Hi Sheri, I'm glad you are feeling somewhat better and beginning to slowly change things as you go along and improve your well-being. Yes Sheri, I agree you can't see people's disabilities because some are not visible at times. But people do judge unfortunately which is totally wrong altogether. There are different degrees of blind sight within the individuals who suffer with there vision. Trying to make the person feel more less than a third class citizen than a person who may be having daily difficulties on a daily life is a horrible situation. People should be trained in people's issues if you work in the customer service and not swiftly judge people. Supporting each other helps us all help deal with each other daily problems and try to iron out problems for each other and be compassionate towards all of us. Sheri you have a great pure heart and have qualities that shine and your love, passion and enlightenment is wonderful. I liked your viking stone so cool. Those vikings knew a lot of things that they brought to shores when they invaded other countries. Sheri good video and you highlighted many issues that were connected with you. @ladyphoenix_111 Sheri, I've been checking all my documents, Visa, suitcases over and over again. Fly out at 3am (Spainish time) on Friday morn, 15hr flight. I've talked daily to Talia and her parents out there they got evacuated from there home, Talia had the spare set of keys to my home i which wasn't touched by fires, I'm so lucky. So they are there until they are allowed to go back to there house. I've been in touch with a certain animal charity there I made a donation that will make a big difference and I've promised to help out as I've done it before and I want to help the people that lost everything. I'm not sure how long I will stay as I've got to get the ball rolling for Talia to move to Spain so lots of legal stuff between USA and Spainish authorities. I'm even more nervous than I was when I went last time. Talia as changed my life In many ways and my life is going to be with her for the rest of my living days. She totally understands my ways and things that trigger me . Sheri I trust her with my life I will always be there for you Sheri, giving you my input and I do listen to what you have to say, I take it all in. I wish there was a magic switch I could flick and you could have stress free days and live your life without, trauma and be a happy soul which you are and may your positivity , inspire others and never judge your own content because it's raw and it shows what's going on, never be embarrased as you have the gumption, guts to put out such content. @ladyphoenix_111 Sher im doing alright, I'm on tender hooks but I will be okay when I fly out Friday morn 3am my time. Glad my other home there in L A. Was not touched by such horrors what's been going on. I've already rang a friend who is well known she's into her animal charity work and I'm going to help the poor pets that became abandoned because people can't take them to emergency shelters. I'm also going to help the poorer community that have lost everything. Plus I've got to sort out legal paperwork for Talia to move from usa to Spain so lots of applications to be filled in and legal headaches. I'm glad you are trying hard to achieve such goals you reach your target and it will surprise you. Sheri you are a lovely person with a heart of pure gold. Never give up and strive for your best that's all you can ask for Never worry about what you say or do in your vids or worry about the length. It's you and your journey know matter how long or short anything you post. Your raw, honest open emotions is out there for everyone to see. So don't be embarrased or ashamed, guilty. Sheri you are doing it to help others who also struggle on a daily basis with issues. Sheri you do make a positive difference and do what you have to and never regret anything. Thank you so much Alan! I missed these last 2 responses, and there is a lot I want to respond to. I am falling asleep it's 10:23pm my time. You have the heart of gold my friend. With all the good you do!!! Seriously, I can't believe all the things you do. But I think soon, maybe within a month or two, maybe by spring, I should have some of this sorted out and be on a better path for me. :) I love to help others like you do, but for me it's maybe a couple of people here and there that I meet or get to know. I know everyone helps something close to their heart in their own way, so I don't compare, but I indeed have never met anyone who does all that you do! Eventually when I find what God or the Universe, or our higher power would like me to do with my life, or if I can find something more aligned with me, I can actually do good things in my spare time. :) This last year I met a young lady who reminds me of myself when I was young. I have met some of her family. She is a sweetheart. I look forward to sharing some of the things I have learned with her so she won't have to figure it out on her own or blame herself. :) to me that is everything. I feel like if I even help one person at some point, it's always good. I am glad to hear your home has not been damaged by those terrible fires. I am so worried for people over there. That is crazy. It feels like every year do the fires get worse? So scary! For me, I love animals, and I will support animal shelters or something like that when my financial situation is better in the future. I like to see what St. Jude is doing for the little children, and anything that supports mental health, Alzheimer's, or cancer. It can feel daunting with so many causes, people and animals in need. But I really feel like if each of us helped one person that is a lot! I have adopted rescued animals when I get pets. When my situation is better so I can adopt again, I look forward to adopting kitties. Sorry, my situation isn't that bad, it's just working through my journey and figuring out how to navigate it. But wild fires, and all the things you have going on with travel, and getting things squared away for Talia etc, it's a lot! I think what you are doing is wonderful. Hang in there Alan, you are such a good person, you will be with Talia soon! And then you both can figure all this out together. You won't be able to help all the people and children you want to, you are just one person. But what you do is like 100 x more than anyone I know!! It's very inspiring. I haven't gotten to fully respond to some of your past comments mentioning your struggles with OCD. If your struggles with that are showing up more this week, that would be totally normal given how stressful all that unresolved issues you are squaring away would do, and the unknown future with the fires, being away from Talia if you have gotten used to a routine with her being around, etc. So don't be mad or beat yourself up, if you are having a hard time. Changes in general can be stressful even in the best of times, or exciting times. Do you have any fears with flying or issues with travel? Everything is going to be ok. Deep slow breaths if you get anxiety. :)
Good share and thank you ❤ you touched on something fundamental to many neurodivergent people: who heals the healer⁉️ regarding the big question-how do we heal our giving selves-I believe the answers will be as different as each of us is…I also believe you are doing some things that seem like they are not helpful in the moment but will undoubtedly provide insight down the road…I realize that taking a bath in the middle of the day may not work for many but it is something that resets me (I mean, I can’t run around like a manic when I’m soaking, right???) Trying new things is one way to possibly unlock our healing selves…have a good day out there and keep up the good work❤

Also feel like I can reflect a few insights that have worked for me to get out of burnout and not be an energetical sponge to everything and everyone ❤
@@jmswellbeing Thank you so much! :). Yes, sometimes I can try to be more mindful when I am at work, and not care as much to give %110 of myself. But it's hard to do with the demands of customers working retail while keeping up with the pace. I plan rest days into my week, but that is a lot of time lost, so trying to reflect on other possible ideas or solutions to try. Thank you very much! :D I have more content to watch on your channel later on. As I am able to absorb it. I started watching one on how you manage your time and have boundaries on it to prioritize taking care of you. I think that is really smart. I am definitely going to watch that one later! That would be very helpful, thank you for making it! ❤️ As I find material that hits home for my situation or might be helpful, I started a folder for myself, so I can go back and start to maybe study or take notes. More active learning. It takes a lot longer, but I will get distracted and forget about it and never apply it. All of these ideas to try are very good. And it could be that what helps one person, may not help another? But putting it out there to the universe will maybe help at least give them a framework of different aspects to try that might resonate with them. When I started trying to tackled my symptoms and get on track this past year, executive functioning issues and being overwhelmed with what to do first. I want to either do lives or a set of videos in the future about this. I think probably first is getting medication stabilized comes first, and nutrition, sleep, health stuff. To build foundation.. that I am learning if I let that stuff go it can very quickly wreck anything I am trying to build and set me backwards. So that's what I have so far. It's something you don't think about. But if only can do one thing in a day it better be to remember my pills, drink water and eat something or the next day will be bad and it takes several days to get back to stable. So I am thinking of the house analogy. The self care work sucks because it's monotonous. But maybe for ADHD folks start with what is their first "non-negotiable"? That if nothing else is done, this has to come first. It is building a strong foundation. With small steps. I started with one thing, and each week I add 1 more small thing so it starts to stick and become automatic. It's been the only way that works for me so far. If I find any thing else that is helpful, I will gladly share! :) I am feeling like I am learning to adult all over again. Lol 🤣😆

Sheri red tape is the world over unfortunately. Covid changed the world and we went backwards. Uk where i am originally from they had a great health system called National Health Service you payed a small tax out of your wages which entitled you to free healthcare. But since covid its hard to get a Dr appointment. Here in Spain you have to have health insurance. Sheri i worked in the banking industry not commercial banking, but private investment banking. Protection insurance is added to your account and most times its not needed its way of getting you into more debt, the banks wont tell you that want to make more profit on top of profit. Banks still charge you at all costs. Go into your bank in person and see a banking advisor and see what they can do for you. If you do it online or over the phone they just shove you around in circles, as they are just following guidelines and if your problem is not on there sheet infront of them they fob you off. Go in and speak to someone in person and explain dont lose your cool and they should be able to help. Yes people don't see the small print, they play on peoples insecurities. Sheri go in and sort it in the branch in person. Yes its frustrating there must be consumer credit regulations to protect the customer. If you can prove that you where missold the protection policy on your account you should be able to claim some money back as you never asked for it. Glad you got your prescrition sorted another thing done which is important. You take care, take your meds, eat and chill, dont let them wind you up. It's not worth piling more pressure which as been heaped upon you as you are trying so hard to combat things in a positive way. Hope your mood changes to a Happy one as you have a beautiful personality and you don't deserve to be shoved around by beaurocratic systems. 🙏🩷✨️🌟💞😊

Not yet, just because - well I didn't think my insurance would cover that? And also the pain is temporary until the back heals and I go easy on it for a few days to a week. I know I am supposed to be doing stretches for it, to strengthen other areas to support my back, so I blame myself. I just haven't been able to find the worksheets since we moved. 🤷🏻♀️ 🤦🏻♀️Doh! My bad! :) Most of my content is about my struggles with ADHD right now, and also learning about Autism. So it might seem weird seeing this. It has been very surprising and eye opening to become aware of all of this stuff. And overwhelming. And the last few years I have isolated myself more and more as it has seemed to have gotten worse. There is this thing called ADHD burnout, like there is autism burnout. If you think you are like everyone else, and you hold yourself up to the same expectations that is more than you can do, it can burn you out and make you sick. It's really confusing. So I started this to help other people like myself, as I try different things to help me as well. I have an "about me" folder/ playlist, if that is helpful to see why I started the channel and what I am trying to do. I think it says "New to my channel? Watch me first. :)" I have to make a better video as I learn how to make them better and explain things better. :) I'm just an old girl, with a phone, trying to get better and help other people too. I don't know what the heck I am doing here. Hahaha 🤣 been off all social media since 2008! So I am verrrrry late to the party. I feel like a dinosaur. 🦖🦕

It's 4:40pm.starting to get dark now, we've been in the garden gathering up rest of the fruit, tided around the courtyard terrace etc, went into the pool did about 60, 30mtr lengths. I've not been sleeping too good as Talia 90days his up here and she as to return to L.A., I fly out to L.A. in about two weeks as I've got few loose ends to sort here in Spain. It's been magical I can't wait till we make her stay here a permanent one but so much red tape and hoops to jump through. She loves it here. Gentle pace of life no hustle and bustle. Unlike Hollywood and Bev Hills. We found out so much about each other good and what needs to be put right. She as changed my life and the way I totally think, she accepts me for who/what I am. I fully understand how frustrating it is sometimes to complete a thought or sentence. Its the main reason I seeked medical help. I feel for you. Focus on the positives more. Seems like you are hyper focused on all the negatives. Show me a video of mostly positive things. Show me your hopes and realistic dreams in a positive way. Show me that you did something kind for a stranger. Show me that you did something kind for someone you care about in your life. Show me something you did to better your life. Show me some progress you made with cleaning. Show me these things. They dont have to be huge gestures for people. I'd love to see a video with these. Good luck. You can do it.

I think this is how it can sometimes turn into rumination or giving up. And the burnout part is getting in the way too, I'm trying to force solutions because I tried so many things and frustrated things are the same. And the guilt I have too. Lol. I have 4 shoe box sized boxes full of them! I even went through a nail art phase a few years back.. I should totally dig up those old pictures! :) one Christmas I learned how to paint a penguin on my accent nail. 💅🏻 It's so tricky painting the other hand! Lol. Yes I do wonder about ADHD and autism perhaps being related somehow? Even though they are different conditions, and sometimes you can have both. But it's the fact that depression, bipolar, ADHD, autism and dyslexia run in my family. I noticed people who have ADHD or autism tend to also have diagnosed major depression or bipolar, as well as learning disabilities &/or dyslexia. The people I have known anyway..and that isn't counting comorbities. Let's face it, if you are neurodivergent, and it passed undiagnosed for your whole life, there is a good chance you are going to have depression and anxiety just for dealing with it your whole life and thinking it's your fault. That's not even inherited depression, that's just surviving and getting through it somehow. There is so much to learn. It can be pretty overwhelming. (Sorry type too much). :)

It's really scary to open up and show vulnerable sides to ourself. But I was thinking there HAS to be others who struggle with things like I have? And hopefully it will make things a little easier for them. Also it helps me too. Life is too short for suffering. I don't want to do that anymore. I want to learn a new way. I don't know what it is yet? But I will keep trying. And connecting with others on here helps keep me from giving up or feeling bad about myself too. So it has to be a good thing, I hope? I am not perfect and I don't know what I am doing yet. Lol 🤣 I will learn and hopefully be more open to new ideas as I go. 🤗💖

That's so strange? I thought I put as many hashtags as possible, in each description? I will have to go back and check to see which ones I missed? I am old school I’m 53 right so I’m older and I wanted to nail that surgeon I was in a wheelchair for a year because some surgeon and Canada and Barrie Ontario Canada did not keep his doctors surgeons oath. The man should be in jail for a year and his license should be stripped away but I’m a survivor not even so. I went through something that was really unique although it does happen to 32,000 people approximately probably last probably more and the only time anybody can ever even retain any justice or get any justice or fine justice or field justice or think justice is through money. I want this guy in jail for a year after what he did to my leg and didn’t say anything that was the worst party never said a wordanyway I go on and on about it all the time and I really better get ready for work, I’m talking into my phone all night and I won’t leave okay? It is very confusing. You would never know if you met me, but I guess if you are a woman who speaks well, you can do this thing called "masking". I think we all do that to some extent. It's behaving in the ways others want you to. So you don't realize you are hiding your symptoms and never know you have it. Anyway, do you or anyone you know struggle with anxiety, depression, or have ADHD, dyslexia, learning differences, autism, or maybe just very introverted? If so, this is a very safe space for you. :) I hope that sharing my struggles, will help someone else like me out there to feel seen and less confused, overwhelmed and alone. I am also recovering from a burnout. I am supportive of all people struggling of course but especially women who are having to learn this and are in a similar space as I am. Sometimes I feel like manipulative it’s manipulative UA-cam because you have to have marketing this and do well at this And I can be more specific than that, but I just decided well I can’t share you know what you gave me so many good ideas there. I need to go through more of your footage and I will tomorrow too. I’ll watch every video on your channel, if I don’t watch every single one, they will be viewed if you understand and liked and commented because that’s how to get your algorithm up and for whatever your goal is and doing this you are going to do so well and I just wanted to call it out before it happensbecause this is the fifth time I’ve gone to a channel. If you look at my playlists, the one that says "Learn with me", it's the one I am sitting on my deck. I think it is more polished. I am teaching what I was learning for medical c.e. credits. We can all see how we are doing that week and maybe talk about a different topic that week. I'm not sure. But I have a friend who has been trying to help me. I am just coming back to work after a burnout I took like 3-4 months off. I need to check on my health too. My back and my joints not great. And get better. I don't know. I struggle with depression and I have to learn how to overcome this stuff, I have no structure. It's a long story. Omg. Why do I not sleep 😴 I'm a dummy. Gonna try to sleep. Zzz 😴 lol.

Really? Thank you! That is awesome! 👍🏻😎. I try things, they help,... I forget about them or they get boring, then it's a chore, then it's hard and I have to come up with something else. My counselor described it to me. It's like some kind of ADHD motivation cycle. It's good to know about it so when it does happen, you aren't hard on yourself and look at it like a failure. It's part of the process. So you can pivot and make adjustments to it and try something new. I will get there someday. Lol. I have a playlist of my 30 day ADHD experiment. But the videos are long and probably not very watchable. Lol. When something is new and fun we get dopamine and it works... Then the novelty of it wears off and it starts to become boring or stressful, dopamine drops. So it's hard to find something I can be consistent with.

Look up Ed Sheeran on UA-cam music videos and listen to them. His first song that got famous is, "The A Team". Mom got tickets for she and I to go see him in concert. That was her Christmas present to she and I last year. We had a lot of fun. I couldn't hold all of those videos in my phone and had to put them somewhere, so I uploaded/ downloaded them to UA-cam. :)
