What is the difference between difficulties in this game? I've played on very easy, normal and hard, but I don't really notice any difference with anything.

I'd say one bad thing about this version is no 6 button controller means you can't use twin stick like controls. So you have to move in a direction and then shoot rather than just being able to shoot any direction whenever. I'd prefer the genesis version for this reason.

Removing the dialogues like in Mobile Light Force 2 (the western release of the first Castle Shikigami with a rebranded name) is still a problem (but the US release had some narm) but changing the OST is the worst thing they've done there.

I just imported a Japanese saturn for a pretty good price, so I'm definitely in the market for one of these! and supporting CDRs is nice for the translated stuff like I'll definitely burn english Policenauts and play through it. will definitely have to get the all in one with the 1M/4M expansion though I'd be curious to play stuff like Marvel vs. SF on it!

Should've known playstation will be buggy, the console I wanted it for lol ! .. this ossc seems like a big headache, trying to adjust and tailor make each game with endless profiles to upload?... nah, think I'm better off investing in a decent desktop and might as well emulate... I am a mid console person, PS1, PS2, PS3, GAMECUBE, WII .. just bought a Retroscaler 2x to tinker with my new shitty Samsung led tv which gives such a bad componant picture compared to my old LG plasma screen. This version seems to have been improved with the removal of the cringey dialogue exchanges, and I quite like the music. Does look a bit sluggish though, wonder if that's just a 50Hz thing, and I'm not really a bullet hell fan so I don't think I'll be getting this.

The only problem I can think of is that once you put the Pseudo Kai into the cartridge slot, you can't put in games like The King of Fighters "95 or Ultraman into the console since those need their propriatary ROM cartridges.

Unfortunately, this game on Taito Legends 2 is flawed as following -- The PS2 version lacks rapid fire while using the machine gun. The Xbox version lights don't go out when you shoot them. And both versions have slowdown. Conclusion - play this game on MAME.

Hi, I have a American saturn. I was told that Japanese import games can be played on the American saturn via pseudo kai cart or action replay 4m carts. When I tried playing a Japan king of fighter's 95 via action replay on the U.S saturn it wouldn't play. I was told I needed the Rom cartridge for it in order to play it on the American saturn.

F1 Beyond the limits on the Saturn had the coolest inteduction ever at each round, good music and beleive it or not: Damn good gameplay when learning it and understand you have to drive like irl.\m/

games with the ossc on a 55" oled tv. The ossc It is linked to my ps2 via scart cable. May you suggest me the ossc best configuration? I find the line3x is the best for me but maybe i am wrong..

Looks okay, but sounds boring compared to Super Mario Kart and Street Fighter 2. More sound effects, effects, and music would have been nice.

The main question is why are you buying repros? I'm not a collector, but I like Saturn games. I'm a real person and $20 or so for a video game is actually realistic. It's a light hobby. I just have a Saturn and 37 games for it.

I personally couldnt tell any difference between component and rgb when using the Kaico adapter. It was only slightly better than standard av/composite.

Meh, the way one guy was raving on "this is better than r type final 2" and he's got a countdown to his video LOL, I expected more. Your review is grounded, thank you. I do like the sound with what I have heard, so there's that. But the graphics just don't work for me, and it's not about being pretty, it's about being coherent. For example, there's this game refrain: prism memories, that I love - the GFX are really basic, but it feels right for the game and feels "organic". So it's not always about having fancy graphics, but they have to feel right! I hope that makes sense. I mean I am not willing to give this a go for 15 USD (21 AUD in my currency) cause it's not on steam. On Steam I'd be happy to buy it and spend half hour with it, and return it if I didn't enjoy it. Simple.

These guys have waaaay overpriced this. You shouldn’t pay more than 130 euro for OSSC 1.7. OSSC 1.6 about 100 euro even. It’s a great device, 100%, but i wouldn’t buy the Kaico kit!
