Ewers has calm demeanor that allows him to not panic in the pocket or get rattled when stepping up to make the throw with a pass rusher in his face. His anticipation throws are right on time and he doesnt make the same mistake twice. Ewers is extremely deceptive in play action when running sarks offense , making the defense lean one way then turns his head and scans the defense quickly before choosing where to throw the ball. Now I am seeing alot of dropped balls from multiple receivers, im not saying they were all easy catches but a regardless they were drops. He might be a bit inconsistent on the deep ball but when its on its on and i have seen improvement from his first season in that area. He has become more mobile this past year which does add to his game but with his injury history i would prefer he only run it when he really needs to like he currently does, just want him to slide more instead of trying to get the TD every run. Overall Ewers seems to be a great leader when conducting the offense down the field. im fully expecting his to game to reach the next level this season.

Little did anyone know, we were about to go off in the 4th 😂 Also AD Mitchell falling in the draft was an absolute travesty. Hot take: he's gonna be the better WR in the NFL compared to Worthy (though I think Whittington may go off and shock everyone)

Matt Campbell is definitely a crybaby and overrated

wow I watch this now and see Ewers struggling so much. He anticipates poorly and really cannot FEEL the pocket. The talent is there but the instincts are not. He has acknowledged his injury prone reality and will be the best QB on the shortest leash this upcoming year. Arch brings the intangibles needed for a title run. Ewers can be great, but he is not a champion.
