My favorite thing about the Muppet Show is the poignant, quiet moments like this. The Muppet Show, while it had the ability to be funny, also has the ability to convey very powerful messages.

I remember seeing this when it aired, and ever since then I always play this in my head when I hear the real song.

They changed the lyrics from the original version (from a protest song to an anti-hunting song). But it still works.

Jerry Nelson is a great singer.

Now when I think of this song I think of this video. I loved it by the Buffalo Springfield but love this one more.
