Chrysler Pacifica Trouble Lights GALORE!.... Alternator?
I take a look at a customers 2018 Chrysler Pacifica with several warning lights on. The good ole Chrysler "lighting bolt" makes that customer think it is a faulty alternator. One may agree but is it ACTUALLY the alternator?

2016 GMC Terrain with the 3.6L Engine. Customer called and said the starter was acting up and they just wanted it replaced sooo..... That is what i did. I take a look at a 06 Chevy Colorado with the "money light" on. Customer took it to a Chain store to get the "free scan". They wanted me to put a part on that the Chain Store said was the "Most Likely" cause. I talked them into letting me do some testing before they just throw parts at it. Silverado HVAC Module Has A Mind Of It's Own??

I take a look at a 03 Silverado that has a problem with the driver side temp control. Customer stated the "thing" has a mind of its own lol. Driver side temperature would change randomly by itself from hot to cold or cold to hot without touching the temp control. Using the PicoScope 2204A on this one saved the day!!!! In this video, I replace a power steering pump on a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado. Customer came in and said his power steering pump has been leaking, which it was, and he wanted it replaced so... I've got a older gem for you in this video. 1998 Ford F150 with the 4x4 not working. The customer told me they had already replaced the transfer case shift motor but the 4x4 still did not work.     The engine mount doesn't need to come off. You can cut the top bar portion of the gasket so that it slides under the cover. How did you get the pulley to stay put while you torqued the bolt?

    This video has definitely helped me to do the first part for my timing chain as well. Didnt know that I need to remove the belt pulleys and motor mount to get access better for the cover to come out

    Will I be able to pull that 13 mm bolt right out with out a problem! the one thats on front of timing cover next to water pump access hole? I’m hoping when I remove the mount on timing cover side it drops just enough to pull that 13mm right through wheel well?

      I am doing timing cover gasket tomorrow! I rember when I did my water pump that bolt couldn’t slide all the way out because of the frame on my 2.4 Malibu 2010!

    U need to use carb cleaner. Brake cleaner wont burn in an engine.

    According to GM you are supposed to replace the CRANK Bolt everytime you do this repair

    2010 Equinox, oil leak, I think oil around pulley area. I see not the case. It’s timing chain cover? Great video by the way. God bless thank you.

      If the oil is only around the pulley area then it's more than likely the crank seal that's in the timing cover. I changed the seal in the video starting at about the 8min mark. It will be a little bit of a different removal process if the timing cover is not removed first. Thank you for the comment and watching it!

      No, I do not use gasket maker for this job. Just use a new hard gasket.

Only tips I would give from someone a few more videos in is maybe invest in external microphone to pick up your valuable tips a little more and I really like the rechargeable lights with magnetic bases to put lots of light in those dark areas so it shows a little more clear on film. Even with those little things, you're doing great!

      He likely took it too some backyard mechanic who “fixed” a misfiring issue or a low oil pressure issue by raising the idle with the duck tape and quarter trick. He put it in there so it would idle higher and cover up the misfire/low oil pressure. When the idle is higher it’s harder to hear the misfire and it raises the oil pressure the higher the rpm goes

    Is there any way to replace the bearing without pulling that housing out. The other side pops out with the circlip intact. Why can’t this side?

    Will the A/C run properly intermittently if the actuator is going bad? Have hot air drivers side, cool on passenger side... but then all of a sudden it works properly??

    I had this problem, so after watching these kinds of videos, I changed my actuator. May I suggest that you try to press the defrost button and power button at the same time first. Hold them down for several seconds. This just might reset the electronics and save you the trouble.

      @@All-about-everything I'm sorry that I haven't seen this earlier. There is a power button just under the fan insignia to right of the defrost button. It goes defrost, rear window, auto, power button. Press them with the car running and hold them down until the ambient lighting goes through a couple cycles of changing colors. Anyway that is what I did and the air actuator started to work again.

      @@Dstrbrdgrnd It's a very simple try. Just press these buttons at the same time and wait for several seconds. I watched the ambient lighting go through all the colors, for example. Then my problem was resolved. It costs nothing to try. Good luck.

      On my ‘07 town car there are 5 of them. One on each side, have no clue where the others are, gotta remove entire dash board and drop steering wheel😳😳😳
