don't spread fake information nepal lost every war from tibet
Thank you for this amazing documentary. IMHO, this guy, David the Builder, has earned a symphony from a certain Iranian/Canadian music artist here on UA-cam
Mago was badass
Good Stuff . ! 🗡🦾
It's very unlikely that David overthrew his father.
You know, I'm something of a bag rat myself

Islam is a poisonous ideology. They almost destroyed Saqartvelo, but thanks to God it still stands
Was watching UFC fight between Georgian fighter vs Dagestani fighting under Russian flag. Georgian won and i saw a comment: "lose of the Georgian would equal to second fall of Konstantine pole" 😂
Oh yeah that’s for sure, so many great fighters come out of the Caucasus
As usual you have natives helping the Europeans. .
Unfortunately yes
Good work 👌
Bro I’m about to listen to this while I’m at the gym…
@@طيرانالإمارات.الشركات ya know I mean it is pretty inspiring. Get those gains 💪
A man doing a greater job than him eventually becomes the equal as a job itself, and stoic historian is one of the examples of this, note it kartvelians note it
George V was the most influential king in georgian history His connections with the templar Order are very interesting Thank you.
@gigabarbakadze4703 indeed my friend chad Giorgi V having a plan for possible future crusade lines Giorgi's diplomacy skills and abillity to retake and unify collapsed state in that time was brave move
this is some serious stuff. it can be said that georgian history was 50% recorded by georgians ourself and 50% was recorded by foreigners. tihs thing you do is historical. i dont think i have seen creation like that about david even from us. Respect from whole nation to this video and the author. your name may be not know in couple years, but the video you made will be remaining forever. god be with you
you're enthusiasm for the history of Georgia is really heartwarming
Underrated king. Underrated video.
May god be with you, Stoic! thank you for paying attention for our little Georgia <3
remember times when we would spam 1121 under turkish posts..... golden age
Thanks for doing this Stoic Historian, king David IV was really one of the greatest strategist, general and monarch ever in history of monarchy from around the world...
One question: what got you interested in our history? Was there something specific that made you say, "These guys might have an interesting history; let's check it out"?
Well like most stories in the Caucasus start, one day I met an armenian, and that pretty much led the way
Cheers to you from Georgia, for your dedication and interest in Georgian history and also great quality videos!!!

Good list. I’d rather have Luis II below Luis IV. The latter managed to stay on the throne for good 18 years in 10th century after two non-Carolingian kings who held his father in prison. He could have lost more but kept the core of his realm. Leaving business to Hugh the Great, the Duke of France, wasn’t a bad way forward either. Hugh (the father of King Hugh Capet) was a capable ruler. Luis II was responsible for giving his realm out to powerful aristocrats in the late 9th century, and that wouldn’t be resolved for another 300 years. Luis III is much higher on my list despite loosing Provence to Duke Bozo. A son of hopeless Luis II, teenage king Luis III managed to defeat raiding Vikings in an open battle. No other king of France ever did it before or after. A few decades later Charles III the Simple simply invited a gang of Vikings to settle in France giving them the Duchy of Normandy under the condition that they would keep other Vikings at bay. Needless to say, dukes of Normandy and their descendants on the throne of England were a headache for French monarchs for the following 600 years.
no fact
My 23rd great grandfather.
Wow, very cool!

Sorry but tier list on Monarch's is crazy
It really is but here we arw
The correct spelling of the Spanish southern town is "Algeciras" and not Algericas.
🇬🇪❤️👍
Man, you are talking about a really interesting topic but hwo you finish you sentences just irritates me. Please listen to people telling historic stories and how they present information. Going up in voice after every sentence is just so annoying to listen to and doesnt make a good storyteller. Gl on your learning journey but i really cannot listen to the end of the video
George III was one of the most powerful monarchs in the history of Georgia and he certainly deserves to be next to David IV.
1406 came back and got him!with an 🏹
We have Georgian monarchs tier list before gta 6
@kesanekelaptrishvili1723 shit not adding up
The Jews were wiped out twice in Muslim Granada. There were also some unpleasant incidents in Christian Seville. If you see the miniatures in the manuscripts of the Cantigas de Santa Maria, you will notice that Jews wear a yellow star- a little feature introduced by the Muslims. Jews, Muslims, Christians- never got a long. Never. Throwing both the Jews (1492) and the Muslims (1609) out is what saved Iberia from being another India, or Balkans. That's the lesson. And we should study it well.
GReat material. Anyway you could dispense with the monotonous intonation?
Been trying all my life
So first of *"this all about The Virginians"* also known as the #planters_aristocracy back then why peanuts were so valuable back then i have no idea but also so too of course tobacco. This created in the hands of a very few an absolutely immense anount of wealth...something seen as *"wrong"* by USA Americans back then but in the hands of the New England Merchant Class *"two wrongs most definitely need to be made a right"* and so this would be giving New England access to credit to build ships but then through that make the Planter Aristocracy a people very much worth lending to something no one else would do ahem *"because of slavery"* ahem. This created a big time mess in Virginia tho as things that could never work got awesome amounts of capital whereas other matters such as horse drawn carriages got nothing despite working amazingly well. Solution? Move in to Tennessee. Problem? Tennesse opens up into upon the Great Plains something even more better than even Tennessee. Tired of being ahem *"enslave by America"* ahem which #irony made Texas somewhat anti slavery actually...solution? Found a Republic of Texas. This what not easy of course because Texas was part of Mexico back then #alamo would change all that of course 😊😊
Wow, actually I had no idea about Timur's curse, that's really damn cool. I suppose disturbance of the tomb unleashed Hitler, which is ironic considering Hitler's empire lasted about as long as Timur's and was genocidal in nature. And if you know Georgians you know how much we hate Timur. Just like how much Stalin hated Hitler XD
Distorting name's doesn't change history 😂😂

Sad that you didn't mention Afonso Henriques, first king of Portugal, in your segment about giant kings. While how tall he was is contentious, modern historians put him at around 1,83m, 6ft. The medieval chroniclers and Renaissance historians that measured his bones said that he would be around 2,00-2,20m. Around the 7ft range. Probably embellishment, we don't know.
Los portugueses sois very sad.
I wished he finished the reconquista instead of Isabella or Ferdinand
For some reason he looks like he has 3 faces at first glance
@@طيرانالإمارات.الشركات I see that now, maybe they did it on purpose to make him scarier, it’s a Russian painting so
Maybe he does have 3 faces and that's how he got out of stuff!!
U can say no that wasn't me, never seen anything like that, see I'm this guy, completely different!
