    Ok so my horse woody likes to get really speedy before jumps and he gets really close to the poles and usually knocks them. What can I do to help him not get as speedy and get a better distance?

      I'm sure we have some videos about that! I would suggest you to download our app, and then ask our coach (bottom menu) so help you with this. The coach should set you up with the correct videos for your problem. 🙌 It's free to use by the way!

    Sorry this is already an issue for me using hands and legs at the same time. I don't think America has come to terms with how terrible their English horsemanship is. America, your western is amazing. Your English your all delusional. English riding in America looks like a fashion trend for the elite.

    Please stop using whips and flags for familiarisation and desensitisation they are outdated and horses dislike them.

    • @mayac1438
      @mayac1438 9 місяців тому

      What would you suggest to use instead of that to be able to hold and correct/disensitise a horse with in groundwork? I'm actually curious btw cus i have a horse that would very gladly walk right over me sometimes when i try to get him out and it's hard to stop him since he's strong and i can't do much with a whip eithe cus he refuses to listen to it and it's very hard to use it when his leg and neck are littarly on me and he tries to walk over me. And then he just bites everything cus he's a nibbler hahah

    Hi I watched obe of your videos where you were helping a horse with his head carriage as the horse was coming into his fences with a very high head carriage! I was a little taken back when you told the rider to put a martingale on the horse rather than accessing the bit in his mouth first??

    • @RidelyApp
      @RidelyApp 9 місяців тому

      We can't take responsibility for that as it's not in any of our videos with Henrik. In Ridely we try our best to make sure the horse's welfare is prioritised in all videos we publish.

    BEAUTIFUL EXPRESSION!!! I must know though, how did you cue her to change her natural trot into the expressed one? I would like to work with my arab this way but don't want to confuse her prior to beginning. Meaning, I don't want to see what she can do and then switch up the demands on her. Do you have a video on how to train this properly and from the ground first ect ect???

      He mentioned he’s using half halts so the key is high quality half halts on a more developed horse because he is sitting the trot.

      Gareth goes into more detail in the longer version of this video. But he mentions using his seat and half halts to encourage the horse to use their hind legs more.
