Highlights from the last quarter, where the crows were down from 20 odd to stage a mighty comeback!
"What the Dogs can do next week"

Listen to the commentary Sandy Roberts was wondering what the Dogs can do next week against St Kilda?? ummm Sandy you actually have to win the Prelim to make it to the Grand Final!!

1997 Preliminary Final Bulldogs vs Crows
The commentators though Darren Jarman was "magic" at this stage, but they were a week away from discovering *how* magic.
The Saints steamrolled. What a performance by the Crows! I can remember being at a birthday when this was on. Poor child was largely forgotten!
Hey unknown how come Heisenberg not on the crows list
Shane Ellen remember him. Dam.good .player
The the saints heart were broken they actually had them the 1st 2 quarters
He is greatest commenter love u bill sir love u voice miss u rest of my life fore u sweet voice
Cricket hasn’t been the same since he Richie greggy and chappeli aren’t in the box
MCG hero shane warne and bill lawry etc
FN bullshit. I was in the southern stand right on the wing and it was a goal..
Libbas kick was a goal according to crows fan behind post at game
Like I did say, I'm a crow
Clynton agrees with Jarman dumb fuckers unnah
I wasn’t there and I can definitely say without a doubt that I don’t know if it was a goal!
Classic legends team.
This was a great game and it was even better being there!
CARN THE FUCKEN CROWS
ST KILDA SUCK! ST KILDA ARE TRASH! ADELAIDE CROWS = GOOD!
The fact they didn't show Ellen's greatness in the first half, demoralising
0:42 Leigh Matthews : "Well you know the things that could decide the game, it could be the bounce of the ball". Hindsight, it's Steven Milne in 2010
Watched this today, January 2022, still gave me goose bumps. So thrilling. What a footy side.
@6 47 the kid right in the bottom left corner of screen with crows face paint (in the shed) would go on to be a 3 time premiership player for the cats, the 1st coming exactly 10 years to the day (2007) It's Andrew Mackie!
You can see Mark Taylor in the crowd towards the end of the clip.
At 6.24 & 7.48 a very young Andrew Mackie in Crows guernsey is seen celebrating the goal & win in the Crows' supporter venue. He went on to play in a few Premierships himself......
Sean Rehn was superb.
St Kilda were beaten by a side that wanted the premiership more.
My favourite moment was Bond's goal: 'Oh they're home and hosed! Look at them go!' Something about that moment still makes me emotional. Troy Bond is pumping his fists, the crowd behind the goals roars, that goal wasn't even needed to win the match but it sinks the boot into St Kilda, and the crowd back in Adelaide is jumping around and losing their minds.
watching the adelaide fans go mad about winning is honestly my favourite part
How east did Jarman make that look
I still cry tears of joy 20 years later
September 27 1997
the guernseys colours are way too similar, terrible to play like this
7:20
I still get goosebumps
I'm watching this now to make me happy, because the Crows aren't doing to well this year.
John Russo what a tard. The Jarman hold has been a free kick for 150 years you clown.
That Jarman mark will also stick with me. The man was a genius. He was being held and stuck between 2 defenders and still comes down the ball
@J G who cares? Having a discussion about AFL and you feel the need to bring up Soccer. Don’t get me wrong, I like soccer but it has its issues. It’s officials and corporate keys are corrupt. Not to mention that there’s more diving then a full season of Baywatch.
Took over 4mins to hear bruce.
Up the crows🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It was during this match that James Cook from the W.Bulldogs had an apple thrown at his foot during a set shot from the boundary. The incident caused him to miss and resulted in a point. It can be seen in the original Ch7 footage but was not picked up by the umpires or commentators. Could have been a different result if Cook was allowed to shoot again.
How the Fck was that a point seriously.
And 20 years later they lose one
I'm a Crows fan and my best friend is a Saints fan, so I sent him this video
That Darren Jarman fake on the lead is one of my first Football memories. It’s was absolutely brilliant.
wait......everyone bangs on about this game like "oh it was a goal".......Look at the scoreline when it pops up.....How about blaming dogs for not holding onto the lead....instead of blaming umpires......
Adelaide fans sooked in 2017 that it should of been played in Adelaide.... didnt bother them going back to back at the g years ago didnt bother west coast. You cunts are just sore losers
Haha, you are an idiot. Not all of us were sore. Some of us are able to admit the team played badly. It's always best not to make such generalised statements.
World no 1 commentator
Bill Lawry ,Tony Grieg and the great Richie Benaud are my heroes ,they are the voice of voice unbiased unlike what we see now .Ravi ,gavaskar ,manjrekar are all puppets of BCCI and total sell outs .Heck even Harsha Bogle was expelled from commentating for IPL and BCCI TV for 1 year just because MS Dhoni and Amitabh Bachachan thought it was not Patriot of him to speak in favour of Bangladesh .Too much politics is toxic to the sports
I have a mate that didn't so much as follow an AFL team, he followed Darren Jarman - when Jarman left Hawthorn for Adelaide Crows he switched teams... dirty turncoat! Anyways players like DJ make the game so much better, they are the magic!
Jarman. Around the body. That will do. That. Will. Do.
That's what my mother and I say when appropriate in any situation.
That goal makes no sense, he plucks it out of nowhere and snaps straight away, what a goal!
@M who asked
@@mikel3030 It's taken me a lot of years to figure out how he got the ball. The illusion from our angle was that his team mate running past had knocked the ball forward. In fact, the team mate + defender Jason Heatley both overran the ball, and it stood up into Darren's hands - a bit of a lucky bounce. When you're hot, you're hot!
Jarman should off won Norm smith medal
that was the cue for the crows
This ridiculous reaction makes it so much funnier that they completely choke in those final 10 minutes.
