Great products! I have that wallet, the version from about 5-6 years ago though, and I can tell you it's great for fitting into smaller bags and fitting ton of credit cards, loyalty cards, AAA, etc. And Quince items are always the best, I just got a package in the mail today, lol

Very timely! Saw your pic in Tommy Bahama linen jacket and loved it. Was getting ready to order from Tommy Bahama but wasnt looking forward to the $140 price tag so definitely going to try Quince's less expensive version. I have those silk pillow cases from Amazon -- love them.

Great video! What is your feeling on capris? I realize they may not always be flattering but I never wear shorts. I don't like the way I look in them. I am 48 years old and will be wear very casual clothes this summer. I will be working in a camp and on an occasional weekend may go to a lake where my family shares a boat. Thank you!

Nice job with this video. This is a much needed topic for petites. The world is towering over us and people (probably unknowingly) use their height as an intimidation or leverage on us. I definitely need to work on my self confidence. Thank you for mentioning nurturing our souls. A different tip, avoid tops with sleeves that are too long for you, they make you look like you are wearing your mom’s clothes! Fitted sleeves are amazing in making you look in proportion

I started watching you as we were similar height and weight so I could actually visualize how I might look in various outfits. Very sorry to hear about the anxiety. I can relate. My path through life and work is different from yours, but I definitely agree about finding colours which support whatever you’re trying to do. I’ve also been inspired by confident introverts, ie people who are quiet and need time alone, but when they do speak, they really know their topic and are insightful. So that’s attainable for me… sometimes 🤭

Lori, anxiety is something most of the people in our lives would never guess how debilitating it is for us. Having suffered from anxiety since my preteens I have learned to hide mine and use humor to appear carefree and confident. I'm amazed at how much I am like you. Although I'm retired in my 60s, I love all things fashion and makeup. I still sit cross legged ony couch, but I do have my power outfits lined up when I need them. I'm 5'0" as well. My anxiety is still hounding me although I have much less problems and pressures since I'm retired. I love your channel. Thank you for all your helpful tips.

Hi Lori! Thanks for sharing your great suggestions. Does your chair have adjustments for seat depth and height? When I saw you sitting in your office chair, I wondered if the seat was too deep for you. I am your height and many chairs have seats that are too deep for me or don’t adjust sufficiently to allow my feet to touch flat on the ground. When I rest my back for support against the seat back the seat presses against the back of my knees. Sometimes I end up perching on the seat edge. The chair adjustments help customize the chair to fit me better.

Great video. Thank you. I work in a very casual and very small law firm. Despite the casual atmosphere, I try to dress appropriately. I find that you get more respect when you look capable. I'm still much too casual for a formal office but, I don't look like I'm heading to river to go kayaking either.

Good morning, Lori! As a career advisor I can endorse every suggestion you shared! Two points that I think are particularly important are to find someone that you admire for their speaking skills and model yourself after them. Also, read books on great orators and practice, practice, practice! Point two would be to know what your "power" outfit might be. I have a favorite outfit that I call my "interview suit" and wear it for interviews as well as for public speaking events. I feel comfortable in it, I look professional, and it makes me feel even more confident when I'm not fussing with what I'm wearing. You shared some great tips and I'm saving these to share with others!

First, I have to say that you look GREAT, Lori!!! You are slim, trim and beautiful! All of your advice is correct and most of these things used to be taught to girls back in the 1950's and '60's which is when I was growing up. Keep up the stellar work because it's working!!❤🤗😊

Girl, I LOL when I saw you setting in your chair cross legged.....I heard my MAMA in my head "Barbara Jean what did you think you are doing....SIT up straight and knees together, feet on the floor!" Yes, I'm a beast (but a nice beast) in RED, especially a red lip! I miss being able to wear heels these days.

I think if you are petite but not a pear shape, you can wear the taper leg pants. ElanaKinda 5'1'' petite youtuber wears tapered leg pants/jeans a lot and they are so flattering.

I love being short, and never try to hide it. I am more into what makes me look slim, and turns out I break all these rules ALL THE TIME...lol...greetings from 156 cm..lol PS Both the Queen of Norway and the Queen on Sweden are about as "tall" as I am, and both (especially Sonja of Norway) are really good with proportions. So even if I never need the sort of clothes they use, I can still watch what sort of proportions they use, and I am sure they both have professional stylists. The Grand Duchess of Luxembourg is pretty doorknobby also, although a bit chubbier and she LOVES flamboyant clothes, strong colours, things that wave in the wind etc. And she too also seems to give half banana in looking taller, but she normally looks really good.

I don’t like tiered dresses, either, nor puffed sleeves. These girlish details just aren’t sophisticated enough for my mature age. I think denim shorts, especially cutoffs, don’t look current, it’s time to give them a rest. I don’t understand my fellow Americans’ obsession with them, they’re really only for teenage girls and have been done to death.

Loosing 10 lbs helps slim the silhouette and avoid jeans with horizontal fade lines or wrinkles and you didn’t mention. 3/4 length sleeves for cardigans and sweaters ad those sweater you show are too long for your proportion
