Growing up in the nineties there was a lot of competition for the perception of what a "metal guitar" was, for a little kid. Jackson, ESP, Dean, Washburn, BC Rich... But Steve Vai and Satriani played Ibanez, and even though I was listening to other stuff, I always knew that Ibanez was the real deal. A few years ago I got my first Wizard 3 neck Ibanez, and I instantly knew WHY it was the real deal. It's a guitar made with a purpose, designed to perfection, a machine.

Most of your advice is the exact opposite of what my guitar teacher taught me years ago. Don't be a sissy about it and play the acoustic sounds you can build the necessary callouses and finger strength. At the very least use a normal string guage on an electric like 9s or 10s. 8s have too much high end and they'll break way easier

My first electric guitar was an Ibanez Les Paul. It was actually really well made and can measure up to the original that I have owned several of. I've also had a neck through, gray metallic that I can't remember the model name of but it was a stratocaster model. Loved that guitar. When I was going to replace it, the only guitar that came close in quality was a Jackson Soloist. Then we talk quality!

Ibanez is not popular, not even in Japan itself. It's so hard to find any pro guitarists using Ibanez. Don't get me wrong, hey might have been a great company in the past but its not anymore...

I bought my first guitar, blood splatter GRG07LTD2, and it is a DREAM. 2006 white blood splatter Ibanez Gio. I play it everyday and I love it. Neck is twisted a little and it still played like a gem. If you’re just getting into guitar get a Gio or RG…. Best guitars for price on the market. Or Tagima. Korea or Brazil made both are outstanding guitars for the price.

i own one of the hundred replicas of the steve vai's evo. then i upgraded 21 of the metal parts to titanium. my favourite sound is obtained at the 4th pickup position which reminds to the stratocaster as played by knopfler, but when i add the lehle julian pedal, which can do something i've never seen before, reducing the gain, so it cleans up the humbucker and sounds like a singlecoil but without the noise and at the same time it boosts the lows to a similar sound i've heard at plugins when using the pulteq low end trick. for using other pedals in distortion i prefer the bridge pickup. prior to this guitar which is by far the best one in the brand i used to have the worst one, rg350dxz where my favourite pedal hendrix digitech sounded like a 75% of quality compared to the evo. and that pedal sounded like a 25% quality when used at a squier telecaster. so the dimarzio evolution bridge pickup is for the quality of stomp boxes the equivalent to 4k in image. there are some cons. i wish it had true temperament frets, all the neck scalloped, i would make it with the body shape of martin backpacker because horns are unnecesary, and i would avoid the bridge pickup, place the floydrose in that position, keeping the same scale length but longer neck so it would be easier to play upper frets. if i was the engineer i would include in the electronics the lehle dc filter and the lehle split, i would make the strings parallel, a neck with same size, with the back in tear shape.

i knew a feller like this in my younger years.. jB he played professionally pretty much all his adult life... he tours all over now i believe.. one of the biggest inspiration in my life... music or no music has had a huge impact on how i've sculpted myself in the last few years.

I own Gibsons Les Paul's 59s, an old EKO and a Peavey special plus (of course)one Ibanez RG550, I bought in Santa Monica in 1988, I still have it! What a great job you did. My girlfriend and I were glued to the screen and pointing out guitars and players, like a family should.loll That's how mesmerizing this is. Thank you for your hard and great work! I have a piano teacher that had the same problems as me in the past. Whe both suffer from adhd but he not only teaches me piano and helps me get big and make me stay motivated but he also is so supportive in my problems. He takes the time, he keeps sure if im okay and that stuf. And im so thankful because the channel where im on now is actualy the account he helped me with to stay confident and a begin to something big maybe.
