We just completed a boat tour in split, really a great day, the guide mentioned that he’s seen a few sharks in his 5 years, there was apparently a sighting of a great white in the Adriatic in the last few weeks

No Bull Sharks anywhere in Med?
Yes, it is safe to swim in the entire Adriatic Sea and enjoy a peaceful mind. The only potential danger is accidentally stepping on a sea urchin.
Of course there living Sharks. But not really often. It's possible also to find the great White on the Adriatic Sea. But the Population of them are very very low. So, no Problem to swim there. Very safe. Last deadly Shark Attack in Croatian Adriatic Sea was 1974. A German Tourist lost his Leg by a Shark Attack and bleeding out on the Sea near by Omiš. 49 Years ago. It haves much more dangerous Coasts all around the World. Where happens all Year minimal one deadly Shark Attack. Like Australia, Florida, South Africa, Red Sea by Egypt and etc.
Have been on 2 shark conservation trips to look for Great Whites.We came across none despite many hours of chumming with Sardines.Had the occasional Blue Shark.From what i gather the Adriatic was a 'Hotspot' for Great Whites and attacks were quite frequent many Decades ago.But the Adriatic is now one of the most degraded seas in the world.

How do you activate or get the bus ticket?
You need to take it at the Pile bus stop with your digital Dubrovnik pass. You activate it at first use at the bus 🚌

Hii! You receive a pass in digital form but if you want to take public transport tickets you will need to find the "Libertas Dubrovnik" booth and with the Dubrovnik pass you receive bus tickets. You can reedem your hus tickets at Pile Gate. Which is one of the old town entrances. Price for city walls and 1- a day Dubrovnik pass is the same so it is much better to buy a Dubrovnik pass because you have more benefits. Discounts at restaurants bars, museums, etc
