    • @Madlikedasha

      @@originalparafan I’d say Cle de Peau, Clio, The Saem✌🏼 Cle de Peau is somewhat like those old lip pencils that stay even if lipstick disappears, will stay for the longest time, can survive some oily food and definitely any normal food/drinks Clio and The Saem are also strong but not as strong as CDP And then there’s Holika, which is “strong for a creamy one”, since it still can be wiped away but compared to the rest (they’re mostly like blurry cream) it’s on the stronger-ish side.

      @ Thank you so much, this is incredibly helpful! I’m on a journey with Asian beauty brand lip liners because I’ve realized the western ones we have here in America are all way too dark on me and they always pull orange, brown or too purpley! I’m noticing the Asian beauty brands have a lot of lighter neutral pinks, which is what I’m looking for!

    • @Madlikedasha
      @Madlikedasha 2 дні тому

      @ glad I could help! ❤️ With Korean brands orange undertones is also a thing to be wary of, but you’re right at least they have some really cute pinks AND there are just so many textures, one can always find something they’d like 🤗

      @@gonfreecss8753 the bright blue pigment washes off after around 3 maybe washes + treatment, and then turns plain black, but the cool pigment stays for a long time Unlike many dyes that fade into obviously warm brown this one keeps cool tone for a long time as for coming out completely, I suspect it won’t do it for quite some time. I redye every 4-5 weeks because my roots start showing but it’s usually still dark and cool toned, altho not pitch black anymore Hope that helps <3

    Please suggest something that works for closed comedones. Would love to know your skincare gems that works from Day 1.

    • @Madlikedasha
      @Madlikedasha 26 днів тому

      Hii, I actually had a lot of closed comedones before, so I can share my experience but for the actual advice I'd suggest a dermatologist because we are all different and causes of particular issues can be different too~ Basically in my case at first I got a prescription cream from a dermatologist, something like Differin but stronger, and that cleared mine up a lot, also I got them physically extracted so the cream basically stopped them from appearing again. So my 1st rec is to consult a dermatologist. Mine also told me that my specific issue was that sugar is a major cause of some of my acne problems so I started to restrict it, and still do. I notice that when I eat too much sugar I get baby comedones and acne so I keep it as low as I can. And my second rec is exfoliating skin well. Not sure what type of skin you have, but I have sensitive/irritation/everything prone skin and for a long time I didn't exfoliate properly because everyone says exfoliants are sooo harsh for acne prone skin and you should use only mild ones for my type of skin. (Not scrubs, but exfoliants specifically, because scrubs ARE harsh). Yes it's not a good idea to use either on bleeding cystic acne for sure but for closed comedones enzyme powders or products with acids might be an effective solution. There's a lot of exfoliants you can try, but you definitely have to try see for yourself which ones work. In my case enzyme ones help a lot, people say you can't use them every day but for me this is the only thing that can effectively exfoliate my skin. And closed comedones are technically a buildup of dead skin cells and other stuff so finding a good exfoliating product can help. But again all that said, it's important that you consult a dermatologist and try different products to see which ones work for you personally <3

      As for the skincare gems, I might do a video one day haha, but pretty much stuff that I keep talking about many times over and over is usually one of them, ppl are probably sick of listening about XD Things such as Mamonde Flora Glow mask or that Unove hair treatment, or my VT stuff

    • @cr0wdedteeth
      @cr0wdedteeth 25 днів тому

      hi!! not dasha but I'm someone who has struggled with closed comedones and VERY sensitive skin for a long time. When I say sensitive I don't just mean breakout-prone but skin that is reactive and will develop rashes, red itching hives, and just general redness and irritation very easily. I've always been interested and researched skincare as a hobby especially skincare that uses botanical based ingredients since my family has always been practitioners of traditional chinese medicine and kbeauty relies on a lot of plant extracts for their soothing qualities. For me personally nothing seemed to work long term though until recently when I consulted an acne specialist who does facials. I've since focused on two main pillars for my skincare routine based on her suggestions and it has really helped change the texture and eveness of my skin. 1. soothing care and barrier repair that is free from common pore-clogging ingredients. I've always used products that contained centella, aloe, and propolis because I've found them to really help the inflammation of deeper acne and irritation from harsh products and sun damage which made me scar less and help my skin heal quicker, however I began really making an effort to double check ingredients of products using an acne ingredient checker to avoid common known triggers for acne. Important to keep in mind that not everyone's skin is the same and some ingredients that break you out might be fine for others and vice versa! For me, shea butter, coconut oil, algae/sea moss, are my biggest acne triggering ingredients so I avoid them if I see them in a product and this has helped a ton to reduce new breakouts and congestion. A lot of barrier repair products also happen to contain shea and other emollients that often trigger breakouts so double check those especially! 2. incorporating low strength benzyl peroxide. As a teenager my mom, who knew nothing about skincare, gave me products that would contain 5-10% benzyl peroxide because they were marketed for acne-prone skin however it is an active ingredient that is incredibly harsh so my skin burned and peeled so bad and made acne worse for me and I was scared off from using that ingredient again but my esthetician recommended a 2.8% benzyl peroxide gel as it is a very clinically proven ingredient for fighting acne and doesn't have the same danger of exacerbating scarring like salicylic acid does in melanin rich skin. This has changed the game for me. Within a few weeks I began seeing my texture smooth out and the stubborn closed comedones around my jawline began to shrink. Speak to a professional who deals with sensitive skin often about whether this ingredient could be beneficial to you, and don't let people tell you it has to be higher percentage to be effective. I currently use the benzyl peroxide gel almost nightly mixed into my moisturizer so to make it more tolerable for my sensitive skin and i make sure to layer a soothing and hydrating serum before it to buffer the active and limit irritation. Once or twice a week I will mix the benzyl peroxide with a gentle retinol which helps to enhance the absorption and together it has made a huge difference! I currently make sure that I have plenty of barrier repair products I use to make sure my use of actives doesn't overwhelm the skin too much including choosing a very mild and moisturizing cleanser. Seven Thirty Skin is the brand that makes the benzyl peroxide gel I use and it is an esthetician-made line. There is also Biba Los Angeles who makes a benzyl peroxide treatment gel and Sofie Pavitt Face also makes a benzyl peroxide mask that is a short contact form for someone who wants to ease into using this active. These are all esthetician developed lines that focus on acne-prone skin specifically and I trust them to formulate products that balance efficacy with gentle supporting ingredients. Let me know if you have any other questions and I hope you find your answers to your skin troubles soon!

      Ngl, I chose it for the packaging first 👀 Lip swatches might come later in different variations, like the gloss alone and over pencils or tints etc

    I watched it with my friends in theatre and I def cried at the end TTvTT It is a silly movie for the most part but they do a great job at humanizing Venom. Thank you for the product reviews! Since your last video my skin has been freaking out so I cut everything out and trying to let it heal, but that means I miss trying new products so your videos are my way of living vicariously through you!

    Well now I want to watch Venom 3 😂 also I've never heard of anyone using eye makeup remover that way but that's genius!

      @@sererev it is not the most intuitive way I assume but I was soooo tired of always spending so much time dancing around with the cotton pad and then it takes more time to wash off the smeared mascara etc 💀
