Happy to have found your videos 😀. We'll be going there in December, and this was very helpful.
Ohayo-gozaimasu, Steve-san! Thank you for finding my video, and I’m so glad to hear that it was helpful for you. In December, you can see beautiful illuminations around Tokyo Station!✨ The Marunouchi side is especially stunning, with the station’s lights and the illuminations on Marunouchi Naka-dori Street. I highly recommend taking a stroll there at night. I hope you have an amazing time during your stay in Japan!😆

Thank you, Omar A-san, for the greeting from beautiful Buenos Aires! And thank you for saying that you enjoy my videos-it makes me so happy.🥰 Is your third trip to Japan planned for spring? I hope you enjoy your next visit as well!🌸Muchas gracias.😆

Hi! Nudin17-san Thank you so much for watching! Chūson-ji is such a peaceful and lovely place! If you have the chance, I definitely recommend visiting. Unlike busy Kyoto, you can take your time exploring the temple at a relaxed pace.
Is it possible to reserve a kamakura and have dinner in it, if it’s possible do you know where can I reserve
Hi Kuek Yujing-san, I seem to recall an event where you could reserve a kamakura , but I can't find any information from back then even after searching, so I’m not sure. If there is an event where you can reserve a kamakura, it should be listed in the festival information for that year. Please check the website. The kamakura experience was very enchanting and beautiful, so I hope you enjoy it as well!🥰
Thank you so much for this video. It was very helpful and the prices in USD was also appreciated!

Hello! Ashiyakhanam class 3A Khanam-san, do you like Doraemon? Unfortunately, this train is not in operation at the moment, but there is a Doraemon tram in operation in a different part of Japan. Thanks for this video, can i clarify that by taking the Fuji excursion train I can get straight from Shinjuku to Kawaguchiko using the same express train. But I have to get down from Otsuki to buy another ticket of Y1580 in the station and get on the same express train? If so, will there be enough time for me to buy the ticket and get on the train? Its really confusing as before, we were told to get off at Otsuki station and get a local train which is another hour as its so slow. Many thanks in advance
Kon-nichiwa! itsmeeh Lala-san!Thank you for watching my video. If you're using the Japan Rail Pass to take the Fuji Excursion train, you can pay the fare difference for the non-JR section (from Otsuki to Kawaguchiko) when you get off at Kawaguchiko Station (though you may have to wait in a long line at the fare adjustment counter). You don’t need to get off at Otsuki Station to buy a separate ticket. I confirmed this with Fujikyu Railway over the phone, so there is no mistake about it. Since Fujikyu Railway is a different company, JR staff may not always be fully informed and might give you such guidance. Technically, that guidance is not incorrect. The standard procedure when transferring from JR to another company is to purchase a ticket for the other company before boarding. However, since the Fuji Excursion train runs directly to Kawaguchiko as a special service, you can settle the fare at the station where you disembark. However, if you take a train that doesn’t run directly from Shinjuku to Kawaguchiko, you will need to get off at Otsuki Station, buy a ticket, and then board the Fujikyu Railway. Be sure to book your bus or train to Mt. Fuji as early as possible, and enjoy your trip to Mt. Fuji!
@ thanks so much for your quick response and clarification. Much appreciated 😊
what camera did you use for this? :)
Hello, Jijoutsu-san! Thank you for watching my video!! The camera I used is an iPhone 13 Pro Max. It can still take beautiful shots! But I’m starting to want a new one soon. 😊

hi, thanks for the video! just to check what time did you take the bus back? were there any jam?
Hello! llaoyaooo-san!😉😉 Thank you for watching my video. Although I don’t remember the exact time, I took the bus home at around 6 PM. Since it was a weekday, there was no traffic. However, on weekends, holidays, or if there's an accident, the roads can get congested. More important than the traffic situation is securing a seat on the bus early. Right now, the area around Mount Fuji is extremely crowded, and bus reservations fill up quickly, so make sure to secure your seat as early as possible! Enjoy your trip to Mount Fuji!🗻

Hello, its beautiful. Is it a tourist-friendly place? I am Brazilian and I plan to take a 20-day trip, I am planning my itinerary.
Good morning, Zeitnot-san, Thank you for watching my video and leaving a comment. How wonderful it is to travel in Japan for 20 days! I’d love to travel to Brazil for 20 days too! I’m not sure if Okutama fits what you described as tourist-friendly, but there were plenty of tourists, both from Japan and abroad. While there weren’t any materials in Portuguese at the tourist information center, there were some in English. Since buses and trains are infrequent around Okutama, I recommend checking the schedules in advance. The red app called “Japan Transit” is convenient for checking the times. Thank you for the tour. I just got back from Japan and reminisce how wonderful it was to visit Hiraizumi. I was there the last two days of my visit in Japan. There also was a bus that tours around the area in circular fashion so you can get on and off as you wish. I believe it was 500 yen. The heritage museum was definitely worth the visit, though mostly in Japanese. You will learn about Basho who wrote poem about this place.
Kon-banwa, Mei Yang-san! Thank you for watching the video and for your comment! I wanted to take the bus, too! Unfortunately, I visited on a weekday, so it wasn’t in operation, and I had to use a bicycle instead. I wish I could have explored more with the bus! I went to the Chureito Pagoda and Kawaguchiko early this year (2024) for Cherry Blossoms. IMHO, taking the bus would be the easiest because it’s a direct 2hr ride from Shinjuku St to Kawaguchiko St and cheaper than train.
Hi AP-san! Thank you for the advice! I agree with you😆the bus is faster and cheaper. One good thing about the train is that the toilets are spacious! Were the cherry blossoms beautiful? This year, the blooming was quite late. I hope you were able to enjoy the cherry blossoms. If you have any other tips or experiences to share, I'd love to hear them!🥰Arigatou!
@@GetToKnowJapanTogether you’re welcome! I arrived at Kawaguchiko two days after Sakura opened so I was able to see it in full bloom. Some tips for your future videos. • some hotels in Kawaguchiko have free shuttle buses from the station to the hotel • if you want to see Sakura at Chureito Pagoda, it’s better to go from sunrise. After 9am the line was up to 4hrs+ long and harder to take good pictures without crowds. I had lots of space and freedom from 6:30am - about 8am with no crowds • once the Pagoda observation deck becomes busy, there is a 5 or 10 minute limit you can stay before they tell you to get off and new people can enter. If you come early enough or in the evening, there is no line • besides the Pagoda, you should rent a bike for a day or half day and ride around the nearest lake, Kawaguchi. There are many other Sakura spots when riding around the lake and also the nice view spot, Oishi Park. • many people don’t know FujiQ Highland is free to enter unlike Disneyland or Universal Studios. You just pay for individual rides or purchase a day pass • JR railpass doesn’t work from Kawaguchiko station to Otsuki station because it’s a private line (Fujikyuko-sen / 富士急行線) These are some tips I remember for now and I can update later if I remember more. Hope this helps! 😊
How did you manage to visit the Pagoda and the Lake in the same day? How did you plan the trip please?

Kon-nichiwa Brandon-san! Thank you for watching my video and leaving a comment! You're coming to Japan soon😆Welcome!\(^o^)/ Are you perhaps planning to visit Mount Mitake in Ome? I would love to visit there too! I hope you enjoy the beautiful Momiji during your visit.🍁

Im planing go to Tohoku and Ginzan onsen, so glad to see your video, thanks for all the information ❤
Hi, Bigfang Japan-san! Thank you for watching my video.🤗 I'm glad my video was helpful to you. There are many attractions in the Tohoku region! Please enjoy your time there! I hope your trip will be wonderful.😆
How to get a cycle
??🤔Is "cycle" referring to a bicycle? I don't think I was riding a bicycle in this video, but are you referring to my Mount Fuji video?
Is this trail open now 2024? I am planning a trip on october
Kon-banwa, Silja Nousiainen-san! Thank you for watching my video! Are you referring to the route from Okutama Station to Hatonosu Station? It’s accessible in October as well! However, the availability of facilities may vary, so please check the link in the description for details. Additionally, the route may be closed due to weather conditions, so please check the link in the first comment of the video for updates. October is the best season for hiking! Enjoy your hike!
How to get Fujinomiya from Shinjuku bus terminal???
Hi, you can take a bus to Fujinomiya from Tokyo Station. Or maybe take a bus to Mishima and then a train from there? I haven't been to Fujinomiya myself, so I'm not sure about the details. The red app called JAPAN Transit is convenient for checking transportation times. Please check it out if you like.😉
TOURIST TRAP!!!
Kon-nichiwa! J2 Production-san😁Thank you for your comment. I understand that some people might feel that way about popular tourist spots like Shinjuku Kabukicho Tower. If you like, please also take a look at my other Shinjuku videos! ua-cam.com/video/zeBt60kunHM/v-deo.html I also introduce some places that tourists don't know about. I especially recommend Chirin-bou. The prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious! However, be careful because the restaurant can get full if you don't go early!
Japan is such a country for the senses! No matter where you go, your senses will be used and excited in ways you didn't know possible. I can't wait to go back!
Kon-nichiwa! Mad Titan-san! Thank you for your wonderful comment! I'm so glad you felt that way about Japan. It truly is a sensory adventure with so much to experience and enjoy😆 hehe😆 I hope your next visit is just as exciting and memorable. Looking forward to hearing more about your adventures when you return! Arigatou🤗
Thanks for the tour. I'll have to add this to my to do list. ;)
J. G.-san! Thank you for watching my video and leaving a comment! Hiraizumi is a peaceful place that is great for visiting temples and shrines. If you’re interested, please try wanko soba (Endless bowls of soba) as well. It’s a local specialty in that area and very delicious.😉😉
I’m inspired to follow the recommended itinerary!
Theresa Yan-san!, Thank you so much for watching my videos! Among them, the Japanese boat ride was particularly enjoyable. I highly recommend it! If you can visit on a day when it's operating, definitely give it a try.
Hi Thanks for sharing, very beautiful. I can convince my wife, kid and parents now. :) I am planning to do this November mid, just 1 question - how did u get back at night from tsumago, did u go forward towards nagano or back to nagoya and by what time the buses run, I want to spend the whole day there including evening but I also am finding it difficult to book any place.
Hi Subodh-san, Thank you for watching mu video! I took a highway bus from Magome back to Shinjuku after returning from Tsumago. According to the current schedule, the bus departs from Magome at 17:41. If you're looking for accommodation, how about Kiso-Fukushima nearby? There's a Kiso horse farm in Kiso-Fukushima where your kids can probably have fun. Please persuade your family and enjoy exploring the Samurai Road! You can book the bus here: www.kosokubus.com/ Please search for the Tokyo-Gifu route. Kiso horse farm kisoumanosato.or.jp/
@@GetToKnowJapanTogether Thank you for the suggestions. The video around 17:57 waterwheel one, that looks a night one, so if I have to explore at night, 17:41 bus may not help then if thats the last bus of the day? Also, my current plan was more like this, start from nagoya, do the trails and back to nagoya or Nakatsugawa or Nagiso as my next stop would be kyoto, but if I head North, I can think of the place you suggested or way up to Agematsu? The local bus route in video doesn't show up in the link you posted. I really wanted to visit otaki, I know its off road, and not sure if there is any public/private transport there esp. in Nov.
@@subodhrathi9512 In November, the sun sets in Magome before 5 PM. However, most of the shops in that area close in the evening, so there isn’t much to see at night. That bus to Shinjuku is the last one. If you want to check transportation times in Japan, I recommend an app called Japan Transit (the red app). You can also check bus schedules there. I could only find old timetables for local buses, and they are in Japanese only, but here it is. chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/nagiso.jp/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/%E3%81%B6%E3%82%89%E3%82%8A%E3%81%AA%E3%81%8E%E3%81%9D%EF%BC%88%E6%97%A5%E6%9C%AC%E8%AA%9E%E3%82%B5%E3%82%A4%E3%83%88%EF%BC%89.pdf I recommend checking the latest times on the app. It sounds like you have many places you want to visit, so it will be a busy trip!😆😆
@@GetToKnowJapanTogether Indeed, i have been working on my itinerary day and night, esp. the nakasendo trail booking 😃 , i struggled 3 days in a row to find the right commute options and lots of places are already booked. God bless you and thank you again for taking time to answer queries.

Thank you for the transport information, it’s helpful!
Hi Theresa Yan-san😆Thank you for your comment! I'm glad I could be of help to you. Please note that the bus and Shinkansen times and fares mentioned are based on the time of filming, so please check the latest information from the links in the description. Are you also planning a trip to Ginzan Onsen? Enjoy the beautiful townscape!

Marta-san! Kon-nichiwa!

Hi! rafiboy05-san😆Thank you for your comment! Wow!! you’re planning a trip to Ginzan Onsen in October next year.? That’s wonderful! Be sure to enjoy the beautiful autumn scenery at Ginzan Onsen. If you’re making accommodation reservations, I recommend booking early. Ginzan Onsen is quite popular, and rooms tend to fill up quickly! 😊🍁
@@GetToKnowJapanTogether Thanks for the advice! I'm planning a 14 day trip to explore the Tohoku region in Autumn! I'll do a day trip if I'm unable to book an accomodation in Ginzan Onsen.
Wow, traveling in Tohoku for 14 days sounds wonderful! Enjoy the beautiful nature, delicious food, and warm interactions with the people of Tohoku. Wishing you a fantastic journey!🩷
After watching this video I decided to follow you a train trip and restaurant when I visit Japan in August 2025. Waiting for your next video soon.
Good morning, หมากล้อมพร้อมDripcafeine-san! Thank you for your delightful comment. So, you're planning to visit Japan in August next year! Great!! When you ride the monorail, be sure to grab a spot right behind the driver's seat! The view is fantastic! The restaurant where the Enoden runs right in front of you was also very nice, but it's quite crowded. I went during a less busy time and requested a window seat. It seems they don't accept such requests during busy hours. For my next video, I'm thinking of introducing a mountain with stunning views. I hope your trip to Japan will be amazing!😉😉
@@GetToKnowJapanTogether Thank you so much Atsukosan.🙏
THis is what I think of when someone mentions Japan
😱😱😱😱Wait, is this really your image of Japan? Jaunter-san😅 It's definitely a unique festival, but there are so many more wonderful things about Japan! I hope you'll get to know some of the other charms as well 😊
great video! I like the map at the end. I am staying in Ikebukuro this Fall for the 2nd time.
Hi 😆piano etudes-san! Thank you for your comment! I'm glad to hear that you liked the map part! You’re coming to Japan this fall? Welcome! Visiting in the fall is a great choice. It’s so hot right now, I feel like I’m going to melt. 🍦🤣Ikebukuro is evolving too, with the Seibu Department Store under renovations and a new game center that has already opened, so I’m sure you’ll see a new Ikebukuro when you come back!
Marunouchi is a very elegant town.

Atsuko san, how did you go back to Tokyo? Did you use bus again? Thank you~~
Kon-nichiwa!!Cindy-san! Thank you for watching my video! Yes, I also used the night bus to return to Tokyo. If you use the Shinkansen, the last one is Tsubasa No. 160, departing from Ōishida Station at 20:12. Both the Shinkansen and the bus have reserved seating only, so don't forget to make a reservation in advance! Have a great trip!❤
Hello, thanks for d informative video. May I ask where can I buy d tickets for the overnight bus?
I have been to Shinjuku a couple times years ago, but I have never been to Golden Gai nor Omoide Yokocho. Perhaps someday I will go if I'm in the neighborhood at night. The small izakayas under the railroad tracks in Yurakucho also look appealing, and I hope to check them out someday. As far as izakayas go, I prefer the smaller "mom and pop," owner-operated izakayas over the larger chain variety. The kind of izakaya where the owner greets you and thanks you for coming just after you sit down, and then pours you a glass of plum wine or cold sake as a kind of "liquid" otoshi. The kind of izakaya where you can have a conversation with another friendly patron. Oh, and I also like izakayas that specialize solely in seafood. Japan has so, so many wonderful izakayas stretching from Hokkaido down to Okinawa (Ishigaki). Whenever I'm in a new city, large or small, I always look for a couple smaller izakayas to go to. リック
リックさん!おはようございます!How have you been? I hope you are doing well! Indeed, small izakayas have a lot of charm! I also often have dinner at izakayas when traveling. The food is delicious, and I can ask locals for recommendations😆 Omoide Yokocho and Golden Gai are popular among tourists because they can go even if they don't understand Japanese. The majority of small izakayas are Japanese-only, with menus in kanji, so it is probably difficult for foreign tourists to get in. Yurakucho and Shinbashi are the holy lands for salarymen! I also love izakayas with a focus on seafood dishes! And I love motsuni too! When it's this hot every day, it makes me want to drink beer! 良い週末を!リックさん

Hola, Marta-san.
