.
@@REDSTRIKE175What’s your opinion on risers? Like 1.93” unity/scalaworks for example?
@@danielney6so I gave them a fair shot for about a year, 1.93 and 2.25 etc, both red dot and LPVO and there’s a few reasons I’m not a fan. Lack of consistency on the gun being my biggest complaint. (Always ran 1/3 height while in and still do.)
FWIW, my T2 came with an opaque front cap and a clear rear cap - just like the Duty RDS. I bought my T2 new from Aimpoint direct in 2021.
Good info thanks for sharing. (kind of what I want the point of this channel to be, information sharing)
Can you do a video on your Rattler setup, I’m going to buy a Rattler soon and it’d be nice how you set up your Rattler. I’m looking for some sling mount, light and I will be putting a Unity Fast mount like the one you have with a Holosun (aimpoint) with the ACSS reticle. Thanks! 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
Hey man yeah, have a whole weapons series planned for this year. As of now the Rattler is setup with an acro on a scalaworks 1.57, geissele trigger, Sig Kate Moss, Surefire 340v pro, PMM bad lever, reptilia grip, 550 cord sling attachment with ESD MCB sling w/ Magpul paraclip and Sig SRD 762 QD suppressor.
I can get either the t2 or duty. Resilience and longevity are the premises of my build. Do you think one is tougher than the other? I like how the duty is streamlined, but the buttons make me wonder what would happen if the rubber tore off.
T2 has the proven reliability, that’s where I’d lean
@@REDSTRIKE175 Just bought it, lol.
What are the bags you have on the side and how do you have them mounted?
They’re plate bags with mag pouches on the outside, it’s LBT
@@REDSTRIKE175thanks!!
I will pay 💰 you to teach me rifle fighting basics in the woods and stalking and Rangers Creed and things that can become useful in a gunfight I bring my own rifle and gear I just need space and a teacher. Dead ass! Thanks for your service just subbed
I know you touched on this briefly but Does the unity magnifier mount line up well with a 1.93 mount? Using an rds. And how does a unity 2.23 with rds match up with the unity magnifier? Thanks
Should line up fairly okay, I had a unity mag for a short time and it seemed fine but didn’t have exact specs for lineup with the duty rds on a 1.93
I’m just a regular nobody and have always preferred the non switched lights. I find it easier to use
Cheaper too
I just tried to remove my pad to make adjustments to its position and the wires ripped out really easily on streamlight 😂 for sure dont use the pressure pad 😂

@@REDSTRIKE175 Yes, but the Marine Corps issued the Ds so I have to go up to bat for my branch.
lol I feel ya, go with what ya know is my logic
No ears?
Wear em with a headband
I see no reason to have a pad in civilian world where really only 3 out cones using weapon. A. Home Defense B. Someone attacks family/rob while out (pistol would be most first tool, C. Public mass shooting & you actually decide to run in 99% would not even think about going to help others.
Def situationally dependent and personal pref. Whatever can help you get that light up and quickly is fine by me
Hey man apologies if I missed it but can you elaborate more on the Avs such as your experience and others experience that you worked with? also the best pro of it and maybe the worst con. Appreciate it!
Yeah man will do. Have a new kit video coming soon, will go over it, but personally wasn’t a fan of the AVS nor were many in the org.
One hundred concepts light cap= no more NDs
What is your favorable setup running 14.5 or longer?
