Hey, thanks for creating these videos. I just had to go through the post patch content really fast to get it done before Dawntrail, so I had to skip cutscenes. Now I can watch them at my leisure here while we're down for maintenance.

I remember this scene hit me extra hard because I'd just finished Stormblood, and Tesleen's appearance, voice, location (it's equivalent to Little Ala Mhigo on the Source), and motivation having to do with the death of an older female relative made me come to the conclusion that she's the First's equivalent of Lyse.

I actually threw up my first time seeing this

What was the connection between Zenos & the WoL? Why did zenos consider the WoL his friend? I never really got the gist of it tbh.

Thanks for this, this is the hardest MSQ instance I've had in FFXIV, I just kept dying and kept getting res'ed by the other healer. Even knowing the mechanics after watching your video I really struggled to keep up! Made me feel like I don;t know what I'm doing despite well over 700 hours in the game :(

Just wanted to chime in that I agree with everyone else saying how helpful this was! I'm not very good at seeing everything on the screen that's happening in dungeons and trials so a video like this (that even slows things down for some items) is clutch! Great job.

These are great, I work during the day and have little time to play, now I get to skip all the cutscenes to get to the action, ty .

As I have been blitzing to dawntrail these videos have kept me in the loop for the overall story. Saved me several dozen hours of time so I can enjoy the game as soon as dawntrail comes out.

Dunno if you ever go read old comments on old videos but I wanted to say your recaps including your own summaries and cutscenes with voice work intermingled are one of the best done ones on the site. The aforementioned way you do your recaps, your voice isn't too fast like some others and is a pleasant tone. I recommended your entire game and expansion recaps to my friends coming in for Dawntrail.

Thanks for the video! This was much easier than the Golbez fight. My group was half full of first timers and we beat it on our first try with only a couple of deaths.

The dot from mindys attack actually ticks for way more damage depending on how much the attack does so always use a big defensive

Thanks for the video. This was a hell of a fight! My party was dying quite a lot, and I managed to hold out until Golbez was under 10% before I died, too, but the remainder of my group stayed alive just long enough to finish it.

The f*** did I just see? I’m gonna need at least 6 stormbolters, 3 assault cannons, 4 plasma cannons, a dozen heavy flamers, and enough terminators to wield them all before I’d fight these things!

This fight is fkn awful.

Please change the title and thumbnail of the video. Simply calling it a guide to "The Mothercrystal" is more than enough to direct people to the video without spoiling who the fight is against. I, myself, was spoiled when this video was suggested at the end of an unrelated guide to an earlier trial.

Thanks for the vid! Octomammoth was a crazy fight. It's kinda hard to see what bosses are doing sometimes when they're so big. I kinda wish the game would let us zoom out more.

idk if you know this, but you can hide the dialogue boxes in cutscenes if you're only going to record it in a horizontal format. This way it doesn't get weirdly cut off

Thanks for the vid. That cone AoE from the line with the turning arena broke my brain. I'm either gonna need a lot of practice on that fight, or just hope I never have to do it again. It's just too much to figure out in too short a time for me.
