10 minutes in, you seems to just satchel everything when you post it, why not just put the item directly to the satchel, skipping the clear plastic?
Good vid. There is this Chrome extension (not sure about other browser) called Text Blaze Snippets which can save a long sentence to a small keyword. In your case you amy have keyword of /used1 etc.
I like how you are hard worker
Helpful vedeo
My mom bought one kislux and she loves it. It had been there for over 10 years when she went out with it.
Thrifting with family: stressful Thrifting with girlfriend's mom: pro elite
It's surprising to me that things like Smartwool end up at the bins. The fact that it was at a Goodwill for weeks or months and no one grabbed it is weird. I get it has some stains, but it's still surprising.
Oh my gosh, you cracked me up. The estate sale sucked so bad so sorry for you.😅 At least you got a pearl snap
Dude, i injured my knee somehow 9 weeks ago. I have been limping along and struggling with this painful injury all this time. Needless to say i have NOT been able to source, photograph, list in all this time yet LAST MONTH WAS MY BEST SALES MONTH EVER, on Ebay & Poshmark. Go figure. Is there any truth to this myth that listing drives sales? Well im living proof there is. No listings in 9 going on 10 weeks and im still making daily sales and i only have 555 items listed.
What’s up, Big Yumbo. Love your videos I hope you keep having success. I got a question when you’re trying to move aged inventory how big of a discount do you find is effective to get it to move? Thanks for any advice. Good luck.
Yeah from what I have found ending and selling similar actually works, instead of marking stuff down I just go through the items and and adjust prices before launching. A markdown sale I feel shows buyers that the item is less desirable and from my experience even after you mark it down they just watch the item anyway waiting for an even cheaper deal. I have way more success with ending and selling similar. Ebay assigns a new item number even if you use the same photos and item specifics. They throttle your traffic when you hit a certain amount of sales to allow the sales to be distributed evenly between sellers in your store size and categories you sell in. Which is why if you list like more than two good items which should sell immediately only one or two sells and the rest sit there. Anyway you should take the time It's worth it, just remember to delete the ended items after relaunching them.
Awesome video!
Kuhl fell off I feel, except a couple of styles of thier pants. The most people are willing to pay usually is 30 or less and they take way longer to sell atleast in my experience since I started selling clothes 1.5 to 2 years ago.
Yeah. I agree.
very nice little collection. makes me want to do a similar video of my own collection lol
You should.
Whhaaaaatttt? My whole channel is dedicated to my Military Collection. You gotta give me a look. Great video and great collection. Nice to see someone else who loves the same items I do. Keep up the great work.
I know you. I watch all your shorts. Learned a lot from you. You need to post some long form vids and share that knowledge.
Totally agree and thanks for watching. I like the idea of long form but it’s hard to keep attention. Still, I do love to geek out about the items I have so I’ll consider the option. Thanks for the reply.
Happy Birthday you BALLER! Thanks for all the content.
Happy Birthday!!
2:15 This reminds me of a quote I read somewhere that said "if necessity is the mother of invention, then war could be its grandmother" I think it was talking about vehicles but it's cool to see it applies to clothing too.
I found a pair of 1947 Sateen drab olive pants. I wouldn’t have bothered with them if I hadn’t watched your videos. So thank you. Problem is that they fit me and I’m a middle aged lady. But I don’t want to wear them and maybe wreck them, and where would I wear them anyway? Kroger? The bins? But I can’t seem to make myself list them either.
Just keep em if you like em.
Sick wolf shirt
Brother if you want I can put together a list of materials that will help further your business ?
It would be no problem 🤌
It’ll help with the problems your having
hell yeah dude
Super cool collection. Hope the best finds are yet to come. Sick book too.
Great shit as usual dude. Is there any resources you could recommend online to learn more about military clothing and camo patterns in general? I live near a navy base and find some stuff but don’t have the knowledge base. Thanks as always
Yeah usmilitariaforum.com, estate sale relics on UA-cam and Japanese vintage instagram.
@@bigyumbo thanks man truly appreciate it
the ww2 trouser look like the early iteration on the p-44 that became the monkey pants
Thank you. I’d love to own some monkey pants.
I would bet there is a lot of great military clothing finds around Oceanside / Camp Pendleton. Back around 2008 I used to find a lot of Navy pea coats around San Diego. There was always a ton of military clothing available. You should make the trip.
Dude you must have been in the military in your last life. Seriously, you need to get that checked out.
So much fun! Whoohooo❤🎉
Thrift a Life, those eyes! 😉
this was a really cool vid. Its awesome to see how much innovation originates from military wear
thanks for the education!
Heck, most of EVERYTHING you use today was invented for the military first, not the least of which is THE INTERNET! Canned foods, GPS, sunglasses, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, stainless steel... the list goes on and on. Hell even maxi pads and disposable razors. We human beings sure do excel at figuring out new and better ways to kill each other.
I left 'Nam in '70 - we were supposed to turn all our clothing and gear into S4 (supply) but they really didn't care if you took some of the uniform stuff with you. I took some with me, but left most of it behind. If I had that stuff now, I could buy a car with what I could sell it for. Still got the Dress Greens I wore when I was discharged, though - that uniform will be in my closet the day I die.
Thank you for your service, Ralph.
I really would like to find a pair of fss wildland firefighter aramid pants from the 70s. I had a pair last year but they were too small for me 😢
I’ll have to look into those. Sounds cool.
I also regret selling my military grail. I had a pair of 40s navy denim dungarees. I got good money for them but I don't think I'll ever find something like them again.
No wayyy. That’s on my list.
GL on the 1945 Hugo Boss. Jk, any HG besides Tiger Stripe? I'll sell it to you for shipping cost if I ever find it. My coolest militaria find so far would probably be either the m-1951 alpaca wool hat (Korean war) or the M6 gas mask bag.
Sounds like a good deal. As far as holy military grails I’m looking for a Mitchell pattern “in country” jacket or pants and I’m looking for anything WWII frogskin . Some 40s USN denim would be cool too.
Super cool video!
I don’t care to sell any military gear. Unless it the Patagonia military pieces. I’ve only found one of those
That’s ok. I’ll take it.
The Military probably invented half the clothes you're wearing
@@zachariah7114 that’s fine. I just don’t care to sell it. This vid was still good to watch for education 👍
You should keep both jackets at 7:56. Anytime I've ever sold something when I had multiples that involved a hobby I always regretted it. Plus, if you really get into it then you'll be mad because the jackets are variations on each other. You'll want both to show the differences. Or, you have more self control than I do and you should just sell the duplicate. My advice also may not be the greatest because I definitely have collecting issues. Fuck...
You need to invent your own pattern called Yumboflage that makes you hard to spot in the thrift
I’m already invisible 😢
I felt like a mom watching their sons video. I don’t know what the heck you’re talking about but I’m proud of you.
Thanks, mom.
Ever find any Irish DPM? The DNC pants pockets dont hold anything too because they're meant to go over regular like combat pants
Never seen it. I find a lot of German and danish camo for some reason.
The last jacket with cool camo, i sold one like it few months ago for pretty good profit
Nice!
Are army navy surplus stores still a thing? I used to hit them all the time as a kid. Do you source there? I sold a cool ass slant pocket green one. Probably too low
They’re around and they’re expensive. I don’t source there. That’s cheating.
Sorry about my neighbors loud ass AC.
I feel ur pain
I’ve sold YSL ties, I think they are ok as long as you have the logo like you do. And that might be a repp tie-which is a kind of textured silk. Adding the keyword repp helps sell through considerably-takes it from bleak to dismal. But it does have value nonetheless.
I’d put the shit blazers in a lot.
Hey spiderman! :0
Happy birthday!
