Wonderful piece from a much overlooked composer

Very interesting as well, what an intense work, it sounds to me as a mixture of Brahms, Reger and Scriabin, maybe even Berg's piano sonata. Thanks for the upload.

Very interesting, I' ve never heard of this composer before. It is quite expressive and it sounds a bit like Schönberg's op. 11 with the predilection for melodies with alternating thirds. I can understand why Glenn Gould was attracted to this music. Thank you for sharing.

Far too much wobbling. This music requires straight tones. Such a shame that the Webern performances of Josephine Nendick have either not survived or are languishing in the BBC archives.
