Absolutely 💯. I am bringing out the ring light for the next one. I just spent so much time making and editing the vid and by time I realised it had turned out really dark, it was so late. I'm so sorry for that. I was toying with binning the vid altogether but six hours in, I didn't have the will. I have a short up of the swatch of the Lisa Eldridge medici in much better lighting and I linked my precious vid below, which also shows it in better light. I was trying to avoid the ring light as I love to film in natural light but I think it's a must now. Thankyou for commenting.

@@mirifiquebeauty please, absolutely nothing to apologise for. I would love for you to get the views you deserve. Natural lighting is sadly inconsistent and unpredictable. It's also very unforgiving.

If I had to pick between those ones you mentioned, I would go for Ashes of Roses as this is a neutral shade and can be worn on any occasion and Medici as this can also be an evening lipstick. I think Lisa is a bit too pink for me, and Romy is like a cool beige version of Medici. I hope you love your choices. They feel so nice on the lips. Thanks for commenting.

@ Thank you for the recommendations! I just placed my order- so excited. I ended up getting three since she did the discount with the refills which was nice. I chose Ashes of roses, romy, and lisa. I hope lisa isn’t too warm on me but I felt like I already have a lot of deeper cool berry-rose tones in my collection. Fingers crossed!

That's not good is it? I can't remember how mine came but the box itself was squished. It would be nice to have a mini Lipstick pouch with it so you can carry in your handbag without getting full if bag bits. Plus it is such gorgeous 😍 packaging. Good to know LE customer service are 👏 amazing.

I know. I think it's been widely commented on. I have a feeling they'll be doing a better one next year. So many brands now compete for our Holiday cash, they have to step it up next season. The two Chanel pallets i featured in this post are gorgeous. I'm happy i own them.

Absolutely 💯 agree with you. They are slowly becoming too main stream and are in danger of losing that status they once had. I have saved so much money this year because Chanel doesn't allow me to be inclusive of some of their collections anymore. Some have been good but they now need to ditch the over sized and just make smaller products with the ultimate luxury ingredients. Sadly, I think that's not going to happen. 2010- 2016 where their best years for makeup but that is obviously my opinion. Thanks for commenting 🙂

It's great that it worked for you. For me, as mentioned, I feel like it is just too big. If they had made an Eyeshadow quad without the orange, I may have been more interested. I think i have run the gamut with Chanel. I loved Chanel when Peter Philips was at the helm.

I'm not sure if you remember years ago, Chanel made cream blushers in a pan. They dried to a powder finish, and I still have the remnants of the one I bought, and it never dried out. It was lovely and I was expecting these to be similar, but they just aren't. I agree with the weird colours. It just doesn't fit into the classic brand, but I do understand that they want to attract different genres. At least I got to save a bit of money this year on holiday ranges. I just don't have that type of disposable income anymore to buy similar products with new packaging.

@@mirifiquebeauty I sure remember those blushers ..... I bought two colours and when I was about to buy a third back-up they discontinued them!! Rrrrrrr Like you - I thought they have brought them back but this new one is not great and nothing like those beautiful old ones! The new ones go on patchy on me and really not Wow for the $$ . I have only one thank goodness! The pink one as I have fair skin. People are going nuts for them but if they ever knew of those old ones that we loved.... Prices are going up and up and money is tight around the world. I have cut back a bit. Gosh its hard . lol You know.... if you re-visited your collection and put some on or even talked and swatched them it would be interesting to makeup loves like me! I think you would do a great "Will I buy it or not ?" you are not buying things but talking about the new releases and what you think of them . love from Australia !

@pinkroses8714 Yeah, they discontinued them so quickly, so annoying. I only got as far as swatching the new ones in the shop and thought they looked so ordinary. I have thought of doing a 'will i buy it', but I sort of hate those vids. Mainly because you get the influencers who say they won't be buying something and then they get it given to review and pretend they changed their minds. That annoys me so much. I may do a different take on that though !!! You've given me a better idea 💡😃👏

Well .... we know if you dislike a product you will tell us for sure! Oh you sure can tell someone who gets freebies and makes sure they ADORE all the products they get so it does not stop! Don't watch those ones as they make my skin itch! lol

@pinkroses8714 Yes, me too, and they also all get the same products at the same time to review, so every review is the same. I think they are given a 'script' to mention things about each product and how to apply the makeup, too. It ends up quite boring to watch them. I won't be given products to review because I also point out their flaws but I'm not going to change 🙃

It's not like that on my skin even though it's the official description. I usually go for B20 in Chanel foundations but that was warm in this iteration, so I chose BD21 instead.

Al bd tones are golden! Br are cool pink And b stand for beige neutral. ❤

@bridgettschreuder5708 I think you mentioned that already and I will respect your opinion however, as I mentioned, BD21 is a much cooler tone on my skin than B20. Thanks for commenting, though.

@pinkroses8714 ahh right. I saw a couple of young girls opening makeup and not using the testers and security made them Pay for them. It's quite strict over here.

@@mirifiquebeauty That is what we should do - make them buy it ! We are too soft. In the end the consumer pays for it sadly as I am sure Sephora factors this in the final cost to us !

The thing is, Chanel had this issue years back in the early 00s, and they actually addressed it after getting many complaints, but they must have to use more expensive ingredients to deal with the issue. The result was the Joues Contraste Blushers, which never hard pan. So it would appear they can produce products which don't hard pan. I'm very reluctant now to buy any of the powder products from Chanel. Not only do people not have endless amounts of brushes, but who has that sort of time? I literally slap my makeup on in the morning for work.

I have not yet noticed own in my duo blush highlighter that came this summer. But on my trio there is hard pan now and its sad

There is a small amount, but it blends well without looking chunky on the skin. If you dont want any glitter, best to avoid and get the normal prisme libre powders as they have no glitter in at all. This one was a LE so maybe that's why it has some sparkle to it.

Probably the liquid foundations other than number one, lipsticks highlighter sticks and Stylo Yeux Waterproof Eyeliners.

Yes, I'm not sure how the new formulas are going to be in the eyeshadows. I know I'm not so impressed with the single eyeshadows, I found them to be a touch powdery. I was looking at that mascara in the green packaging. Eww I'm going to try it now. I just bought the LE Benefit Bad Gal Bang Mascara in Blue. Oh its gorgeous!

I don't with this one. I should have mentioned that. I pump it on back of my hand and break the beads down with my finger, and then apply. It does come with a mini brush which is useful under the eyes but I found application with fingers best and used less product. If you really want to use a brush, a densely packed brush for liquid foundation does the job but will take slightly longer to blend

I have been wearing the purple shadow stick as an Eyeliner all week and it's looking great. For me, I'm going to wear the blue one this week to see how that goes Yes, the orange/copper pencil will make a great Autumn look.

I know. I can't believe the quality if it. I used to wear the original Forever foundation until they changed the formula. They ruined that one too. I don't like the glowy or matte versions. That's why I mostly wear Chanel as they are much better. There are positive reviews out of Australia about the stick foundation though. We don't get that until Mid August but I'm excited for it. If you buy it or get to test it, please let me know

Oh thankyou. It's so nice to know my videos make a difference. I love baby blade so much and if you can't get hold of it, the Dior one is equally as good. I've been using the featherfix all this week and I'm loving it. It holds brows in place and gives a great colour. I put it on and then go over it with a spoolie and it blends in so nice. This is a definite repurchase along with baby blade.

It seems to be a trend now. Dior have ruined a few of their perfumes this way. I cannot justify those prices. I think generally, the first editions are always the strongest formula, and then they get weaker afterwards. I do love the No5 L'Eau, though The new one in the egg shape has stayed true to the original bottle I purchased. I am enjoying Givenchy Irresistible lines, too, as they have some great longevity on the skin. Especially the Rose Velvet version. This is really beautiful. Thanks for your comment.

Yes, I noticed it looked much better with powder. I do like it, but just a little disappointed that it didn't blur out my pores or texture.

Yes, I've seen those. The Teint Idole also gets rave reviews. TBH, I'm waiting for the Dior ones to hopefully come on board too. My only disappointment with the CT is, it doesn't blur out pores that well. I noticed other reviewers had to apply a few times to get a smoother look but I don't want to wear too much foundation. As I get older, I'm wearing less and less. The Dior Filter is really lovely but I'll get shade 3 next time.
