Thank you for sharing. The same issue with my Laptop Maibenben Damai E527. The technician tried my charger to a different laptop brand to check if my charger has a problem and the laptop is charging but if they plugged in to my laptop it only blink color white 3 times, the same yours. 🥺 They couldn't fix what's the issue. 😒

It works! I can't believe. I opened up the laptop trying to find a fault in the mobo and turns out it was just the silly twisted charger pin. Bloody hell.

I had a similar problem with a friend's laptop. The two little data pins on the side of the laptop were worn out, so they didn't touch the charger's pin anymore. I simply soldered the two pins together on the laptop so the connection is always closed. Problem solved.

My proplem when i plugged in the charcher in to my computer the light of adapter off , but the computer still work by the pattery of computer. To charche my battery i need to pull out the pattery of computer and plugged in the charcher without pattery the computer starting work after that return the pattery the pattery start charching, i mean all of time i need to make this state to charche the pattery. Well this is a old video but won't hurt to ask.... The replacement charger was the correct voltage but how about the amperage/watts ? Both have to meet the requirements.

I can see why this might be funny to some people but not to sound like that guy, these situations are really not funny. The inconvenience these stupid and not thought out road works causes for public transport is beyond a joke. People rely on buses to get to work and silly things like this happen when it shouldn't. Something needs to be done about this.

My case is crazy .. battery led is flashing in cycle of 5 flashes continously even when it is shut down whatever charger connected with no battery plugged in or when battery in without charger ..but it is charging and boot normally .. any meaning in hp manuals for these 5 flashes??

My Laptop turns white when is charging without battery and turns red when the battery is inside and charging I keep pressing turn on button and doesn’t turn on any advice I bought a new battery but perhaps it’s the cable?

Did you say there's no battery on the back of that laptop either?

I have solved this problem. The charger has a 3 way cable and plug, there are the positive, negative and a data line that goes to the pin in the center of the plug. If this wire is open, the notebook does not start and gives the 3 flash white LED error. The solution is to change the cable, there are on ebay harnesses (cable and plug) for most of the chargers. You will have to deal with the fact that the charger (ac adapter) is manufactured in a plastic case all bonded with a hi quality glue. In most of the cases I use to cut a slot with a saw at the union of the two halves in one corner just a couple of milimeters and then insert a blade srewdriver and pry till the bonding releases.
