People question why Ewers is an NFL talent, look at the play at 25:05. You can't teach that. Quinn still has ways to go in terms of decision making and footwork, that will come with experience and reps.
Lol at the screen pass through the center at 15:43 ... There were 2 ISU lineman 7 yards downfield before the pass was thrown. I get that pass interference calls are subjective, but this play was objectively a penalty, there isn't any room for interpretation unless the referees are incompetent or intentionally biased.
In the NCAA there’s an exception if the ball is caught behind the LOS. On this play it does looks like it may have been slightly beyond the line, but that’s a much tighter call than the issue you’re looking at. I don’t disagree that the Big 12 refs have been bad for us, but at least this wasn’t Ken Mar
Missed the game live, this is dope appreciate it 🫡💯🤘🏾
Really appreciate these condensed games. Thanks. 🤘
Big game from Jordan Whittington. Made a number of key plays, with the first touchdown obviously being the biggest.
He sure did. I was glad to see some of the non-primary receivers get some catches. Gunar Helm also.
I hope they feed Whittington again in the remaining games.
Also the run after catch to get them in fg range right before half was huge and was probably the difference in this game being 23-16 instead of 26-16
@@rhettmoore7732 yea that 30 yard run after the catch was a momentum swinger
J Whitt is da shit.
David Gbenda was balling out! This might be his best game yet. Was seeing it well and is really explosive coming downhill.
Maybe sark’s best game from beginning to end as well
You know the culture is good when damn near everyone comes out to chest bump the kicker after a 50 yarder.

You're the man!
Can someone explain to me how it is a block in the back at 24:02? The ISU player has his back to play, but the block is on the play side of the ball.
None of what you said matters? He pushed (with a full extension of his arms no less) the back of the Iowa State player. That’s a block in the back.
43:35 I still can’t believe Quinn missed AD on that deep ball :(
Thanks!

Should’ve been a much more lopsided win without the refs helping isu
