THANK YOU I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A VIDEO EXACTLY LIKE THIS
Excellent video Sir. Thanks for taking the time to break this down and share it.
ive been trying to find this groove for literal weeks thank you so much
Amazing video, I’m having a problem with speeding up the first 3 notes but I can play the rest of it at song tempo. Anyone have any tips for the Rll I’m having trouble with the feeling of hitting the hh and second ghost note.
Or 2 bars 4/4 and one 3/8. Zappa’s band used to performe many jams in 11, 13, 21… always counting using this kinda reasoning. Nice work!!
Thank you sir❤
Quality content ! Love it. Gonna learn that last groove!
Loved the video! Also I thought the metric modulation part was cool, but I can't tell if this is actually what's being played or not. Notice that the modulation is played after they move to a 3/4 meter so it might not be what they are playing. If somebody knows for sure what they are playing I'd be happy to hear
Check out 11:50 one of the coolest things ever you're welcome.
thank you!
Great breakdown!
Excellent tutorial, thanks
Great & thanks for highlighting (and giving credit) to the original artist 👌🏻🤩 And if anyone want another great groove: I give you “Vital Transformation”: ua-cam.com/video/u3ADv-gGqYs/v-deo.htmlsi=vYAn8sk0IOlT67UQ
And if looking for someone who mastered playing in 11. Then check out Baard Kolstad in Leprous “The Sky is red” 👌🏻😅
This was awesome. Thanks
yoooooo looking dashing my guy! This channel is one of the most consistent and dope on yt, always glad to see a vid drop!!
Absolutely disgusting bruv. Thanks for being the GOAT 🔥🔥
You're so good, nice video man
Hardest of all time? It isn't even hard. Getting tired of click-bait titles.
Ok bro relax it is hard
You make incredible videos man. Wish you the utmost success.
The only one drummer on UA-cam who is concerned about making great content, and not just wasting minutes just to monetize his videos. Thanks dude
Our friend here makes great kids, but there's loads of people who do too. I'm not sure who else you're wasting time watching that you feel so cheated 🤔
love your work!!
Amazing lesson, you are a great teacher!
Really great explanation, I m not that good so while it will take time to get to the slow level, at least there’s hope thanks to you. Subed.
So good! Thanks for the break down and call out Alex! ❤
Brilliant mate! Nice to see some fresh ideas on the halftime shuffle and not another lesson on Rosanna.
Rad
Great video and explanations! It just feels a bit weird to me not tu use the 3-3-3-2 subdivision for the eleven. Mainly because that's what I hear the piano melody on. But in general great work man! I will try to learn this groove now :D
Wow thanks for the breakdown. Yeah the ending was a mind funk 🙏💜🙏
Sick vid! Lots of great breakdowns. And if you aren't following Noah's IG, you're missing out. His clips are INSANE
It's a great arrangement by Molina, but let's not forget the original straight-ahead OG version from jazz king Dizzy Gillespie!
Es muy bueno su canal muy bien explicado aunque no se nada de inglés entiendo las partituras muy bien es universal muchos saludos desde rosario Argentina
You are a genius. You explain wonderfully!!!
Alex, after having followed you for quite some time I decided to get your two ebooks and as I went through the grooves I scrolled back to your old videos for the respective songs; having the direct comparison of your first videos and now is such a difference - I think your videos were always really good, but now it's really just next level. Your song selection, detailed yet comprehensible explanations, editing and in general your approach to approach a new groove is the best I've come across over the years. I wish you lots of success for the future and thank you so much for all the hard work you put in so far!
Absolutely Sick!!🔥amazing job!
Just looked for a tutorial on this groove yesterday. Well done!
Fire
This method works with everything, I suppose. Thank you for the explanation ❤
I was gonna drop that Yussef track in as an example but you got it of course!
Crazy groove right there. I’ve been listening to this song lately, and trying to understand… thanks!
Man¡!.. how long did you take to figure that out and then nail it???... Awesome
Thanks Alex, you are a huge musician.
Yeeaahh..... Super simple....
Sick!
I'm just a beginner so I haven't been trying to play anything fast really. Well today I tried a song (1/8 notes) at 130 bpm. My hand so soooo tired and it started hurting. Plus the stick was sliding out of my hand. I'll have to start paying attention to my grip and see how I'm holding the stick.
That hihat sounds so good, and sick playing! I'd buy a sample pack if u make/have made one
Greatest groove ever! But I’m missing Ash Soan on your “list” 😅 However, here’s 24 renditions where I tried to make it my own ✌🏻😎 ua-cam.com/play/PLgbNYrZECAo34b7GMGxqWLux3LK4w_vjP.html&si=ju2Yps0Tq6Z6WAY5
Haha yeah Ash Soan is a shuffle wizard for sure, should have included him! Thanks for watching mate! Alex 👊
@ Yeah he’s got a magical shuffle touch! And thank you for some great content 👌🏻🤩
Cooool! So sad this series discontinued.
I’ll cover some more jungle tracks in future, just most likely in a different format! Alex 👊
@@DrumHubTuition Nice. I'm gonna stay tuned then. (;
That ride sounds beautiful. Wich one is it? Sounds like a 22" Light Ride o something like that
Thanks mate! Yeah you are bang on, it’s a 22” k light! Alex 👊
