Just never get enough of sad sweet dreamer,he truly had a voice inside him. I met him outside Bailey’s,we were both checking gyaldem. Both Browns, both cheeky and very young. CheeseOnBread.
When I first listened to this song in the 70s,,I first thought it was Michael Jackson,,😮Brill song ,takes me back when I hear it ,what a great time it was 🎉
Great song which I remember hearing and thinking wow what a song. Great memories associated with it. Sk sad to hear how the lead singer passed and his son. But he lives on through his music. RIP
I absolutely love this song. It takes me right back to the wonderful days if youth. Marcel has the kind of rare beautiful voice which touches the heart and soul.
I so miss the early 1970s today such a beautiful era to be in cool music and great music like this sad sweet dreamer..... So wish a time machine could be invented id give anything to go back to the 70s 😢❤
Un air de musique et c'est "back to the future". Ce titre me remémore un endroit, une heure, un contexte précis. C'est fantastique le pouvoir de la musique.
A sad farewell to Marcel King and Leroy Smith. I remember reading about Leroy's passing, alone in his flat above a restaurant. Nobody should die alone. Thanks for the music - for the wonderful memories.
You are right. Nobody should die alone. I was reminded just a few hours ago; apparently someone had died overnight in the parking lot next door (popular with homeless people because it has an overhang to keep the rain off them). It looked like he just went to sleep and never woke up. Very disturbing to see.
I will never forget Marcel and how we met. You couldn't write this. It was the first day we moved into our new home. Mum, myself and siblings. We couldn't find anything. Mum asked me and my elder sister to knock the house next door for some coffee. As my elder sister held my hand, we knocked the door, it opened. There stood , Marcel! We froze, there stood Marcel infront of us, the guy who's song was currently number one in the charts. Our families became firm friends as they had lots of mutual friends. I can still remember, all the good times when many musicians came over to jam and our homes were flooded with sounds and love. A talented and beautiful soul.
Sweet Sensation - Sad Sweet Dreamer, bester Song des Jahres 1974 !!! Bis heute gibt es keine brauchbare Remix-Version, leider...

It's just one of those songs I will always love - memories ...
One of the best songs I have ever heard in my life. It was a hit in Uruguay in 1976. No years go by and it is still as relevant as ever.
I remember this song 🎵 loved it....still do...just a beautiful song 🎵
Great words true great song 😮😮❤
Absolute classic, took me an age to get this single, shows my age but more importantly just how much this was in demand.
1974 - when your friends wanted Led Zeppelin to play on the radio, but you were desperately hoping it would be Sad Sweet Dreamer by Sweet Sensation.
Omg this song is beautiful!! Reminds me of School days. Gives me chills. Wish i had a time machine ❤
Sounds a lot like Michael Jackson.

I joined the Army aged 16 in 1974, and this song used to fill the Barrack Block, very fond memories.
