Nürburgring GP strecke. July 7 Trackday with BikePromotionsEurope. langsam group.
A couple slow laps of the NürburgringGP circuit with my RSV4 RF.
It seems I need to get some foam blocks for the fuel tank, as whenever the fuel level is half or less, and I brake for T1 all the fuel moves forward away from the pump, and I get a momentary fuel starvation when I'm trying to get back on the gas.
1st time using the Insta360 X3. the wind pushed it down flat on bike, I have to figure out how to keep it upright next time.

That's one Helluva rush too. I know this one WFO has a lot to do with that. Autobahn helps for training But it's a state of mind. Some do most Don't. I love doing that on hwy One Big Sur but it is deadly. Keep it in The Wind.

They make different adapter plates to fit different bikes. A new one from bike-tower.de with the corresponding adapter plate is about €450.

Have you got a video of the swingarm removal process? Also, where did you get your 2021 swingarm? Did you buy it from a dealer / AF1? Or managed to find one on eBay or something?
Sorry, no video of that. Pretty straight fwd tho. U need a castle nut socket, and you have to remove the rear header pipes. Got the swingarm from a friend who got it from his dealer for stupid cheap.

No, it's still there, just smaller. The lap timer numbers and gear selection take priority on the screen.

Another way to turn off cruse control is to twist the throttle forward.

how does the seat install? are they screwed on? i want one for my 2022 rsv4
Tail unit, imagine the stock subframe plastic side covers, and tail plastic all being one unit. 2 on bolts up front on the side, by the tank and 2 little ones at the top of the tail. I used HD Velcro to attach the cushion to the plastic.
@@snikwadRR is the seat thinner than the stock OEM Seat? And would you say Installation was pretty easy?
@@jamesaranda1451 yeah, if you've done race plastic before it's all easy if they're quality stuff that fits and lines up. The race seat is basically a 1/2" thick foam. Its just there to put your bum briefly while going straight. I wouldn't call it uncomfortable, but it's not meant for street use where comfort is a factor at all.
@@snikwadRR gotcha. just looking for a thinner seat to put on my 2022 RSV4. Im hoping it'll help me get a better tuck when going high speeds. Would you say a thinner seat helps with tucking? I appreciate your fast responses! 🙂🙏
@@jamesaranda1451 No, I don't think the thickness of the seat has anything to do with how you tuck behind the windshield

Great video! Just got a 17 and still learning all this new fancy to me stuff... FUN FACT If you go into APRC settings and go to AWC and toggle down to 1, then hold the minus button down on your left hand grip by your pointer finger. The button you normally use to toggle down ATC on the fly. You'll see a (-) next to AWC and that's how you turn off whOOlie control....juuuust in case!

@@tja929 oh. No I tried it and I could t get it to do much other than display track and incoming phone call. The data stuff I couldn't get it to display it. So I gave up on that thing years ago. I should take the module off the bike and sell it. 🤣

Nice set of mods on the bike. What race plastics are you running? How was the fitment and do you run stock seat or race foam?
Race plastics are Profiber. Firment is perfect, the tank cover is Hella tight tho. Not something you want to be taking on and off. It's a sbk tail, so foam race seat.
Sick bike man. Got a question, when you're switching to your race wheels OZ Piega, is the oem sprocket carrier still needed? I read that the race wheels uses an entirely different rear sprocket hence my confusion.. And where did you get the rizoma oil filler cap? Tried looking on AF1 racing but didn't find one
Yes, oz, bst, Marchesini all use the same sprocket, which is different than oem. So I have sprockets for each wheel set. That oil cap was from AF1, bit that's been many moons ago, maybe its discontinued.

Factory code is 00000. If it hasn't been changed, then u can enter it and be done. The 2 keys that come with the bike should have been coded to the dash by the dealer.

It was a RAM fork stem mount. I took it off because I was trying to use I as a camera mount and it would always spin around instead of staying put.
God, it's hard to find a video like this. I have the factory rr, it's overwhelming going through the electronics. And the manual is printed in like -12 font.

Absolutely love the video, I just got my 2017 RF (had 2018 Tuono Factory before). Nice to see your mods, the 43 rear sprocket is a good idea, I was looking at going down to 15 in front first, but maybe I won’t. I wanted to ask how hard/long is it to swap out for the race fairings? Thank you!
Thanks. I think Tuonos come with 15T sprocket don't they?
@@snikwadRR yes the Tuono was 15/42 from the factory which was spot on for driving out of the corners, but my 17 RF seems like it needs a bit more low end pull.
@@ryanlowe2808 tbeye but for different targets. Turbo for street use. RSV4 for track, and not so much pulling away from a stop, etc. I like the 16/43 because I can still hit 180mph at bike tracks, but 15/41 would be almost the same effect and probably the same chain angle

@@snikwadRRMy bike “Alarm service” is coming on whenever the bike gets hot. Once I turn it off & turn it backs on, it disappears. Any ideas of what it could be?

@@snikwadRR I ran my BrenTuning kit & 3 codes popped up all had to do with Wheel speed sensors. Any idea why?
@@bouzen65 I Don't know shit about bt diagnostics. You should see about getting guzzidiag or IAWdiag to read factory codes. If it says the sensor is bad. Then check the connections and the the routing to make sure its connected and and not kinked. There's also a specific spacing it should be from the tone ring. If all those are good then the spacer may be bad. I don't think a speed sensor would cause alarm on the dash, but I don't remember all what they do when sensors are bad.

Yeah. Enough to make it pull away easier, but I can still hit 170s at bike tracks.

There's is a photocell to the right of the aprilia logo above the screen. Cover it with a sticker, paint, whatever of your choice and it should stay dark.

How do you change the screen from light to dark?
There's a light sensor on the dash. Iirc it's at top center. Put some tape over it you want it dark all the time.
