Wauw
Ok uuh bruh BORING 😴 😒 🙄
So how?
If a horse is sad, it’s like if a man is sad
Sorry this is already an issue for me using hands and legs at the same time. I don't think America has come to terms with how terrible their English horsemanship is. America, your western is amazing. Your English your all delusional. English riding in America looks like a fashion trend for the elite.
Are those bell boots on the hind legs or does he or she really have socks on his or her hind legs?
There are no bell boots on the hind legs, just the horse's white socks 😊
@@RidelyApp Beutaful horse
And what breed is she?
Love it😂❤
This is great! So true. Wonderful instruction.
Day 2 of asking for free subscription please
Why does it look like you're kicking slot and lower leg not still ?
That was so smooth here I am struggling with walk to trot and a trot to canter traditions bc my pony is very lazy
Continue working on those transitions, it’s the key to cure laziness! 🙌 We believe in you! 💜
@@RidelyApp thank you!

But this is leg yelding... and the hands are blocking the horse.
Amazing✨🐴
I love using Ridely!!
So amazing, such a huge difference, but how did you do it
He goes into more detail in the longer version of this video, but in this video he mentions using half halts and his seat to encourage the horse to use their hind legs more. It takes time, practice and patience! 😊 The full 5min video is available in Ridely - app.ridely.com/en/videos/exercise/creating-expression-in-the-trot
@@RidelyApp Tank you
Shoulder in with the correct bend and into half pass. Easy!!!
I love this ❤❤❤
I’m downloading it rn 😮😮😮❤❤❤
Schuyler had a patience of a saint in the Borat interview. 😂
Most horses spook at NOTHING. Mine spooked at primroses
So absolutely heart-warming! Love it! How very special.
Please stop using whips and flags for familiarisation and desensitisation they are outdated and horses dislike them.
What would you suggest to use instead of that to be able to hold and correct/disensitise a horse with in groundwork? I'm actually curious btw cus i have a horse that would very gladly walk right over me sometimes when i try to get him out and it's hard to stop him since he's strong and i can't do much with a whip eithe cus he refuses to listen to it and it's very hard to use it when his leg and neck are littarly on me and he tries to walk over me. And then he just bites everything cus he's a nibbler hahah
Hi I watched obe of your videos where you were helping a horse with his head carriage as the horse was coming into his fences with a very high head carriage! I was a little taken back when you told the rider to put a martingale on the horse rather than accessing the bit in his mouth first??
We can't take responsibility for that as it's not in any of our videos with Henrik. In Ridely we try our best to make sure the horse's welfare is prioritised in all videos we publish.
Thank you
BEAUTIFUL EXPRESSION!!! I must know though, how did you cue her to change her natural trot into the expressed one? I would like to work with my arab this way but don't want to confuse her prior to beginning. Meaning, I don't want to see what she can do and then switch up the demands on her. Do you have a video on how to train this properly and from the ground first ect ect???
He mentioned he’s using half halts so the key is high quality half halts on a more developed horse because he is sitting the trot.
Gareth goes into more detail in the longer version of this video. But he mentions using his seat and half halts to encourage the horse to use their hind legs more. A lot of practice and patience, it's not usually something your horse will pick up on straight away! The full 5min video is available in Ridely - app.ridely.com/en/videos/exercise/creating-expression-in-the-trot

Yes that is indeed Verity! 🤩 She seemed very happy and healthy when we visited last year. 🥰
I dont ride but love to learn about horses and im pretty sure its 6 bettwen the poles so 12 basicly
Carl Hester i heard he owns Valegro the horse that inspires me so much!
Hi eseme
Really very informative and useful
What a brilliant tip, thank you.
Interesting and good insight. However, that's nowhere near what I would consider a lazy horse. I wish all 'lazy' horses were like this! 😂
Practice makes perfect! 😂
I like taking many lessons from your videos sometimes when I go horseback riding, I do it I don’t go horseback a lot, but I do sometimes remember the video and try to do it.
That's really helpful info to use with my lazy but spooky gelding. Thank you!
Wonderful video. I have two GP horses and this has been a problem for me. This helps a lot.
Very nice
Horse is like a man
Very helpful for me as I have an older horse who tend to be lazy until he’s well worked .I have fallen into the habit of nagging and this has reminded me what to work on to avoid it spoiling him THANKS
Yay! Let us know how you progress! 🚀
Well done!
But how doing with new horses?
It takes time to train cadence and expression into the trot. But you can start by incorporating half halts and your seat to work on engagement of the horse's hind legs. 🐴
Great to lose shoes as well x)
